I love Tip Top. I bought my wedding suit from them few months back. They have beautiful suits in their store.

I love the material they have. Good quality, great pants and shirts. It's a little pricey but worth it in value. The staff know what they are doing and can really help to guide you for what you want.

she showed us all our options, and gave us top notch advice,
showed us all the sales and did with professionalism and poise
on the other hand, the store manager during our purchase pulled susie away and sternly told her to deal with another customer, mean while he was'nt doing anything. we were just about done,\his name is patrick and by far the worse emplyee.

Before my husband and I decided which suit store to rent the men's suits for our wedding from we asked all our friends and read reviews on line. I normally do not take the time to write online reviews but I thought I should in this situation because it was the online reviews that caused our decision. A family friend of ours used Tip Top tailors before and advised us not to use the store because the customer service was horrendous and the quality was just not worth the price. In the end we decided however to use them as the online reviews were so positive. I think the reason why they were, was because the negative reviews have not been written. So to save a future bride and groom the disaster that happened to us I am writing this review. Every single one of the suits, (a total of 6) were incorrect. The package says that you get your suits 2 days before the wedding date indicating that obviously they will be right the first time. 4 out of the 6 men, had to go back a 2nd and 3rd time to have the colours and sizes corrected, and on the wedding day they were still NOT CORRECT. It was so much unnecessary stress I was flabbergasted and confused because the store has been around for over 100 years yet the service at both store level and head office level was embarrassingly bad. My husband spent a month talking back and forth with head office and store level explaining the mess up of the situation that Tip Top caused, where ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY were not taken from both. We asked for a refund back for all the suits since the photos were so bad because only 2 people out of the 5 matched. TIP TOP TAILORS RUINED our wedding photos as people were also confused why one of my husbands best man's had the exact same suit as the groom. No one apologized for the mistakes made and in the end we felt taken advantage of as the money we spent was not for what was promised. Normally when you buy a defected item you return it or exchange it, they offered us $20 for their mistakes, for the $1,200.00 that we spent. Please ladies and gentlemen DO NOT BUY or RENT from TIP TOP TAILORS. If you do please know that this is what happened to us, and it could happen to you.

I chose this location over the others in the city as they were decently reviewed. I had to buy a preselected suit for a friends wedding. On my first visit a lady helped me find the suit and try it on and gave me some advice on its fit. I returned two weeks later to purchase it and the man I dealt with was not very pleasant. I told him I dealt with the lady previously and then I overheard him talking to another salesman about how he was stealing her sale. He was pretty rude to me as he was trying to tell me to lose weight and that only a few alterations can be done to make it fit me. I ended up buying the suit as-is and bringing it to my tailor who was much more accommodating and much cheaper.

I would have loved to have dealt with the lady on my return visit. If I had a choice I would never have walked out with the suit after dealing with this salesman but I didn't have any time left. My tailor was able to make alterations that the salesman said were not possible and I was able to get the suit altered by a true professional for less than they were charging. Two stars - both for the pleasant lady that I initially dealt with.

Great men's clothing store, keep any eye out for end of season deals. I have seen up to 70 percent off. Great quality and great value.

Helping my friend buy a pocket square and the employee was very kind and understanding of my lack of knowledge. He was super helpful but according to my friend the prices were a bit high but he was happy with it.

I've been here twice now.

The first time was end of August and Tim the manager helped me. He helped me choose a great suit, he took the time to fit me properly and I had the suit tailored to my frame by the next day.

I came in Saturday Oct 17th a second time and Dino helped me out. I brought in a jacket and a suit I wanted to get fitted properly to me. Dino was a gentleman, knew what he was doing and did a wonderful job. The pricing for adjustments is the best in the city.

I am picking up the suit and jacket this coming Saturday, and if I did not write another review to this one then they came back awesome.

Service can be quite incincere. They tell you what they think you want to hear instead of being honest.

Decent store for mid range suit shopping. They have a decent variety of ties and socks of various colours and patterns for an affordable price.

Zero interest in helping the customer and very poor service. Would not recommend.

Oh Tip Top, you have clearly lost your way. Every quarter century or so I go into the brave world and buy a stack of clothes. And this was the year.

Honestly, I've been going to this store since the mid 80's.

Pleasantly greeted by Manager Issa Wahhab, I said I was looking for a pair of pants. In turn, he offered a size I clearly haven't worn since my teenage years and even when corrected, provided said size for me to try on...without telling me. I had to prove to him the pants were too small by not being able to pull the zipper up.

A pair of Daniel Hechter were settled upon but at 145 $ it's a bit of a kick. A discount brought them down to 102 $ but tailoring 9 $ and "super crease" 8 $ plus tax 15.41 $, my pants come to 133.91 $.

I looked at a summer blazer I liked but the price tag was north of 300 bucks.
Not going to happen.

I usually come here because of the experience I have everytime I come in (THE BEST!). I had to get a dress shirt from the Woodbridge location, had a bad experience there. They reminded me why this location was the best! James was very patient, personable, and great when it came to figuring out the perfect fit for me! Great customer service!!! Nona was always amazing! Very funny to talk to and would make you feel welcome!! Thank you for always providing me with excellent customer service! I will only come to this location from now on!! Thank you!!
