I purchased my first home through Fulton and HFG was the preferred lender. HFG is mortgage broker and I would normally recommend a credit union, but HFG offered $8K towards closing/upgrades which the banks could not match. The best part was that I locked in at a low interest rate, sub 4%, with only 5% down on a conventional loan. (Note: I got this interest rate before the FED increased the interest rate, so your results may vary.)
I dealt with Carisa Winklepleck who is my loan officer and she was upbeat and knowledgeable.
Summary, a credit union always give the best interest rates, but I got a great interest rate and $8K for my new home. I would recommend HFG to my friends and family.
