Everything u can think of and extremely helpful staff!
So much to choose from. I actually lost my daughter at one point, found her in the KPop area !
Good place for music, dvds.Sale offers all year round.
Love coming here. Staff on shop floor super helpful. Always find what I'm looking for.
One of the best examples of the remaining HMV obvious due it it's location
Amazing as if visiting the music temple is recommended for any amateur
Place is a relic of a time when you would go to places like this to buy CDs, and as such maybe the service is not the best.
If you can't find something yourself, little help will come from the people going around.
They still manage to be friendly though.
Huge store! They cater for just about any type of music, game, movie or tv show you could think of. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
I can spend time in hmv all day.And I wish hmv could keep staying business as long as it could.Love everything here.
Great local music and movies.
And great collection of long plays!
Excellent attention :)
Excellent place to find HQ s and everything about pop culture and geek
Well stocked record collection - much better than other HMV stores
Plenty of choice including viynal
Found what I was looking for.
It's cool, there are books, CDs, DVDs, various gadgets and varied.
Want to refund for an unopened DVD. Do not know their policy cannot get refund. I am okay with the policy but the staff is not nice, not friendly. Never ever never ever go to any HMV in the UK. Because the staff is not nice to customers.
Coming from The Continent it is a true multimedia heaven.
Great music and great films to collect. Wide range, something for everybody from Vinyl soul to classic movies
Very gimmicky offers in this store - Whilst I'm amazed that they are still operating, it just seemed like a constant sale - with no clear pricing.
If you passion are the UK vinyls you must to go. You gonna find special editions that you don t find in Europe and the price is not elevate. It s a massive seller store it s true, but you can find offer and treasures if you look deep
A bit of nostalgia, but not what it used to be. Online shop's are killing these record stores..
A record shop that is now a shadow of its former self. Photo's of its past glory line the walls of the escalator.
Insane selection of movies and memorabilia. But for me who grew up with vinyl sound and visited hmv for the first time 30 years ago when this was the European mecca of vinyl sound, it was a bit sad to experience HMV almost without music
It was good that I came back to see vinyls! Lots of variety!
Overwhelmed by their record/LP collection. Really nostalgic to see so many classic and new albums. Good selection of CDs, t-shirts, posters, LP players, and gift items.
Loved every moment, staff are very helpful and are a good chat. The vinyl upstairs is in very great condition, and in order, so you can find exactly what you came for! Every time I go Oxford Street I come here!
Lots of record decks and headphones for sale. Music less prominent
Really good place to buy geeky items. Definitely worth stopping by just to have a look at what interesting stuff they're selling.
My favourite store for Pop figures, marvel and dc blurays, only downfall is that they don t have enough PS4 games advertised on the shop floor for sale. Other then that HMV > Game and CEX.
Previously had a lovely experience in this store but my second visit was marred by a rude, unfriendly and intimidating store assistant called Paul :(
Please never leave or I don t know where to get my girlfriend her Rick & Morty merchandise. Also a childhood store, always loved HMV.
Very helpfull. Very well stocked shop with a Huge Variety.
Great selection of music, film and TV. It would be a pity to loose it.
Still one of the best HMV in London.
It can be a bit cramped, and the tech and gaming section seem to have been pushed to the back corner.
But for films, music and all things pop culture, this a good spot.
Great shop with lots of things and interesting prices.
Finally HMV is restored to its original location. Be sure to check out the historic photos on the walls near the escalators. Once a haven for vinyl records, it now is home to CD, DVD and a scant collection of media-related books. It's a reminder of how much fun it is to shop for music and videos in a real store - and find items you might otherwise have not discovered.
A great store a little bit from the previous era. In the Spotify era, the plate industry is dying. But the vinyls are coming back !!!
So happy to still find hard copy of DVDs and CDs. Good selection of music too
This store is huge, really large selection of films and some great offers. Staff are always helpful and will point you in the right direction
Nice place to shop, need a lot of time for this store.
Nice organized place one of the few music stores left friendly staff
Sniffing old-fashioned for CD and records. Large vinyl collection
Doesn't the world change. Visited 50 years ago and now they're selling vinyl again. I bought CDs.
Not just music. Cinema, posters, all kinds of calendars, video games and much more
Great location but the prices of the beans are quite expensive for other shops, for example the pop I wanted rose 20 here and 11 pounds
A BIG store . . . Full of entertainment goodies . . . CD's , DVD's, Box set's, Book's, T-shirts , and lots, lots more
Went there to get vinyls. Amazing collection and they have a wide range of artists.
In the age of digital HMV has managed to keep going by diversifying into DVD's, books amongst other things and they do it well. The Oxford Street branch is great to browse and find items that you may not have known about.
A place where you can spend hours watching old and new discs and vinyl records. You will also find DVD and video games!
Still the best place for blu-ray and 4K, it's an absolute pleasure to be able to just browse through their vast collection of titles. The staff are as knowledgeable as always and have excellent recommendations that you'd only get from a fellow aficionado. Streaming doesn't hold a candle to this place.
some records are overpriced, but they basically have everything
Went here back in April so it's a bit of a late review. But it was an absolute blast! I'm from The Netherlands and we don't really have stores like this here, so this was perfect for me, being my geeky self! They have a big selection of vinyls, dvds, merchandise of a big variety of shows/anime/movies and it's just a really nice store in general. The staff was really nice and helpful, and wasn't rude about my accent, which has happened quite a lot on my trip in London. I'd absolutely recommend anyone to go, it's a great experience!~ :)
Lots of metal CDs and metal t-shirts. Best record shop in London.
Nice to still have places like HMV on the high street. Good selection of products and friendly knowledgeable staff.
We went for an album signing event, and we believe that the accommodations for disabled fans was atrocious: we queued separately at the entrance and were allowed in to the restricted area one at a time at the same time as everyone else. This meant that some disabled people were left standing for uncomfortable lengths of time.
We feel that it would have been more sensible to ask the disabled people to arrive at a different time to everyone else and allow them to finish and leave the building before everyone else arrived.
Day out at the London comic mart this pub is perfect after the event good food and a good selection of drinks n friendly staff
One of the few remaining places to physically buy cd's, dvds and blurays.
The paradise for everyone who loves movies and merchandise! Don't forget to bring enough money, because you won't be able to resist buying something. The staff is very nice and knows what they are talking about.
Staff were very helpful and nice in helping me find the albums that I needed and they were also very efficient and productive, music store also has a wide selection of albums ranging from new releases to classic hits as well as games and accessories that everyone would love. It's sad to see the love for CDs dying but I sure do hope that it will stay alive forever. HMV is definitely one of the best CD shops in London.
