Don't go here for an anaphylaxis reaction. Came into the er around 9 am . It is now 7:10pm. I'm still waiting for a room. Took forever to get the second Epi injection. Still waiting on a room. Not the best idea to a have person with a immune system disorder in the er this long.

UPDATE:: 11:49 PM still in the ER almost 15 hours later is in the ER. My body is acky from the thin ER beds. I have a headache and can't rest after getting two EPINEPHRINE shots this morning. I would walk but can't take the health risk right now.

Yesterday I took my mom to the ER only thing did was run blood test. My mom had chest pain and we waited in the lobby for eight hours. this is ridiculous by the time they call her name just to say that The rooms are full and then we need to be more patient. I wish I could give zero stars I would never step in the Holy cross hospital again. by the time they call the patients name would pass out. Nurses are rude she told me she couldn t do anything about it but all I had to do was just wait.

I only put one star because you have to put something! I was there for head trauma. I was transported by ambulance yet still waited a very long time to be seen or treated. I was luck there wasn t anything major because I think I thrybeould just assume let me lay there and suffer. The care from the minute I arrived was pathetic at best! Staples were put in my head and they were not even put on correctly. My PC Dic, basically said they re doing nothing and took them out. I would NEVER trust Holy Criss with my life again!

Very bad what they have, they have nurses who cannot, practically, they injured my arm, I have 4 months that damaged an internal vein and they did not want to attend to me because they themselves damaged my arm but the large charges come to me. and because of you I couldn't work

I gave birth at Holy Cross Hospital back in 2010, ...

I gave birth at Holy Cross Hospital back in 2010, such a horrible experience with the staff. The receptionist was a Hispanic women who violated my HIPPA right, exposing and judging private medical information to my visitors. When I was in labor the one of the nurses was saying Where you crying like this when you were making the baby?. Besides the unprofessional care they did something wrong, they applied the epidural incorrectly, I became paralyzed, I couldn t move my head, my fingers, my arms, and I just stopped breathing. I did not see my daughter when she was born, My daughter is going to be 10 and I still have traumas, since then I suffer merintophobia and claustrophobia. With my second C-section I was suffering anxiety and I was scratching my husband s arms, he did not say a word about it until I was in recovery and I saw the scratches. The staff in this hospital are monsters! They know nothing about patient care! And they are beyond unprofessional!

Horrible. I was told to go to the emergency room at Holy Cross after visiting Urgent Care due to a kidney stone problem. While the intake staff/nurses were professional and quick, the emergency room experience was awful. I went in with abnormal test readings, and it was recommended I have an ultrasound (from Urgent Care). At the emergency room, I was told that ultrasounds are expensive, this was probably an overreaction, and that I should have a saline drip (mind you - I was nauseous and had some mild abdominal pain). I eventually received a saline drip, no ultrasound, and after blood work, my readings were still abnormal. Regardless, 7 HOURS LATER (much of it just waiting) I was told to go home and hydrate. While waiting, I asked for a cup of water. 45 MINUTES LATER I had to walk out into the hallway in my gown, and ask for a cup, which one of the other nurses on staff was nice and compassionate enough to provide me, right away. You know what was quick? After I was given my discharge paperwork, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES LATER, someone comes scurrying in with a clipboard asking for the $200 co-pay - AND the needle for my IV DRIP WAS STILL IN MY ARM!! If I had seen the other reviews before, I wouldn't have come here. My suggestion to you - DON'T.

I had a major surgery here and felt like I received the best treatment and care possible. The nurses and staff were tentative, responsive to problems and concerns and made sure to answer all of my questions. I seems they took feedback/complaints and have responded based on the services they provide. The food was better than expected & dinning staff came to visit to check on the quality. The nurses were wonderful and gave me tips on healing and made sure I followed the doctors orders. I want to especially thank the CNA's especially the young African-American male CNA; he went above and beyond to help when the nurses got busy. I am very pleased with the service, care and support I received. Thank you thank you thank you to the team.

I gave a star because I needed to write this review. This hospital killed my perfectly healthy sister in law in childbirth by not doing an emergency c section when they discovered she had a stillborn!!!!! Believe you me Holy Cross - you have not heard the last from me or our family. I work in the Legal field. You will be sued for malpractice and the murder of my family member. To all who read this. Shut this hospital down!!!! It looks pretty but has NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE.

This is a terrible hospital I'm a 15 year old that runs cross country and I tried to tell the doctors the I had shin splints and then my doctor said they could be stress fractures but the nurse didn't even know what any of that is saying that I'm using big words and then they did nothing to help at all not even take a x-ray I should have gone to children hospital.

worse than before. i gave birth to my first baby three years ago. at that time, the hospital was nice. and when I have my second baby, i still choose this hospital. but I was so disappointed this time. the nurse seems really really busy. they never come on time when you need help. and the nurse did not come around 2 hours but 4 hours or more. and sometimes did nothing but just shown up.

Reporting this hospital to all news outlets due to poor care & doctors neglecting their patients. My girlfriend could ve died in their care and no more cared nor did anything. I hate this hospital and someone needs to investigate this hospital and their staff!!!! @fox5News

This hospital has the worst ER. I was in the waiting room for 5 hours. I came at 3:00am and I was seen by a nurse not a Doctor at 8:00am. I had a severe abdominal pain. The front desk people are rude, they should treat patients with kindness. The front girl was using her cell phone all morning.
They have mixed the papers, people who came after were seen first. I have come to this hospital before, and I have always paid my medical bills so I don't owe them a penny.
After waiting 5 hours they sent me to Express care and I was seen by a nurse. She kept me there for another 2 hours. She gave me some medicine that it did not treat my pain. She prescribed tylenol and pepcid.
I was not seen by a Doctor and I am still with pain. I called the nurse to let her know that I was still with pain. She said that I should go to any emergency place. WTF

We just had a baby there. The nurses were great - caring and supportive.

Everything else was a mess. Its our 4th kid and this was possibly one of the worst experiences. Again not the nurses - just everything else.

My wife and I arrived on time for a scheduled surgery and from the front door guard, custodial staff, receptionist, nursing staff, everone did their jobs in an efficient and personable manner.kudos to the staff for a job well done.

My mom didn't last a month after her surgery. She was doing well in the hospital but they kicked her out way too fast and she died of complications shortly after. She had an inflamed gallbladder which they missed and she had to return to the hospital and they kicked her out again way too fast. She could walk before her surgery but couldn't walk after. Yet they told her the it was successful. Incompetent nurses visited her weekly but why didn't they hospitalise her? Yearly visits to kaiser doctors and many other doctors and they all did not detect she had cancer. And I highly doubt cancer killed her, it was something to do with the procedures she had. Liver function was fine. And other hospitals (john hopkins for example) said their patients rarely need colostomy bags and their surgeons are able to remove the tumor but not this hospital's surgeons. They still use outdated technology and surgical techniques. The kaiser gp prescribed her antibiotics for her cancer symptoms when she had cancer and went to the doctor office. Don't send your loved ones here, they will kill them. Don't get kaiser insurance, you're options will be severely limited. John Hopkins is your best bet if you live in Maryland.

This has to be... the most... RUDE and non communicative establishment I've ever dealt with.
My mom was sent to the ER with a horrible blood infection and since she left in a rush in an ambulance, couldn't take her cell phone. Getting in contact with her to find out her status and even speak to a nurse was HELL.
She's being released today after 3 days and I've been hung up on more than 10 times since she's been admitted. My dad even went there and tried to find out what's happening, and I understand covid restrictions are in place, but they treated him like an animal.
I hope to NEVER be admitted here, and I hope and pray that you don't either.

Wonderful Experience! I can't express the gratitude I feel for Dr. Block, Dr. Uddeen and their maternity team at Holy Cross. After a very difficult delivery and overall birth experience two years ago I was scared to death this time around. From arriving at the hospital until the end of my stay the Holy Cross maternity team walked me through every aspect of how the delivery would go, answered my questions and went out of their way to ease my anxiety. Dr. Uddeen is an amazing anesthesiologist, she has a very caring bedside manner and took the time to listen to my concerns. The nurses were all attentive and quick to make sure our needs were always met. Dr. Block talked to me throughout surgery and kept me informed from beginning to end. Excellent Team, Excellent Care!

I came in to the 'Express Care'/ER with symptoms of internal bleeding three and a half hours ago. Half an hour ago they took me back for labs, stuck an IV port in my arm and sent me back to the waiting room saying I should have a room soon.

The waiting room is filthy and un-tended to; dirty tissues between the cushions and littering the floor.

A girl threw up in a trash can on the other side of the waiting room, and I'm certain I haven't seen anyone go over to change the liner.

The staff that I interacted with face-to-face were all kind and friendly, but human interaction can't have accounted for more than ten minutes of the six hours I've been here.

I had my insurance information taken, but have waited at least half an hour since then to receive my discharge papers and have this dang iv portal taken out of my arm.

I should've taken my chances and just stayed home.

This hospital needs to be shut down or change administration. This is the fourth time a family member and myself comes to give birth and they leave you in triage for over 6 hours where they basically put you in a monitor and IV,, and leave you with the excuse that there are no rooms available for you to give birth in. The nurses in triage don t want to be bother with questions and just say to wait for your doctor. Which are never around.
If your hospital can t take the demand STOP being greedy $$$ and admitting patients that you know you don t have the space for.
And also train your employees to have customer service skills.
I can t wait for another hospital to open up near me, so that I won t have to step foot in that place.
WARNING! If you are expecting please save the pain and the bad experience. As a MOTHER I tell you the experience won t be a nice one.
Same thing has happened with way too many people in my family and everyone that I ask tells me the same thing.
This hospital is just taking advantage that there aren t many options available in the DMV
But do your research and find a place where they ll treat you as a human being.

Came at 11:30pm i the ambulance waited in the emergency room for like 1 hour then they took the blood test and XR and like always they too busy blahh blahh theres no beds available so they took us back to the waiting area said it will take like 1 hour for the results and they will call us ... well at 3:30 I got tired of waiting and went to the front desk to make a complain they immediately give us a room and while we where on our way to our room more than half beds where empty I told the lady I see how bussy you guys are that theres no empty beds and people waiting all uncountable and she responded with a nasty attitude and walk away saying who knows what......

The worst possible hospital I ve ever been to. I got my labs done at 8 am. 12 o clock I still heard nothing. On top of that some of my labs were left sitting on the counter the entire 4 hours and when I asked, my attending nurse said it s fine.
I finally went to ask my nurse about any updates and she completely ignored me until another nurse had to ask if I needed help with anything. The lack of care show no by staff is crazy. I ended up leaving and going to urgent care.

I went to the emergency room. One nurse called me by my first name (even though I am twice her age very disrespectful!). Another nurse gave me wrong medical advice (I made the mistake of asking). After speaking to the doctor, I got the correct information. Also, the doctor was respectful, helpful and compassionate. I felt better after speaking to him.

Worst experience ever. Nurse at the front desk as the worst attitude ever. Waited 2 hours still waitin and the people who came in before and after are gone. Nurse couldn't decide if the waiting time or emergency got you back quicker. Ridiculous wait time.

I had the worst experience visiting Holy Cross Hospital yesterday. I got to the ER at 5:30 pm, took an EKG, did an x-ray, and had blood work done. I waited for 5 and a half hours, was then taken to a room and there was still no doctor to see me. I left at 10:25 pm because I still had not been seen by a doctor and had not received any treatment. This was the worst experience of my life. I will never go back to Holy Cross. The nurses were not nice. This review does not even deserve a star. Holy Cross get it together. Try to treat patients with respect and dignity.

Very courteous and professional staff, I loved the way they treated my disabled son with care and love. Dr Huffman and his staff excels in knowledge, medical practice and patient psychology. One of the best hospitals in the region per our experience.

With respect to the vaccine rollout Holy Cross is crushing it. Very clear communication before the appointment. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The whole process start to finish was well organized and streamlines. Very impressed. Was hearing nightmare stories of people waiting outside in the cold for hours.

Couldn t be happier with my experience. Thank you.

I hate holy cross! I m still now sitting down in this ER with my 10month old son with a high grade fever and it s been 2 hours and we haven t been called and this Triage Nurse Olubusi marked my son s case as non urgent and she is just rude when I m saying about my son s symptoms!!!!!! And it s the first time my son cried because she inserted the thermometer rectally with no care at all! I would give this hospital no star at all!!!!!

The treatment I experienced during my week stay was excellent. The nurses went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable n taken care off . Ryann, Marie, Christina, Allie, Lauren and Cristina at HRPC department and Nikki, Erikka, Sarah, Paige and Carol from Labor and Delivery were amazing n I wish I could have let them know n thank them for all their help.

Holly Cross!!.... PITIFUL!!!.... SHAME ON YOU!!! You are about to ruin my excellent credit. I have been trying to talk to someone in accounting to get it fixed. I can't even get someone to answer the phone there. Even tho you do not deserve to get paid after the humiliation I went thru at this horrible hospital An experience I will never forget after sleeping in my own pee, a gown full of blood that came from my I.V coming out since I couldn't get anyone to help me to the bathroom, being told I was going to become an addict for requesting the pain medication the doctor prescribed every two hours for pain and got whenever they had time. my fiancee being asked to empty my urine. Not to mention the nurse from india that gave me my discharging papers that when I asked her a question she rudely replied to read the discharge papers. Right! That's exactly what patients do when getting out of surgery on pain meds already, Seriously???......Really?? Never getting a call light. Wow still got a $8700 dollar bill which my insurance is paying 80 percent of if I can get someone on the damn phone!! I will forever remember your lack of respect for me as a patient if not as a human being. I truelly wish i would have gone elsewhere.

VERY good children's hospital. We came in with a non-life threatening issue but still important and stayed there from Thursday to Monday. Only mom stayed in the hospital (stepdad was away on business) and she found the couch worked as bed nicely and was able to sleep some. The food from the cafeteria was very good, and we appreciated the wide menu variety.

I made a review but I didn t see it. Like I said my coworker died from a blood clot in feb 2017 from simple ovary cyst removal surgery. Ppl don t die from that type of surgery. Don t go here!! Nobody is going to contact you. You did enough damage. I don t want anybody to lose a love one left in the hands of negligence. I hope you go out of business for what you did!!! You idiots!!!

I would give ZERO stars if I could! I have been to...

I would give ZERO stars if I could! I have been to the ER at Holy Cross three times in the past month and a half with constant severe stabbing pain in my upper abdominal area and stomach. I waited two hours this morning just to get a bed, and then I waited an additional THREE HOURS just to be seen by a doctor for my unbearable pain! Although (most of) the nurses and the one physician s assistant I have interacted with were understanding and empathetic, the doctors have been TERRIBLE, particularly Dr. Anuj Shah. Dr. Shah was condescending and asked me several times why I had not filled my prescriptions from prior ER visits, even though I had a car and could (presumably) afford gas and car insurance. Well, my boyfriend and I just moved to MD from TN, my new job doesn t begin until August 6th, my grandfather is helping me with car insurance until I get paid next month, and my boyfriend s parents filled my car tank up so that I could get around for my job training. Not only that, I have NO MONEY and I *just* signed up for Medicaid. What am I supposed to do on a weekend without pain prescriptions when I am in the most pain I have ever felt in my life?! THE ER WAS MY ONLY CHOICE! If I ever have to go to the ER in the future, I will drive further away to find a better place than this. I will never come back to this hospital again!

I was so upset by my ER visit to HCGH. At the time I was in so much pain, I'm not sure it registered how horrible it was, but I can't stop thinking about it now. I arrived via ambulance in excruciating pain. I have a chronic autoimmune disease and was having upper GI muscles spams that had spread to include my entire body, making it seem like I was having seizures. During these flares I also have problems with body temperature and my skin becomes hyper sensitive. I was bullied by the triage attendant (not a nurse) immediately. She told me that the bed didn't move and I would have to get up and walk if I wanted help. She also told me that it was my fault that I was in pain because I needed to control my breathing! As if I hadn't tried that! She continued to state information that was flat-out incorrect as well (you're hands are clamping because you're not taking deep breathes...when my hands are cramping because I am having uncontrollable spasms). No help was offered and my friend waited with me for 3 hours while I shivered, screamed, and dry-heaved on a triage table. Blood was drawn and then set aside....the tests were never ran! Luckily, my friend was there to get me a bucket and cover me with coats while we waited. She eventually had to bring the blood samples to someone and ask why no one had even checked on us. The nurse was rude and short, saying she had a bed and then waited (I wasn't aware of her even asking me to move). She announced again that she had a bed and just stood there. My friend asked if they could get a wheelchair because I couldn't walk and the nurse went off in a huff. Once I asked for specific medications and a warm blanket, I began to feel better, but I had to tell them exactly what to give me. I understand that hospitals are busy, but I am appalled at how I was treated. I have worked in emergency rooms and I can't imagine yelling at anyone in that much pain! I give them 2 stars because the doctor was friendly and they did eventually make me comfortable. I believe the doctor was alone and the staff was not well trained or prepared. I had to dictate my own treatment by asking for specific blood work, medications, etc. I was never examined, I stayed in my clothing, and there were no tests initiated by them. Going to the ER is difficult enough for anyone, it shouldn't be made worse by the people that work there.

An awesome awesome awesome team of people doctors nurses staff down to the people in the cafeteria, the security at the front desk, all so people great. I visited my sister in ICU from Boston and they're all amazing, smiling, a happy staff that like to come to work, it's just an amazing feeling to to leave her knowing that she's in good hands. Good job Holy Cross Hospital

My husband went to the ER last Friday, in the early morning, with chest pain. He had to wait in the waiting room area for around 30 min before was placed in a room and was never hooked in to a heart monitor neither he was seen by a nurse on arrival. The nurse showed up 2 hrs later to do his vital signs and hook him to the monitor. He was seen by a doctor and hour and a half after he was placed in the room. No covers in the and we were never offered one; nobody checked on him until he decided to sign ama. I have been an ER RN for the last 36 yrs and have never experienced such terrible care. I will never use or recommend service at that facility.

I Wish 0 Stars Were An Option! I Won't Say The Hospital As A Whole Is Bad BUT I WILL SAY A MAJORITY OF NURSES HERE ARE TERRIBLE!!! No Respect What So Ever For First Time Mothers Or Anybody Else To Be Honest!!! They Leave A Bad Taste In Your Mouth About The Whole Establishment.

I went to the emergency room of this hospital today, suffering because I could not breathe and they left me sitting for almost 3 hours waiting for someone who never arrived, I was only waiting to receive primary care to be able to breathe, if I had wanted to die by drowning, I would not choose to do it sitting in an emergency chair .

The only reason why I didn t give 0 stars is because the post won t let me. The worst hospital on earth. 7.5 hours And my wife and I are still here. It took 5 hours to be seen. You hit the button to call the nurse, and they don t come for 20mins. Meanwhile you hear nurses laughing and carrying on outside of your room. I couldn t even wait until we were discharged to write this post. Got here at 10:30, it s 6:20am now. Not sure who but someone should be held accountable for this emergency room. It almost seems like they don t care if the patients have a bad experience.

Communication (or lack of it)

Communication (or lack of it)

EDIT on 4/15: Originally submitted on 3/27 to Patient and Family Relations

Dear Holy Cross Hospital,

We have been having an ongoing series of problems regarding the communication between different departments and within your facility. The various problems range from simple communication for item drop off and pick up, to delayed and incorrect responses and notifications regarding patient health. The following are different incidents that have occurred in order of severity. Unfortunately, specific dates are not available for reference but all have occurred between now and the 2nd of January.

The first was three separate instances of dropping off or picking up the patient's belongings. During the first instance, the courier was at the facility for 3 hours, waiting for hospital staff to obtain the items. The front desk was asked to hold the items with a note for when an attendant was available, but staff refused even after items were sprayed with disinfectant. Eventually, someone came to pick up the items but only after directly notifying the patient themselves, potentially suggesting that the front desk neglected to contact other staff members. The second instance was the same except occurred during a weekend on non peak hours. Here when asked, the desk staff had the same response. However when pressed further, the front desk suggested leaving if the wait was too long. The final instance was multiple communications with conflicting statements on whether the patient's belongings were forfeit, including government issued IDs and documentation.

The second refers to the visitor policy. Signs at the front of the facility stated that visitors were not allowed unless they were at end of life. However, we were notified that the policy had changed and one member of the family was allowed to visit. When asked again, either the policy was changed again or the prior visit was not properly authorized. From here, administration reached out trying to obtain names of staff members who had allowed the unauthorized visit to occur. We do not know what happened to those staff members but also cannot reach them now. Subsequent visits are again barred despite some members being fully vaccinated and having PPE experience/ certification.

The last refers to a stroke in the patient that was detected late, notified late, re-evaluated for the first time multiple times, and had changed severity of diagnosis four times. The situation as we understand it is that the stroke occurred around four days before being detected, and six days before being notified to the patient's family. From here as multiple doctors, nurses, and neurologists were cycled through the facility, it is unclear if predecessors informed the successors on the patient's condition, leading to reevaluations and different courses of action. At one point, a staff member had recommended ending resuscitation and life support. We had delayed the decision but had we gone with the recommendation, it would have been based on a false positive. We were later notified that the patient's condition was not as bad as initially thought and can't make such future decisions based on unreliable information.

Please fix your administration, communication, and bureaucracy.

Took child birthing classes and delivered my son here last fall (2016). Great teacher, easily accessible classes, timing worked perfectly for my husband and I. Delivery was a blur, but successful! I remember all the nurses and doctors being very empathetic, patient and helpful. Returning here in the new year for another delivery and feeling confident to have a repeat of excellent service.

Went to Holy Cross hospital Emergency room on 4/15/19 . ER Nurse Alyssa was very nice & compassionate. She sent me to Express care where I encountered Victor Alexander kumpel PA. who was just the opposite. When I tried to give details about my health & symptoms he raised his voice at me twice. He left me feeling like I was wasting his time. As if me giving him details about my onset of symptoms didn't matter. He made me feel uncomfortable. Plus he couldn't answer any of my questions & needed to leave the room several times in order to obtain the answers to my questions. He was rude & very uncaring.

I usually don't have a problem with Holy Cross but today was just awful. He should not be assisting any women with any OB/ Gyn concerns. I knew after our encounter that I would be making a complaint.

The 2 stars are for ER Nurse Alyssa & Nurse Shayla for getting my blood on the 1st stick.

Rediculous waiting time ,very rude and unprofessional nursing team! Instead of putting me in a room ,I've been placed in the hallway, wide open and no privacy! Been here going on 9 hours now! The IV drip has emptied ,and has been taken out for over an hour now, and I still have not been seen by the doctor for discharge! If I was dying, I still wouldn't step foot in here ever again ! This is the WORST ER I've ever been to in my entire life!

Well I am going to start off saying this I like holy cross hospital the doctors are pretty good and the nurses are too I had never had no problem with holy cross hospital sometimes you may have to wait to be seen but I understand sometimes they are busy

If you can make it to an urgent care or another hospital, it ll be in your best interest. They are quick to take your insurance information and yet will have you waiting in pain for hours and never tell you when you ll actually see a doctor. Then when you decide you can take it no more, they stick you with a bill, for literally waiting in the waiting room and never seeing a doctor. Then when you file a dispute with your insurance, they ll try to justify their robbery.

This is the worst service ever in my entire life! I awaited for more than 4 hours in ER! The nurses at the reception and triage area have no ethics and humanity what so ever! I couldn't even breath and talk when I got there with so much pain. They put me in a wheelchair and push me to the corner! I felt so worthless and begged my husband to take me somewhere or to even let me die on my own house with dignity the moment I started to catch my breath and walk again! ....The doctor was so professional
and caring afterwards including the rest of his team. But seriously I could have died with how serious my condition was/is before the doctor sees me and the nurses in the front couldn't have care less!

Very slow-poked , useless and unreasonable waiting time. My 10
Month old grandson was brought there for high fever with chills and difficulty breathing was categorized non urgent! That is stupid and insane! It s called emergency but the patient dies of waiting to be attended! Incompetent!

The workers and nurses are lazy, rude and disorganized. No one will help you. after 3 hrs we left and went to another hospital. I wouldnt recommend this hospital to my enemy. I got medical attention is a very reasonable amount of time. Everyone was very professional handling my health concerns. Saw the medical staff in a resonable amount of time. Got a report as to what they thought was my problem with my bladder. Medication was called into the CVS store.

I arrived on December 1st with All of the symptoms of Covid-19. My temperature was 101 degrees. I could barely walk. I almost fell out of the chair in the tent three times. Then I was asked to walk from the tent outside to the Observation Area. I got into the lobby and I told the lady I couldn t walk anymore. She said come on . I repeated that I couldn t walk anymore. I then asked how far was it. She said actually a little ways away. She said fine go sit on those wooden tables over there. She walked off as I stumbled to them right next to vending machine where two staff members were getting food and drinks. They didn t even look at me or try to help me as I struggled.

The person finally came back with wheel chair. I got in and was wheeled to the Observation Unit. I didn t see the doctor for 30 minutes. The nurse came in and never introduced herself. She just came in and started unwrapping needles. She acted as if she couldn t look me in the eye. She took at least two pints of blood. The doctor ordered two IV s of fluid, Tylenol and another medication. I waited 45 minutes and I began to yell for anyone that could here me. Eventually as people walked by literally ignoring me yelling for help. I had to get up and walk around the back of the bed to get the button. Wrapped around the oxygen. The nurse came in and silenced the alarm.

I asked where were my meds because I was tired of being in pain. She replied the doctor just put it in let, me go get them. After waiting another 15 minutes she came in and gave me the medication with half of a small cup of water. Literally the cups are small but she gave me half of the cup with water. She started to get irritated and started talking to me like I was a child and wouldn t even look at me in the eyes. She left out and I fell back to sleep. I woke up an hour later and I pressed the button. She came in and I asked for something to eat. Which i never got anything to eat or drink. I asked if I was tested for Covid and I was told no. I was now there for 5 hours and I was tested for flu and strep throat but not Covid. I had to voice my opinion as to why I needed a Covid test.

I finally got one 2 hours later. After being discharged I asked for the way out. I was taken out the back way where I had to walk around the building to get to my Wife waiting in her truck. It s Sunday and I still can t get anyone at Holy Cross to tell me my results and I was there Tuesday Morning. I know this is long. All that to say this. Do not go to this hospital. They re Covid test go to a third party for results and takes up to 6 days for results and if the hospital gets them, you have to call and get sent all around by staff that don t know anything and that don t care. They won t notify you when they get your results. Try your luck somewhere else. This hospital is unprofessional and far from Christian.

My sister was scheduled for a c-section at 4. Didn't get taken back until 5. They said we would be able to see here at 8:30, and once 9:00 came, they said they didn't know when she would have a room. At 9:45, the nurse from recovery had to call L&D to see where my sister was. It's after 10:15, and still can't see her or baby. "Skeleton Crew" was the issue. Yet a dozen other scheduled inductions came and went in the 9 HOURS we have been patiently and politely waiting. This was a SCHEDULED appointment. What. The. Hell. Get it together Holy Cross.

My last visit was to have staples removed in the urgent care unit upstairs. Fast, efficient, much better than that mess downstairs in the ER. If there's any chance you can make use of it, do it. There's a PA, RN, LPN, plenty of qualified staff, without the wait.

This is one of the best hospital i ever came across. My dad waa admitted there and they took care of hi m. One of the nurses called me and we talked. Very satisfied. Will recommend this hospital because you won't regret using them for you needs. They say that customer service is important to them. They were right. Thank you

I am truly regretting my decision to choose this hospital!!! These doctors are in such a hurry to get me discharged, my care is suffering. Many of the doctors are insensitive to my needs;. also, don't try to 'bother' the nurses for anything either. I went to my nurse over a rash that's very uncomfortable-- again, I have to wait. So I went to the charge nurse 'D' , his response was I can't talk to you, I'm busy.
this place is a sad representation of the lack of good healthcare now, and the push for insurance&money!!!!! I even have coverage, but the doctors have been so disrespectful towards me.
I am ready for an attorney!

This use to be a great hospital it has fell way off i had to wait 6 hrs to be seen. They poked and prunged at my arms hands and feet over 12 times trying to get blood before finally puting a painful line in my foot. Then once i finally got back there they stuck me in the hall way on a stretcher. I believe that the staff are rasict because they gave the Caucasian woman right across the hall from exceptional treatment while leaving me the hall way for hours lying agony while they jus kept on ignoring me everytime the nurse would pass i would did she speak to a doctor she gon on as if i hadnt said a thing the staff are rude cursing playing loud cell phone radios. I do not recommend this hospital. They did not try to make me at all comfortable they went about if i was of no concern whatsoever. Please dont give these kind of hospitals like holy cross anymre of your hard earned money . I think i should get a lawyer im bruised all over my arms n hands. They should really be reported.

Well it 5 stars when it comes to you going in for surgery. But 4 stars with labor and delivery. They can do better when these women's are in labor. They make them set in the waiting room. Not good at all. Waiting to be called back. I think they should have at lease 2 people to be in the delivery room. Only 1 person allowed. Not Good at all. I hope they change this policy.

Had a bad encounter with the parking garage supervisor who while explaining my problem to me, had the audacity to tease me by asking me if I speak or listen English. I was fluently advocating for myself to him instead of giving me his thoughts in a professional manner. He chose to tease and laugh at me and even guessing the country I am from for more mockeries. I was very chocked. Customers should not go through such treatment regardless whether they right or wrong.

Horrible customer service. Called in to ask about something on the website. Guy at the switchboard was incredibly rude. Had to ask him the same thing 3 times (still never got an answer). He ignored the question and provided irrelevant information. He then got an attitude because I asked the same question several times.

Called back and some woman answered. She was incredibly nice and understanding. Wow, world of difference. Wish I would have gotten her name. More of your employees should try being nice like this lady.
