I came home and found my heat malfunctioning. I tried my few ways to troubleshoot it and after none worked I needed to turn to a more experienced help. Thank God for Jeff H being on call! He came by within half an hour of calling Hoekstra and was courteous and the service provided was exemplary. Not only did he explain everything he was doing, he also gave some good tips and advice on maintenance and cleanliness, which was all very helpful to me because I'm a first time home owner. Crossing my fingers nothing else goes wrong with my hvac but if it does I know I can count on Hoekstra because of Jeff. Thanks a bunch!

I've used Hoekstra for 15+ years. They've maintained systems in two houses for me as well as installing new systems, Their techs are always professional, knowledgeable, and take pride in their workmanship.

Tim was fantastic! Knowledgeable, professional, and very courtesy. Dealt with a newer furnace, older blower, and ancient wiring to diagnosis and fix a tricky issue. I'm handy enough around the house, and he did amazing work. Really appreciate his attention to detail and quick (and inexpensive) solution. Call Hoekstra and ask for Tim.

Diagnosed the problem quickly was able to fix it at that time. The tech was courteous and explained what needed to be repaired.

Matt has worked on my equipment before. He is a very knowledgeable young man on the types of a/c and furnace that I have. Matt takes due diligence to make sure my "antique" air conditioner and furnace are working the best they can. He is polite and makes sure that I have information to upgrade my equipment if I need to too. I feel very comfortable that when he arrives that if something is wrong it will be fixed and he will explain what is wrong and what my options are. Plus my dog likes him too! '

John and Tim are two brothers, they are truly the best you can get from this company. I wouldn t have anyone else work my on HVAC. It doesn t matter what the weather is or how late it is. They show up every time on time. I ve been told that they wouldn t let my family freeze in the house even though I called on a moment s notice in the winter. The best the industry can offer 10/10

Larry Marshall has been servicing our heating and air conditioning for about 10 years now, and I am completely positive about Larry's expertise, timeliness, professionalism and courtesy. Larry is the consummate pro, knows his craft and extends himself regularly for the customer benefit. I recommend Larry wholeheartedly.

After receiving estimates from four different companies, I decided to go with Hoekstra. My experience with them was pleasant from start to finish. My first encounter was with Jacque. She was very professional and friendly and helped me set up an appointment to receive an estimate for a furnace replacement and new central air installation (I did not previously have central air). Whenever I needed to speak with someone, Jacque made sure to connect me with the correct person. Brian came out to do my estimate. He did a very THOROUGH evaluation and asked me several questions before making his recommendation. He was always available to answer any questions I had (even after the installation). Eduardo, Salvador and Ernesto did my installation and they worked very hard to complete the whole installation in one day. They replaced the furnace, installed a new central air unit and installed 3 new air return vents. These guys arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. They did a good job and were very professional. Hoekstra was not the cheapest company for the job but you get what you pay for. They are a reliable company and they do good work. They also offer different financing plans which is a good option to have.

Tyler did an excellent job fixing our furnace problem and cleaning and replacing a key part in our air conditioner. He was very tuned in to the CDC rules for avoiding contamination with Covid-19 and disinfected all surfaces that he touched in our home. I highly recommend Tyler!

Jeff was very professional and pleasant. He began by introducing himself and explaining exactly what we should expect. He did a wonderful job preparing and cleaned up the work area better than it was before he started. When he was finished, he explained everything. He walked me through filter replacement, expected maintenance and answered all my questions. He was at my home a long time and I could not be happier with his work. Patient and helpful is another way to discribe Jeff. We look forward to his returning when we call for yearly clean up or maintence.

Very professional from start to finish. Even cleaned up after himself. Supervisor came out and looked at our old coil and it was caked with dust...come to find out the air filter was too small and the unit was blowing 6 inches of dirty air past the filter. Glad he came out and noticed a problem, that they would've came back for a year from now. A+++

My AC broke down and Hoekstra was able to get me seen the same day I called. Larry, my HVAC tech was truly awesome. Scott in sales and the installation techs, Chris and Nick were all phenomenal as were the ladies in the office. We received excellent care at Hoekstra. We had a problem with our furnace. They came in and were able to replace the entire furnace in a reasonable time. Best of all, they even called to check in, in case of more problem popping up.

Hoekstra is very good at keeping their customers happy. They remind you of appointments and they keep you informed of when they are coming and if they are behind schedule. We have been very happy with their service over the last 10 years since they replaced our furnace and later upgraded our AC. The techs are polite, neat, efficient, and more than willing to show you how to make adjustments and answer questions. Great company to work with.

Hoekstra HVAC was a wonderful company to work with for our HVAC needs. Our furnace stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. Hoekstra promptly came out for a site visit, and provided us a fair quote (comparing with two other companies). Salvador installed our new furnace. He was on time, courteous, and professional. Marshall fixed our A/C system and it is working the best it has ever worked in the 14 years we have lived in our house. He took the time to listen to the issues we have had over the years, inspected things carefully and methodically, and got our unit to work at its full capacity. Our house has had no trouble keeping cool and air is blowing through our vents stronger than before. We cannot thank Marshall enough for taking to the time to listen to our concerns and working based on those concerns rather than sticking to a scripted list of maintenance checks. We will definitely call Hoekstra again for our HVAC needs.

Hoekstra replaced my central Heating & A/C to update failing & out of date equipment. I'm not knowledgable about the issues involved, however I do know that I want the ability to efficiently heat or cool my house to a desired temperature. They measured ducts, returns and registers, considered the age of the house, type of insulation and multi-level aspect (among others) to appropriately size the unit to our needs. As we had the unit installed in the fall, the heating aspect was quickly proven to be perfect: no cold spots throughout the house (a vast improvement). In the Summer we realized that as suspected, the cooling was less than ideal in two rooms due to the original duct design. It was clear that the technician was thoughtful about solving the problem. He reviewed a variety of solutions in a short time. Ultimately, he recommended a reasonable solution at a good price and prompt installation (two additional cold air supplies to the rooms in question (one each)). I highly recommend Hoekstra due to their on-time appointments, thoroughness, prompt service, attention to my concerns, knowledgable staff and good prices.

Our Technician Tyler came for our yearly furnace tune-up. He was very professional and explain everything he did and they results. When he left I felt confident we were going to spend the winter warm and safe. Thanks Tyler great job.

Hoekstra just installed my furnace, and the technician was Eddy. Eddy was very professional, and answered any questions I had. I had a problem with my pilot light not starting on my hot water heater the next day and he came by while he was off of work to come and make sure that it was on because he had turned it off for safety procation while installing the furnace. I would recommend this company to anyone because of how professional they are, and they didn t try to sell me on anything, and eddy who installed my furnace was really nice and respectful I would use Hoekstra again and recommend them.

Rob Z provided excellent service while providing useful knowledge of how to better use and maintain my HVAC equipment. Specifically my furnace and whole house humidifier.

Hoekstra HVAC representative Jonhy O'Reilly serviced our air conditioning system today. He called ahead to tell us he was on the way and came on time. He identified himself when he came and was very courteous during the visit. He was also very neat and cleaned up the areas he worked in.

He looked over, cleaned, and checked all parts of our A/C system, put everything back together properly, and then gave us his analysis of the condition of our equipment. He was very detailed in his explanation and answered all our questions thoroughly. We now feel more comfortable going into the summer months now that our system was checked out.

We have been using Hoekstra for the past 3 years and are very happy with the service they provide. We have service agreements with them for both our heating and cooling systems and rest easy knowing they are just a phone call away. Keep up the good work, Hoekstra!

One never really plans for a furnace or air conditioning failure, but when one happens HOEKSTRA are the people to call. This is my second experience with them, and they have been thorough, patient and polite to me, and have provided excellent service and logical explanations for the needed repairs/replacements.

Very reliable company. Tyler T. was the technician that serviced our A/C unit. He informed us of what he did to the nit what he found hath recommend. Very professional. We've been with Hoekstra o years now and the service and technicians have always been top-notch.

Joshua took an after-hours call of no A/C on the day I received service for my furnace check. He fixed the problem and explained it clearly to me.

I'm left with a terrible vibration and Doug Hoekstra refuses to make a vibration collar to separate the plenum from the joists. Bad judgement on their part to directly connect this furnace to my structure. I've been told to change the supports and a few other things that make no sense and I did to no avail. I separated the connection and my vibration is almost completely gone. They refuse to accommodate any further adjustments. Most specifically the one that is needed.

If you need a custom install... something a little unique, odds are you will be disappointed with their service.

I spent 14,000+ on this install and this is where it ends...

Steve- I have discussed your installation with the owner. Our position is that we have completed the work we were hired to do. We thank you for your business.

Not even an option to pay additional for the correction. They are just not interested in correcting the problem. Not even at my expense.

Just keep it simple or you might not be happy.

The service technician who came out to check our furnace was terrific. Rob gave me a summary of the work that he did, and gave me suggestions on how to use my furnace more efficiently.

Mr. Sturkey thoroughly investigated and cleaned our heating system. He identified a problem, but, did not have the part to fix it. He left our home, came back the same day, and took care of the problem. We truly appreciated this because we did not know that a problem existed.

I'm writing a review for Chris L who was our technician for our yearly furnace cleaning. First of all we had a window from 11: 00-2:00. Chris called us about 3:00 and said he was about 10 minutes away. I really appreciate the advanced call, and he was at our house on time.
We are very happy with his work, he asked if we had any questions regarding our humidifier, or anything else. Cleaned up everything. VERY impressed with his work, and that's why we choose Hoekstra for furnace/air service.

Tim Hall, HVAC Technician arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and very knowledgeable and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem with our humidifier. He then checked the operation of the furnace , explained each step and had our system functioning properly in no time.

Chris Bartlett arrived on time, placed drop cloths throughout to protect my floors, knowledgeably answered questions about the furnace he was installing, provided useful tips and information, was courteous, wore a mask, and completed the furnace installation without incident. Hoekstra HVAC is an outstanding organization. I've been a customer for 16 years and just recently purchased my second furnace. They are reasonably priced and very reliable. My furnace failed on Easter Sunday, but a technician talked me thru how to temporarily restart my furnace and Hoekstra was able to install a new furnace the next day. I highly recommend their annual service contract where a technician services your furnace (fall) and air conditioner (spring). It's reassuring to know that you HVAC units are in good working order. I also recommend asking for Jeff H. as he's been our service technician for several years and is outstanding.

Jeff and Chris did an efficient and great job. Jeff kept me informed what was going on and what he would have to do with our AC.

Arrived on time. Explained installation process thoroughly including giving an estimate of total time for install. Were very polite and professional. Protected work area and completely cleaned up area after completion. Gave a detailed explanation of how the new system works.

Today was a scheduled maintence visit and I am very impressed with Jeff s puncuality. Which is rare nowadays. Jeff Hayley replaced my pressure switch, with a new, better updated one from the factory. He also informed me of a better, more efficient furnace filter I could be using.

Hoekstra HVAC also came out last July for my AC compressor contactor pulling in too hard. They put a soft start capacitor on and it went away. Very happy with these guys!

Very professional, clean, done with phenomenal expertise! Team of experts was able to troubleshoot many problem areas and fixed the systems to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

We are extremely satisfied with the services and the work that was performed by Hoekstra HVAC. We recently had our entire furnace and air conditioning system upgraded with a 95% efficiency two-stage furnace with variable speed fan, 13 seer air conditioner, whole home MERV 10 air filtration, and whole home humidifier as well. The installation crew, Salvador Corona, Jonah Johnston, and John Hall could not have been more professional! Their installation skills are truly top notch and they all did a terrific job! Best of all, they were extremely clean and courteous while working inside and out of our home. Once again, we are extremely satisfied with all of the staff at Hoekstra including sales representative Scott Swan and Jacqueline at the office! Thanks again for doing a a terrific job for our family! We will not hesitate to recommend Hoekstra in the future!

Nice Guy was on time and fixed the problem though that problem happened to have 8-legs in a sensitive spot of the furnace

Hoekstra's HVAC Technician, Daniel D., installed a replacement central air conditioner system. He rebuilt the casement for the interior section, replaced coolant and drain lines, replaced the large outdoor unit and concrete pad (in the rain), replaced the thermostat, and performed all of the other tasks and testing required in this project. During the 10+ project hours, he was friendly, professional, and responded fully to all of my questions. He was also careful to keep and leave my house clean. I highly recommend this company and Technician. Hoekstra's engineer also evaluated my house, airflow, duct work, and proposed choices with very competitive prices, including a 10 years parts and labor warranty. I trust this company's stability and length of time in business. Others I have used in the past have been acquired/swallowed up by large corporations.

I had my AC, Furnace and Humidifier replaced by Chris Bartlett and Isai Angel. It was 90 degrees out and they worked so hard all day long. They answered all my questions, they were kind, and friendly. They were very diligent and knowledgeable. They cleaned up afterwards, I would have never known they were there. I recommend Hoekstra HVAC to anyone. Great company, great employees and great work.
