Perfect location, great staff, wonderful rooms and service

Beautiful, modern and very comfortable hotel.
The rooms are perfectly soundproof and comfortable. An excellent bed.
Hearty breakfast, hot and cold.

Best option in town. 10 minutes from Schipol by train and from downtown Amsterdam

Lovely hotel away from the hustle and bustle (is around a 20 min tram ride to centre). If you don't mind the trip, it's a fabulous hotel with great facilities and less touristy than central.

Fantastic hotel, great service from staff, good location next to the train station, M52 takes you too all the main places in Amstersam

Very nice & clean rooms. Very friendly staff & service. A bit off the tourist district. Not much of a view, maybe just the room I was in.

Excellent place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The service was friendly and professional and so were all the staff. The food was delicious and the breakfast was yummy. Close to the tram station.

Nice hotel for a weekend getaway. It's not centrally located, but the next S-Bahn station is only a few meters away. The hotel is very new, everything is very chic and modern.

The location is a bit outside of the city center, however not very far off. All in the location is quiet and has good connections to the public transportation. Value for money is also good as the rooms are very nice and the service of the hotel staff is also amazing. Definitely recommend

This place has the look and feel of a business district which it is so keep that as a frame of reference. The hotel rooms are well appointed and clean. There were plenty of outlets and the Wi-Fi worked well. On Sundays there are limited food options outside the hotel. Otherwise a good stay.

Spectacular hotel. Easily accessible from the airport and downtown.

Bad service. Cozy terrace. Reception does not know where the payment machine parking garage is. Parking duration (> 2.30 per 19 mins).

We stay at the crown plaza often and we are very pleased with the service. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. It is very closed to the subway and the world trade center. The food at the restaurant is very good and they also have a great veriaty of cocktails. The gym is well equipped and the club lounge is worth paying for.

We went to here because hotels near central station were too expensive, and it was much better than that. Neighborhood is clean, hotel facility is good, Staff is kind, too ~ 5 minutes on foot zuid station,

So I am a Marriott guy, but after staying in this place I'm revisiting my hotel choices. The service was superb, the hotel was spot clean, the staff really friendly. Unlike my recent stays at Bonvoy chain. Next time I'll book Crowne Plaza again for my business and leisure trips

We stayed last week for 4 days and the Hotel reception staff were great, Altho' all were very helpful but will mention Nina for all her tips on sight seeing etc. Great Breakfast and a mention for the Bar Manager who was always there at the end of the day with a Tea cocktail or Beers. Big thanks to all.

This is not a 5 stars hotel in any aspect and for a 4 stars is too expensive

The room was great, but the breakfast was poor, really bad breakfast and poor chink in speed

For 1 night only, the staff is welcoming. Directly supported by a trainee who was assisted by a manager who spoke perfect French. It's nice even if I speak English.
Clean rooms, and well equipped. Quiet area and very close to the city center. 10m in transport.

Less than 5 minutes walk from the station Amsterdam zuid is very convenient for the airport which can be reached in less than 15 minutes in total. With tram 5, same distance on foot as the metro, you reach the center in 15-20 minutes. The room is very nice and the staff very helpful

Nice venue with large rooms and good services. Used the fitness room and the restaurant. Nice cocktails at the bar. Receptionists were very professional, could check in and out quickly.

Beautiful room, great bathroom with walk in shower. Fast WiFi.

We are here now, and what the staff are doing their best !, very nice reception, and very hospitable. Now to breakfast what is brought to the room and how delicious it is !. A bit difficult to estimate if you have to order in advance how much you will get, we thought salmon maybe 1 slice but turns out to be a whole plate :-) now 3 plates of salmon for breakfast! Compliments the breakfast is super good!

They didn't have my reserve ready as I arrive one day late, BUT EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY PAYED SO... anyway they gave me a really bad room cause they rented mine. Not even a gift for apologize. Still, nice from breakfast was nice.

Great hotel for mid -range price. Easy access to the train station and only 15 min. to the city center. 10 minutes to Schipol.

Splendid stay, the treatment of the people to each of the guests is personalized, the comfortable and ergonomic facilities, the incredible foods, I love CROWNE PLAZA SOUTH AMSTERDAM

Spent 7 nights at this hotel. Regret it. Far from everything, lumpy pillows, breakfast not included, overpriced bike rentals, and housekeeping would come when I have "do not disturb" posted, and not clean the room when I was out.

Hotel is nice. Be aware if you book direct, you will be charged a 6% tax on top of the total! This is an extremely bad sales practice from Crown plaza that has been raised but apparently head office is not willing to stop...
The response from hotel management initially wasn't great, however assistant manager Maurice service has been excellent and her actions made up for it!

Long did not complain great hotel room had everything worked out great.

The hotel is located South of Amsterdam, 15 minutes walk from the RAI. The hotel is only one stop by train from Sciphool. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. The rooms are modern with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, TV with international channels. I've stayed here 6-7 times now, and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Very excellent staff, most helpful and beautiful location for walking to many attractions.

Great welcome and service throughout was excellent. Good food and great breakfast on offer to set you up for the day.

The mini refrigerator was not working in our room and the shower head holder was broken.
For this price I expected more. Everything else in the hotel was perfect.

I go to Amsterdam for work for a period of three weeks in a row, every year. They treat me like a king...

Breakfast, room and service was very good. But I was really disappointed from the fitness room. Way too small and nearly no equipment for training.

Clean, quiet, well located, great staff. Comfy bed, good shower. Excellent facilities, used the cycles to ride through Amsterdam like a local! Stayed 3 nights and loved it. Highly recommended.

From check-in to check-out, everyone was equally friendly and helpful, up to saving parking costs on departure. Stayed this weekend in a Junior Suite. Nice spacious, clean and quiet room. Nice rain shower and a good bed that could have been a little longer. Partly due to the short corridors in the hotel, little noise from the corridor. The Salmon Sandwich is definitely recommended for lunch.

Didn t enjoy my stay here as even though it was checkin time, they had not gotten our room ready. With jet lagged and cranky kids all we wanted was to rest. It took them nearly an hour later before we got our room. We had to wait in the club room which was a small room but there were some snacks available and a tv. Breakfast was ok but eggs were not consistent. One day our omelette was good another day it was rubbery and another day it came almost burnt.
Eating options nearby not that good especially during the weekends as this hotel is located near offices (so they are closed). Quite a far walk to the nearest shopping mall. Not suitable for families with young kids.
Relatively near to the university and train station.
