Classy business hotel on the southern edge of Amsterdam. Good public transport connection. It is promised more than kept (pillow request). Beware of very expensive parking in the garage.

Friendly staff, good sized and comfortable room. What I really enjoyed were the smaller items - ie the note to tell me to request any toiletries and the shoe shining cloth.

Breakfast not as plentiful as the Novotel down the road in terms of choice, but still very good American and continental options

Very easy accessible hotel if you are visiting Amsterdam for work you are likely visiting a company on the outskirts, so the crown plaza is ideal. Nice bit room, loved the decor and a super friendly receptionist. The loss of a star is purely down to the gym, it really needs an upgrade very cramped together and some in poor maintenance. Breakfast nice buffet selection and attentive staff.

Customer wishes are tailor-made. Very pleasant and multilingual staff. Tastefully decorated room. Excellent location, close to tram and metro. Very trendy lounge bar restaurant and the food is quite respectable. Breakfast is exclusive!

Awesome hotel
Close to trains to get to the center or anywhere the staff are amazing helpful friendly and you can't fault the hotel.

Very good service and great staff. I was so shocked and happy at the same time when they said to us, "Do not hesitate if you need anything, we are there for you 24 hours a day". That came from the heart and I thought that was beautiful. They don't just take their job seriously, they do it with heart and soul and we noticed that 24 hours a day. We are very satisfied with the whole staff and the hotel. Location is great anyway, breakfast club is a 2 minute walk away. Rent a bike from the Hotel Top. Ritual shampoo, loction etc. is the best idea ever giving this in the hotel rooms i wass so happy seeing them, had to shower in the second i came in Thank you.

Location is good in the business district, but a bit far from the closest tram. Rooms are standard for a business hotel. Most of the staff are absolutely excellent and they kept giving us chocolate and gifts every day. The only blemish was the breakfast staff, who were consistently rude.

My room was super clean and ultra quiet. The two most important things to me to be able to sleep.

I stayed for an entire week and barely heard any sound except maybe once or twice when my neighbor s shower hose tapped the tub. My room faced the street instead of the water, but that made no differences there there were hardly any traffic on the little side street.

One thing to note, I was traveling for work and was not in the room during the day to be certain if it s quite during the day as well, but from early evening to morning, it was quiet.

There were Ritual toiletries in the bathroom, which my colleague loved and said was a very nice brand. I didn t use them since I m sensitive to scents and usually bring my own when traveling.

Breakfast was included with the length of my stay. There was an omelette station and a decent variety of cold cuts, pastries, fruits, juices and coffee.

The gym is open 24 hours a day. It was clean and didn t smell like the usual sweaty gym, which was a big plus. I only used it twice during my stay, both times it was at night and completely empty, so I had my choice of machines and equipment. There were enough equipment for a solid workout.

There is a mall within 10 minute walk, I heard there was a free shuttle for it, but it s so close that I decided to take the scenic route. It s not a huge mall, but has the basics you ll need if you forgot to pack anything. Attached to the mall is a large supermarket and a couple of restaurants. I was very impressed with how fresh all the fruits were. There is also a large selection of fresh juices and flavored water. I discovered there was another smaller supermarket of the same chain a lot closer to my hotel after I lugged a bunch of juices and flavored water back.

Few of things to note:

The sink stopper in the bathroom is controlled by the little knob to the right of the sink. Shower is only half enclosed, so be careful with where the shower head is aimed to avoid flooding the bathroom, there s a gap on the folding part of the glass enclosure which can leak water.

The hotel is located in the business district, so there aren t too many restaurants nearby that are open on weekends. Sushilee was open on Saturday, if you like Japanese. On Sundays, I d suggest hopping on the train and going into city center for food. Station Zuid is only a couple of blocks away with multiple options for train, tram, or metro. M52 metro line will get you to city center.

Pay attention to the billing details at checkout. I was told there was a charge to my minibar and I never even opened the thing during the entire week. They removed it with no problem, but it irritated me slightly that such an error even occurred.

Perfect rooms with ample space and plenty of accommodations. Discreet and helpful staff. We were able to rent bikes to get to central city and experience some night life. Some sort of wheeled transportation is required to get to the central city area because distance. But you're in the biking capital of the world! Enjoy breakfast with hot and cold items in the hotel for a convenient start to your day.

I ran a 2 day meeting and stayed in the hotel and the staff were, without exception, attentive, responsive, happy and chatty. Jonas who looked after the meeting rooms was utterly brilliant. He checked in with me every break time and bought me various drinks and refreshments. In addition the hotel was totally spotless. Highly, highly recommended.

Great location right along a canal, and walking distance from the train and metro station. About an hour's walk into downtown and only a 10 minute ride from the airport. Excellent breakfast and hotel bar, and very accomodating staff. Rooms were great, only complaint I have is that the showers are a bit awkward with the tub being so tall and almost nothing to stop the water getting all over the bathroom.

A really nice hotel with great service and very friendly staff. Serves really good breakfast and is very conveniently located for food and transport. Close to the Amsterdam South business district makes is easy to get around. The tram takes 20 min to the city and runs till late which is a plus. Highly recommended for the business traveller.

Very enjoyable stay. The staff was so nice especially the girl of the breakfast I think her name is Cindy and the staff of dinner. They gave us a very good service. The reception team was also nice and welcoming. In my opinion although there is the COVID-19 going on they still made it possible to have a good time. For sure we will come back.

Nice standard rooms, convenient location and very polite front desk staff. However they are let down by the rude bartender in the bar and terribly average food to go with it. The breakfast too is nothing special. At over 300 a night, I expect better and will go elsewhere.

Quiet location unlike city center. My wife wants to go back! We didn't want to leave. Stay in a peaceful place. Great for families.

A nice location for business travellers needing to be around the finance district or wanting to be out if the centre. With the metro meters away and the centre only 30 mins away I would recommend this to all bar tourists
