Eric, Darryle, and Jamie were all fantastic, taking more than ample time to walk me through the processes, and making sure everything was in order and I understood everything clearly. I could not have asked for a better group of individuals helping me purchase my home. Highly recommended!!!!

I purchased my first home through Fulton and HFG was the preferred lender. HFG is mortgage broker and I would normally recommend a credit union, but HFG offered $8K towards closing/upgrades which the banks could not match. The best part was that I locked in at a low interest rate, sub 4%, with only 5% down on a conventional loan. (Note: I got this interest rate before the FED increased the interest rate, so your results may vary.)
I dealt with Carisa Winklepleck who is my loan officer and she was upbeat and knowledgeable.
Summary, a credit union always give the best interest rates, but I got a great interest rate and $8K for my new home. I would recommend HFG to my friends and family.

Just an excellent experience with Homeowners Financial and Debbie Bishop. They are competent, capable, experienced, and timely. Their automated systems function well, everything is relatively easy, and their Advisors the best I've worked with. Having worked with several banks in past deals, these comments aren't made lightly - we find banks to be less than competent, and lost in their own procedures. After working with Homeowners, we will never return to bank mortgage associates

My experience was terrible. We used this company last year for our initial loan. They called me and suggested I refinance to save some monthly $. I agreed and the process was not only extremely frustrating but disappointing as well. Not only did they not listen to our concerns or wants, they made discussions on their own that effected our loan and timeline. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I am very happy with my decision to work with HFG. Prior to choosing them, I was already working with a different lender and one of the biggest difference I saw was that HFG charges a lot less for loan funding. Additionally, when my husband and I had to explain derogatory remarks and credit inquiries on our credit report, the 'other' lender wanted a letter, but HFG made it super easy by providing a template that only required me to explain in a few words. I was also impressed with my lender's commitment to service by taking my calls past 7:00 pm, texting me with updates as soon as it's received, promptly responding to my emails/text, putting me at ease when I had doubts. I also enjoyed their 'Loan Progress' video that briefly explains each milestone as they are reached (Documentation, Process/Underwriting, Conditional Approval, Clear to Close and Funded). As an added bonus, my lender surprised me and my husband by refunding all of our escrow money back. We weren't expecting that at all! Thanks HFG!
