Very conveniently located on the south ax within 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Zuid train station. Very friendly staff at check-in. Nicely decorated rooms with very comfortable beds. Large bathroom with rain shower. Prices tend to vary a lot on various dates. Not worth 220+. Everything below is good value for money

I stayed here for business. I am very thankful to the housekeeping manager, Helma. She was so helpful and kind. I got an oily spot on my jeans over dinner. By the morning the jeans were washed, ironed and delivered to my hotel room with a chocolate and a nice message on a postcard. Such things do really make a difference! In addition, the hotel is in a very nice quiet business area. Cozy atmosphere, clean and nice in general.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. These folks did an amazing job.
On check-in, they were both efficient and informative.
Free drink from my (very weak) IHG membership.
Follow up call asking for specific things I would like to have in my room, a half hour after check-in.
I got sick the first day, and hung out a Do Not Disturb sign. They called me up to make sure I was OK, checking if I wanted housekeeping, and offered some items to help with my illness when I explained what was going on.
I will 100% be choosing this hotel on my next Amsterdam visit. The location is maybe not seen as perfect for tourists, but is a 3 min walk from the Metro to go anywhere in the city in no time.
Thanks to the staff! You really made me feel at home when I needed it most.

Our stay at Crown Plaza Amsterdam South was marvelous.
A more then friendly welcome by the reception and a very speedy and professionel execution of a request regarding the room by a very nice and kind housekeeper named Dennis.
If you have the chance of a chat with him, your day already starts very positive.
The breakfast is absolute recommendable with friendly staff
Only thing is: parking in Amsterdam generally is defenitley overpriced

Close to the Zuid station next to 250 meters, no matter whether you go to the city center or the airport is a station, the service quality is very good, no tipping, bathroom equipment level, the hotel has a bicycle rental service is also very convenient!

Great hotel near a tram station. Room clean and equipped with a kettle and instant coffee. A water bottle is provided free of charge every day. Super breakfast buffet. Friendly and attentive hotel staff.
The only negative point: no employee speaks German. I think that should be possible in a 4.5 star hotel.

I stayed at the hotel in the middle of January for 3 days. I provided my credit card for the deposit. Every day hotel debited person tax and city tax from my card. When I came back home, I was surprised, the hotel debited all taxes for 3 days again from my credit card. I sent a request about it via the official website. I didn't receive a response. Then I've called two times to hotel. No one didn't want to help me. Then I've sent request again via the official website. I still haven't a response from the hotel.
I've stayed at this hotel lots of times. I will choose another hotel next time.
And I won't recommend this hotel to someone.

Stayed here for the Amsterdam marathon. Very friendly staff. Great stay but small room.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and is mig the Metro to reach. The hotel has daily tickets. It is not German spoken, but with English you can get along well here and in the city. If you do not ask too much, the breakfast is good too. The rooms are well equipped.

The hotel is in South Amsterdam, just 3 minutes walk from Amsterdam Zuid station. Room was fabulous. Breakfast was not included in the package but breakfast was fabulous. It had variety of options and quality was top class too.

Though a bit away from the city, but awesome connectivity. Very close to the train station and train stations which practically connect every corner of the city. The rooms are awesome and comfortable. Breakfast is great and so is the restaurant. Pretty good place for a short walk or jog early in the morning. There are few convenience stores close by for any immediate needs. With good tram connectivity, you can practically spend time in the city come back, rest and then go again. 15 mins to Centraal and to other major locations. Have been here more than 3 times now and would recommend anyone who is looking for a great hotel to stay over.

New hotel with modern decor. Rooms are well appointed with shower and bath and lots of free goodies. The breakfast was extensive and really delicious. The staff always friendly and in German language endeavors! The hotel is close to a tram station and a metro station. The only special feature: in the area and in the hotel there are rather expensive restaurants. So who likes it cheaper, prefer to eat in the city center.

Good bed and nice breakfast. I was a bit surprised to need to sign a disclaimer to use the gym, but the staff was friendly and helpful with sorting this out.

The hotel is new not in the center of Amsterdam but near the RAI (conference center). The rooms are nicely decorated and very well soundproofed. The selection of TV channels is vast but poor (in large news channel). The system to access it impractical (no guide with the list of channels). The breakfast is nothing exceptional. I eat at night the card is poor. The decoration is modern. The staff is very friendly.

Very comfortable hotel. Outside the old town, but close to public transportation. Good value for money

Not a great experience. Got looked down upon by the staff at check-in. Room was tiny for the price and the breakfast was a disappointment. Asked for fried eggs and the cook had no clue how. Was a shame as this place does have a reputation for better.
