I would not recommend this agency to my worst enemy. They failed to manage my fathers pain and therefore my dad did not sleep for the 6 days that he was under their care. This is despite pleading with them day in and day out to change his meds. I called my PCP to complain and she said that she did not even know that he had been discharged - they were required to do this upon his release from the hospital. They never did - but tried to get her to sign papers with his treatment plan after his death.
When his PCP refused and said that she was calling the state - a senior staff employee for this agency drove over to her office trying to speak with her. Who does this unless they know they made a BIG mistake.
I was told that the person who not is supposed to notify the PCP was getting tested for COVID. I was also told by another person - that she forgot and another time that it slipped her mind. My dad had the right to have his PCP take care of him. Had this been done, he may have had a few restful and painless days before his passing. One of the nurses was so rude and nasty. She has no business being a nurse.
I finally received my dads medical records yesterday and the majority of it was all false reporting. It is obvious they are trying to coverup their mistakes. I will continue to pursue what ever avenues I have to make sure that they never forget the name John Haberstock

I used Holy Cross Home Health nursing, physical and occupational therapy services for over six months as I recovered from a serious illness. The high quality of the care I received has been a significant part of my recovery. The therapists are all knowledgeable, caring and professional. I found management to be easily accessible and helpful. I recommend them highly.

Buyer beware. My Mom is in her early nineties living in an assisted living. She was referred to this agency for home care. I have been my mom's care giver over the past several years. The nurse case manager assigned to my mom's care refused to let me know when she was coming out to do the initial assessment. After she met with my mom I was told that my mom didn't want her family involved with her care. There were not any witnesses to my mom making that statement. We would have to take the nurse's word for it. Mom vehemently denied making that statement. They would continue to make unannounced visits sometimes asking for her signature when no one was present. Mom is oriented, but has short term memory loss. That requires someone looking after her best interests (other than a home care nurse) to help her make informed decisions. Finally, we got a referral from my mom's insurance company to another agency. Even then, a staff member from Holy Cross Home Care told me that they could not discharge her because it wasn't my mom's decision. Huh? We were lucky to breakaway. Consider.another home care agency if anyone refers you to this one.

My family and I were very happy with the care given to my father in his last weeks. Under the care of Dr. Berroa-Garcia and the team of hospice nurses, my dad passed away peacefully at home as was his wish. We asked a lot of questions and made many phone calls to the hotline and each time a team member always helped us answer the questions and resolve the issues. Dr. Berroa-Garcia was incredibly patient and kind in addressing all of our concerns. The nurses were not only professional but friendly as well. Everyone who came to see my father and check on my mother were always respectful and dutiful about wearing their PPE due to the pandemic. We are grateful for the wonderful care.
