This is the third time we've used Homeowners Financial and specifically Mary Gardner. The whole experience from beginning to the closing of our new home in 1 word was Excepional. Mary's is the total Professional. Her total focus to every detail is amazing and keeping my wife and I in the loop every step of the mortgage process was truly so appreciative. Considering the trying time we live in now, Mary didn't miss a beat. We were actually able to close on our home 4 days earlier then we were originally scheduled. We definitely would use Homeowners Financial and we would recommend Mary Gardner present. Thank you again Mary for all the hard work and for treating my wife and I as part of your own family.

Being new to the area, we were referred to Jeff by our realtor. Jeff was very quick to respond and answer our questions. He also worked hard to get us the lowest possible rate on our mortgage. Overall, it was a great experience and we would use Jeff again in the future.

From the day I met with Jerry for pre approval until the closing was 39 days! He was remarkable!! Very encouraging, knowledgeable, positive and supportive throughout the entire process. Never left me in limbo and was in constant contact with me. Would definitely recommend him for any friends and family!

GO TEAM BRUMIT! After comparing rates and closing costs of local banks and credit unions in the refinancing of our home Keven and Andrea were an answer to our prayer making this the easiest refinance experience possible. Our Homeowners Financial Group team went above all expectations in refinancing our home in a professional and timely manner. The HFG online line experience was a pleasant benefit by providing videos that helped us to understand each step of the loan process. Most importantly Keven and Andrea, as well as any other person that we worked with or through HFG was professional, polite and courteous, always available to speak to or returned all calls promptly to addressed our questions or concerns throughout the refinance stages. To sum it up, this team of refinance experts at HFG are the real deal so don t hesitate just do it and call Kevin Brumit today!

If nothing else, I'm confused by the 5 star average review this company has. I worked with Eric and regardless of numerous bumps along the road that really shouldn't have happened, I still would have left a 5 star review myself if not for what happened on the day of the planned closing. Literally as I was on my computer, preparing to send the wire to close, I get a call from Eric with him saying that I now need to pay about $18,000 more than the agreed-upon amount to close to pay off a personal loan. ON THE DAY OF CLOSING. AS I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SENDING THE WIRE. I sent the wire at the higher amount because I still wanted the house but with the documents not having been signed yet, this was so outrageous and unacceptable that I should have just walked out of the office. In addition, I was advised by an attorney who suggested that Eric and his team don't know what they're doing, in relation to a personal investment. He suggested finding a new loan officer. I didn't just as the process was so far along at that point, and as I wasn't expecting anything like the +~$18,000 closing "surprise" that happened later on. It's too bad that I didn't take the attorney's advice as I'd have around $18,000 more in cash than I do right now with a lot less stress during the closing process too. So bascially, I would never use his services again or recommend them to anyone.

Overall, very positive. I'm sure many issues that we had were due to our own inexperience, or the demands of underwriters. Lots of jumping through hoops, but Justin stayed positive through it, which is appreciated.

Up until December of last year, I was a loyal customer of another mortgage broker, having used that team for several transactions over the 17 years I owned my prior home. Leo made himself available for insight and advice through the entire process, from offer to close, and well beyond. Heidi was a dream to work with, always so helpful and accommodating. This purchase definitely had it's challenges, including an inexperienced agent and limited funds. But Leo proved himself to be a true mentor, turning each challenge into a learning opportunity. Leo understood that even though I could qualify for a bigger mortgage, my comfort level wasn't as high. He helped to structure a responsible deal that works for me. Good service. got me lowest interest rate at the time, and delivered everything they promised. and best of all, they told me total cost from day one and it turned out true except for the interest rate which turned out lower at the end. this was the 2nd time i used them for financing home, and i would do it again with them.

As with all things in life you really can only deal with what emerges at the time and COVID-19 was not easy for anyone to work within, Yet we never sensed any wavering on the part your team at any time during the entire process. When all is said and done it was not about being perfect, but being resilient, tenacious and effective in delivery, and your team definitely was. We came across Homeowners Financial Group due to OpenDoor preferred lender program, which we weren't sure, in the beginning how good they could be. But boy, were we glad we partnered with them! Homeowners Financial Group is such a top notch team! From the first call I received regarding their process and pricing, to the date my loan was closed, I was well kept informed of the progress. They seemed to be on-line 24/7 - when I had a question, I received a response right away. Sometimes via email; sometimes a call. Every member on the team went our of his/her way to help us understand what fees were involved; what criteria the lender was looking for, and what the loan status was, every step of the way. They were always friendly; never seemed impatient (Jenn Raj, you are the best!). We've gone through at least 5 different loan processes throughout the years through refi or purchases, we found this team to be the best - fastest; most responsive; most friendly and most competitive! We will definitely use them again, no doubt! I would highly recommend Homeowners Financial Group, especially Austin Bates team, to anyone!! Keep up with the good work, Austin Bates team!
