Horrible. I was told to go to the emergency room at Holy Cross after visiting Urgent Care due to a kidney stone problem. While the intake staff/nurses were professional and quick, the emergency room experience was awful. I went in with abnormal test readings, and it was recommended I have an ultrasound (from Urgent Care). At the emergency room, I was told that ultrasounds are expensive, this was probably an overreaction, and that I should have a saline drip (mind you - I was nauseous and had some mild abdominal pain). I eventually received a saline drip, no ultrasound, and after blood work, my readings were still abnormal. Regardless, 7 HOURS LATER (much of it just waiting) I was told to go home and hydrate. While waiting, I asked for a cup of water. 45 MINUTES LATER I had to walk out into the hallway in my gown, and ask for a cup, which one of the other nurses on staff was nice and compassionate enough to provide me, right away. You know what was quick? After I was given my discharge paperwork, LESS THAN 5 MINUTES LATER, someone comes scurrying in with a clipboard asking for the $200 co-pay - AND the needle for my IV DRIP WAS STILL IN MY ARM!! If I had seen the other reviews before, I wouldn't have come here. My suggestion to you - DON'T.
