Holiday Inn Express, UAE Review

Excellent service. Room is spacious, clean and well equipped. A bargain with included breakfast, shuttles and wifi.

Good place not great. If only for one night then it's fine cause it's cheaper than others. You get what you pay for i guess.

Hotel is cleaner than when have stayed at crowne plaza, service was excellent & king suite was great! Will stay again only complaint was no expresso machine in room

Because of the proximity to the airport we had booked the Holiday Inn express for one night. That is exactly why it was built years ago. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly. Only overall the house is getting a bit old. However, we found it particularly unfortunate that the airport cannot be reached on foot, even though the house is within sight of the departure hall. The road cannot be crossed. You absolutely need the shuttle bus, which also has to go far. From this point of view, the hotels a little further away from the airport are just as good an alternative. The Holiday Inn Express has no location advantage. Too bad.

Beware! This hotel is a fraud. It's not accessible by foot from the airport (as told by the reception on the phone), and they failed to provide the shuttle for 1.5hour! This didn't stop them from charging my account.

Very busy and slightly worn and grubby, but a convenient place to stop over. It would be nice better if there was a bridge or walkway to the airport and not have to wait up to 30 minutes for a bus to take you a stone's throw away from the airport.

After waiting one hour for the hotelbus, wrong room. But the room we seot in was good and breakfeast too. And would stay there again for a short time

Poor wifi in 4th floor , booring T.V. if not arab , flood on my small fridge , no water pressure in shower , slow pipes in sink .....

Really disappointed with this hotel. I was fast asleep and at 1:30am I had house keeping come in to my room and give me the fright of my life. When I phoned the front desk I was told that they came into the incorrect room. Really unprofessional. Breakfast very average. Location is great if using the airport. Shuttle service is good.

We were transferred from the airport to the hotel because of the cancellation of the sudden flight from Dubai. The nearest flight was the back. The receptionists told us ten minutes and your room was ready and your agent took two to three hours without explaining the reason for the delay.

Very poor service for a holiday inn express. Rude staff and very unprofessional in the reception a lady answered my call and I had a very simple request and she was not helpful at all and hung up the phone on my face. Very disappointing and will not come back. Discussing to be honest. Don t book here

Plenty of rooms to booked for a stay and it is near to airport. Food is also available and function rooms are wide to have a party.

The most interesting thing about this hotel is that it is next to the airport, ideal to rest ai you have a long stopover in Dubai. Minimarket 24 hours.

Don't judge this hotel by it's room prices. Although cheaper than most, the cleanliness, staff, bar, and food are all very good. I give it 4, just because when I flew into Dubai, they gave my room to someone else, so I had to wait til they could clean another room. You could tell it was rushed, because there was still some trash left behind. Other than that, I'll still stay here.

Just 10 minutes drive from airport, they have a shuttle service which runs at 15 and 45 past the hour from Terminal 3. Decent size rooms with excellent breakfast. You get more than you pay. Highly recommended.

The hotel is nice enough, the rooms lacked a bit, the breakfast was phenomenal, the staff was friendly, the internet was nearly worthless and the shuttles to the airport were very unreliable.

Good hotel, very close to the airport. Perfect for short stay or layover. They have shuttle from airport both terminals which is a big plus. For a 2 star hotel the rooms are neat and equipped. Staff are friendly and well mannered. Tour desk is great and have all the local tours at great price, they also accept dollars. Kudos!

This hotel has fantastic service. I came early to the hotel and like they allowed me to check in hours before my check in time. Room service is too good. Also this hotel provides so many variety for breakfast.

There was no cold water in the bathroom, only hot water. The water was so hot that I couldn't take a shower. The hotel staffs weren't able to fix the problem, then they lie to me that the cold water come directly from the outside, and the outside was hot, that's why "cold water" was so hot.

Absolutely recomended as my stay here was a most comfortable and the hospitality was professional.

This is your typical holiday inn express. Cheap clean accommodation with breakfast included. Free shuttle pick/drop off at airport.free wifi.good quiet rooms with comfy beds.Again if you can stay at the express anywhere then do so. 25 min cab to main attractions for 40/50D.

Very nice place. Only comment/suggestion is put additional room boy/housekeeping each and every floor because before they arrived my room for cleaning services its already late in the afternoon. I noticed you only have 1 room boy/housekeeping each floor. But over-all experience is very good.

Not a bad hotel, pretty close to the airport. Got there unpacked & wanted a Nice cold G+T. As we were traveling with 2 kids we were ushered out even though no customers were in there. Anyway it stunk of damp cigar/cigarette Ash. Went to the restaurant instead & we could not fault the food - it was delicious.
We went to the disabled Toilet across from the restaurant. My son could hardly reach the tap let alone the soap dispenser. And I m thinking they ve got the rail to help get a disabled person on to the toilet, but they can reach up to was their hands? Maybe lower the sink so they can achieve this or maybe some antibacterial soap?

The best place to stay after arriving late evening or before departing early morning. They have comfortable well soundproofed rooms, and a shuttle bus to and from the airport every 30 minutes. The price is almost always good, and ICH members get a better rate too. Breakfast and newspapers are included, and they will prepare a breakfast takeaway if you check-out before the restaurant opens. Service has always been friendly & efficient.
It's also a short walk to the nearest metro station, so easy to get to the rest of Dubai from the hotel too.

The Hotel is cozy well located. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy.Near the Dubai International Airport offers shuttles every 30 minutes to the airport.

The hotel is in a good position if you are staying overnight or two nights.

The transfer from airport to hotel and back is every half hour and was always on time.

Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are excitable however the chose and quality for breakfast was poor, in fact breakfast was low in quality and and I preferred the quality of breakfast at the hotel next door

Staff all around worked well and I found them always helpful.

If sent in the morning it is given back late that day, in fact too late as it arrives after 2030 which is too late if you have an early flight as I do having to be up at 3am.

This is a management issue and should be locked into by management.

Just good enough rooms with some basic amenities with nothing to write home about. Check in can be long as multiple people arrive at once on the shuttle. Though the check in lady Michelle was pleasent. The a la carte dinner from bar menu was a disaster, small quarter piece of white bread toasted on a single side with soggy other side soaked in vinegar. Salmon which is already turning gray and tasted really off. It's nauseating to even think about it, left it almost all untouched. Cost cutting can be extereme in rooms as there are no soap bars at all, for anything else the guest is expected to contact the checkin desk. TV is grainy and primarily shows the local channels only with BBC world and cnn international thrown in.

I stayed there only one night. But I loved the hotel. Nice and cosy, Professional staff and CLEAN. Breakfast was fantastic with many verities. Airport Shuttle was free and easy.
