This was a very professional and pleasant experience. The Sales Representative arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, informative and patient. The installers arrived on time and the entire team was friendly and professional. The installers and their team members did an excellent job, removing the old equipment and installing the new equipment. I highly recommend Hoekstra HVAC.

Jeff & Scott were knowledgeable, polite and professional in diagnosing and proposing options to solve our rather complicated A/C problem.

From the get go, Hoekstra prove to be professional and reliable. Dave Heffron, Hoekstra VP, came to our house and did a thorough walk through asking questions to get a better understanding of the house AC and our needs and wants for an AC unit. Upon completion, he gave us many options and quotes. He patiently explained each of them. We did get quotes from two other companies and neither of them beat Hoekstra"s pricing. Of course, we had other questions and Dave was able to answer all of them before making our final decision.
Hoekstra"s HVAC technicians were courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. They gave me a walk through of what they were planning to do and immediately began to work. The work was quick, clean and thorough . They were there to complete the job and focused on getting it done. They worked well as a team. Upon completion of the AC units installation and all the debris cleaned up, the lead technician patiently explained all the follow ups from rebates and professional opinion on best filters to use and even where to get them cheap.
Not once throughout the work did I feel like Hoekstra was looking to sell me anything more. I would recommend Hoekstra in a heartbeat.

Larry was professional, courteous, and thorough in his work. With all that is going on with COVID-19, he wore his mask the whole time, and covered his shoes as he walked through my house, not even knowing I have a compromised immune system. I appreciated his work, and the extra tips he gave me to continue to keep my HVAC system maintained.

When I needed my A/C replaced, I shopped around before selecting Hoekstra two years ago and was completely satisfied with their professionalism, integrity and service then and remain so to this day.

Recently, I had my annual furnace and A/C tune up performed by Hoekstra. The following day, I went away for the weekend and returned home to find my system not functioning properly. The system was set to cool at 72 degrees and was at 78 when I arrived home. I called Hoekstra and spoke with Brenda who efficiently and warmly helped me solve my problem by getting Tim H to come check things out in the same day! Tim expertly diagnosed the problem after performing a thorough diagnostic study. It turns out, the settings on my ecobee 3 was the culprit. Thanks Tim And Brenda for helping me through this issue! Greatly appreciated.

I will certainly use Hoekstra HVAC for all my needs and highly recommend them to anyone requiring a reliable, professional and honest HVAC service provider.

Thorough, professional, on-time service of my heating furnace.

Rob was excellent. Very PROFESSIONAL! He took care of my needs in a timely fashion. He came and did his job without trying to up sale or force any unnecessary work/equipment to me. He was very knowledgeable about his job and thoroughly explained everything to me! I would recommend him to anyone!

Efficient, pleasant, helpful, courteous--and he even gets along with the dog (who, as everyone knows, can innately identify "good people"). John has been to our home several times to service our furnace and AC and he inspires confidence both in himself and in Hoekstra. He willingly, clearly--and patiently--answers all our questions and offers advice on the ways to use our equipment most efficiently. John's a "keeper"!

Jonah was prompt, professional, and done early. Hoekstra has been my go-to for HVAC after an reasonably priced emergency furnace replacement a few years back. They've gone above and beyond standing behind their work.

The humidifier for my house that was installed along with a new furnace about seven years ago by Hoekstra. The humidifier started making a lot of noise, so I called them to come out and fix it. Jeff Hayley came out and looked at it and decided that the fan motor needed to be replaced. While he was at my house and the preventative maintenance furnace tune-up. He was very friendly and did a great job with the cleaning and explained to me what he was doing as he was going along.

The next day John H came out with a brand new humidifier. He did an excellent job on the humidifier installation and also replaced the copper tubing and turn off valve for the water from the pipes to the humidifier. All the wires were bundled so nothing was left hanging. I also hung around and chatted with him and he was very friendly and informative.

Needless to say, I could not be happier with the job and give two thumbs up to both Jeff and John.

Tim H. was polite & very knowledgeable about my air conditioning, explained what maintenance was done. Wore shoe covers in my house and introduced himself before walking in. Keep 6 feet from me and wore a
face mask.

Unbelievable professionalism displayed from the service technician, salesman and the installers. Talk about some guys that know what they are talking about. That is these guys. The salesman Scott he knew the products and everything else about heating and cooling systems. I was most impressed with Scott and his knowledge with heating and air but most impressed with his knowledge of filtration. I would recommend these guys hand down over the rest.

We had both of our furnaces checked out for the winter and our tech, Jeff H, was very thorough and took the time to explain how we can improve our air flow. We'll see Jeff again in the Spring. Job well done!

Tyler arrived on time and was fully prepared with mask, gloves, and booties. He minimized the amount of time spent inside the house and was careful to maintain good social distance. He worked efficiently and was very pleasant to deal with.

Rob took the time to diagnose our problem and was very good at explaining what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. Since the unit is very old we decided not to go ahead with the repairs and we will opt for a new unit instead. Rob was helpful in making our decision.

Isai Angel installed a new furnace in our house, he explained what he was going to do and how, he put drop cloths down. He removed the old furnace and installed the new one, then explained how the new furnace worker. Isai did a wonderful job. Thank you.

my furnace went out on New Year's Eve and I called Hoekstra and they immediately dispatched Tim. He was very professional and efficient. Diagnosed the problem and gave me all the details of the repair. Great service. I love that he covered his shoes also, as it was snowing outside. Love this company. Thanks for everything!!!!

The technician was Tyler Tichgelaar. He was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He gave me information I needed to ensure the safe and proper functioning of my furnace. He was patient and did a thorough inspection and cleaning of the furnace, starting with the thermostat. He informed me of certain things I may want to look into in the future. I was appreciative that although he recommended additional services or products, he did not try to push me into making a commitment on the spot. He asked that I would think about his recommendations. I appreciated his professionalism, his honesty and his work ethics.

We had a heating and A/C unit installed in November. Salvador C came out today to calibrate the A/C unit. We had been given a window of time that the tech would arrive and he arrived within that time frame. Also, Salvador C called about 20 minutes prior to arrival to let us know he was on his way. While at our home he was courteous and respectful of our home. He let us know what the process would be and how long it would take. He was finished in that time frame. We were very pleased with his service.

Tyler came out to do an A/C tune up and he arrived on time and ready to go. He was personable, knowledgeable and efficient. He even adjusted some of our dampers to help direct cooler air to our upstairs bedrooms. That will be a huge help since those rooms tend to stay much warmer.

I ve worked with Hoekstra ever since we moved into this house eight years ago. They ve always been honest, timely and I ve never had a problem with their service. Though today was the first time Tyler got the call, I found him to be a good addition to the Hoekstra team. I ll ask for him when it s time for our furnace tune up in the fall.

Eduardo installed a new furnace/AC unit on 11/24/17. It was tough job since my furnace was extremely old however he tackled it head on! Eduardo explained a lot to me when the job was finished. Him and the guys were professional and cleaned up after the work was completed. This company is very kind and they have genuine people working for them, how refreshing!

We just had a new Lennox Furnace & AC system installed by Hoekstra HVAC and purchased through the Costco buying program. We have been pleased with our experience from the start of investigating which contractor we would choose to purchase the system through the installation process.
My old compressor unit was located on the west side of my house and I wanted the new one moved to the north side. This, along with the fact that we were upgrading to a high efficiency furnace, meant that 3, 3" holes needed to be drilled through my brick walls. I have a finished basement with a low clearance suspended ceiling which created some additional problems, making the installation of the refrigerant line set difficult to say the least.
Because of the complexity of the installation, the entire job took over 10 hours to complete. Our installers, Eduardo G & Ernesto V were exceptional and methodically worked to get the job completed. They took the time to stop and explain any part of the process that I had a question about. We discussed at some length where to route the air intake and exhaust, how they planned to run the line set, even which way to set the furnace to make it easy for service and to change the filter.
When they were finished, everything was in working order and you could not even tell where they worked in the suspended ceiling. I would rate Eduardo & Ernesto 5 stars for their work and professionalism.

Larry arrived on time for an inspection that was arranged just hours earlier. He did a most thorough job of checking and evaluating our aging furnace. He got it up and running again and gave his expert opinion on what we should do about it. We appreciated his candor and his warm and friendly personality.

Larry M from Hoekstra serviced my Heating system on one of the coldest days of the year. Of all the calls I made to get someone to come out the same day, (so I would not have to sleep in a cold home), Hoekstra was the only one that made it possible for Larry to come out the same day. He was professional and skillful. I know that I was a nuisance standing over him and asking many questions. But he took the time to answer all of my concerns. I also was made aware that I was using the wrong filter for my unit. When he had done giving a cleaning and tuneup, my furnace worked like new. He even scheduled for my air conditioning unit to be service first thing in the Spring before usage. Five Stars for Hoekstra and Larry M for the "personal touch".

Tyler was a great Technician. He did an outstanding job cleaning our furnace. Tyler has always been professional, friendly, very great worker, etc.
He cleaned up after the job was complete. If possible, I look forward to seeing Tyler again in June 2020 to clean our air conditioner. Hoekstra is the Best! Stay Warm!

On 12/4/18, Tyler Tichgelaar went above and beyond the normal inspection, endeavoring to figure out why there was water under my furnace. Ultimately he did find that insulation was damp on the bottom right, exactly where the water was found. He removed the insulation laying it against the outside left side of the furnace. Tyler told me I would be hearing from Hoekstra in the next day or so. It is now 12/11/18 and I have not heard from Hoekstra.

Chris and the team of Jonah and Tony did a very professional installation of our new HVAC system. Arrived on time and took less than planned.
They provided additional effort to keep from opening up drywall to run needed wiring. Tony took additional time and effort to remove and replant flowers that would have been trampled otherwise. Jonah did an outstanding job of routing the new piping. Neatly tucking it up out of the way. They all left the house as if they were never there.

I am totally blown away by the excellent service I received from Larry from Hoekstra. I was having problems with my A/C and called for service. I was told that they could come the same day and they were wonderful accommodating me and an afternoon appointment I had . Larry was the most professional technician I have ever dealt with, he explained what he was doing and was very informative. He worked without delay and fixed my problem quickly. Larry answered all my questions (even the dumb ones) and ended up teaching me some things I did not know. Even my wife said she learned things while listening to our conversation. I have used Hoekstra before and was pleased with their work, but the service from Larry was well beyond my expectations.

Larry Marshall has consistently provided quality, reliable, honest service for years. When I call Hoekstra Larry is the technician I insist upon. My latest incident with the central air conditioning was handled with the efficiency, informativeness, responsiveness and the concern I've come to expect.

Amber was very pleasant when I called to make a phone call for a request for help with my furnace. Jeff called before he arrived and went right to work . He fixed my problem quick and efficie would recommend Hoekstra for heating difficulties .

From the time we called the office this company was professional and helpful with our problem. It ended up that we needed a cleaning. We have had other companies do this before but never had such a through and excellent cleaning. We were very impressed how knowledgeable Tim was with any of our questions. Tyler was on time to perform the fall furnace inspections and was very professional. He reviewed the inspection results with me and answered all of my questions.

Tim H. Arrived on time, after phoning to let us know of his arrival time. Air conditioning tune-up was performed but him very efficiently and proficiently. He reviewed what he did and his findings clearly and explained fees precisely. Throughout he demonstrated a very friendly and open manner. I am extremely pleased with him and his work, as I was when he serviced our heating/cooling system previously.

I called this company late in the day to schedule an appointment to get my air conditioner repaired. They had a cancellation and told me they could send someone out within the hour. Tim came and worked on my 23 year old conditioner, He was a true Professional, He was able to repair it! I was told by the previous repair man that I needed to think about getting a new one, and I would have to wait until the fall to have it installed, because my attic was too hot for them to work in, Realllly?? Tyler Tichgelaar came out today to take a look at our A/C unit on this very hot 94 degree day. He was very professional and very courteous. He did a great job explaining the issue and resolved it.

We also had Jeff come out previously and he was also great. Very professional and made my family feel like our issues were important.

John Hall installed a new Lennox Elite HVAC system. John was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The installation was impeccable. John rerouted flue pipes to make access to the air filter very easy. The job site was left immaculate. We could not be happier with the work John did.

Our 20 year old furnace went out last night. Fortunately we have other heating systems that can cover.
But I called Hoekstra this morning and told Brenda the issue and requested technician Tim Hall to come out. He serviced our systems in the fall. Brenda juggled a couple of appointments and was able to get Tim out here this afternoon, although I told her it was not an emergency. Tim came out right when Brenda said he would. Found the minor issue with the furnace ( a leaf somehow got into the heat exchanger and caused a flair up and shut down the system) and got everything up and running. I need to replace the system , but will do that in a couple of months. Will do that with Hoekstra. Great same day service with a great technician. Thanks Hoekstra

Eddie and Jonah were great in our home doing the install. They were courteous and professional, and addressed any concerns I had. Furnace went out, Hoekstra sent out an HVAC technician very quickly. The issue was fixed fast and care was taken when entering and leaving the house.

My wife and I could not be more happy with Marshall Washington's service from Hoekstra Heating and Air Conditioning! He was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful in helping us figure out why the second floor of our new house was so cold. We had a heating specialist come the day before and paid him for his visit, and all he did was replace the pad (filter) in our humidifier and tell me that we need to install a second furnace and air conditioner, which would cost us approximately $10,000. However, in just minutes of checking the ducts in the crawlspace and doing some rest runs, Marshall from Hoekstra solved our heating problem! And now both floors of our house is so warm and comfortable! The previous owners of the house prepaid for furnace maintenance so it did not cost us anything. Thank you Hoekstra for hiring Marshall, and thank you, Marshall, for being so helpful and sharing your heating knowledge with us! We are so warm and happy!!!

My thermostat stopped operating while my mom (diagnosed with sever dementia) was under hospice care. I really didn t need another problem. I called Jacque at Hoekstra and the service she provided was outstanding.
She noticed that there weren t any openings for repair that day. While I waited she proceeded to call clients scheduled for a repair to determine if anyone would be willing to forgo their appointment for that day. In less than 5 minutes I had an appointment.

He showed extreme patience in explaining the workings of the furnace and thermostat. John installed a new furnace for me Saturday, August 19, 2017. He arrived promptly at 8, laid out a tarp from my door, thfougnand a hallway and down the stairs. Working alone he removed my old furnace and installed a new one in 6 hours - unbelievable!
He also constructed an easy access filter replacement compartment, patched a vent with sheet metal, and replaced a gas line! He was quiet, fast, efficient, and friendly. I could not have asked for a better technician!

Have dealt with Hoekstra many years and find them and their technicians to be pleasant and efficient.

I had my air conditioner serviced on June 6, 2019. The servicer, Tyler T. performed a very detailed job. He cleaned and checked all areas of the system making sure that everything was working properly. I made an appointment for servicing the furnace in the fall

Rob was very thorough and relayed information on the issues of age, and the areas of concern that caused us to decide to upgrade with a new unit. he was very polite, comprehensive and gave us confidence he knew what he was talking about. It was a good job on his part.

Amazing attention to detail for the annual tune-up. Had a recurring problem last summer with the unit, and Jeff diagnosed and fixed the issue in less then 2 minutes. My previous vendor could never figure it out. So glad I made the switch to Jeff and the Hoekstra team.

This morning, 11/17/2020, Tyler performed the winter maintenance service on my furnace. He did a thorough cleaning and inspection of my furnace, replaced the filter, the humidifier filter. Tyler's work was very clean & neat. I observed him as he worked, and he answered any and all questions that I asked of him. Thank you!
