This is a big store and is a good place to buy lots of niche gift items. They sell dvds, blu rays, games, mugs, toys and pop vinyl bobble heads! They cater for the super nerd/geek who love TV series about superheroes, game of thrones, walking dead and so on. Good

Really great place, went for a concert there. Staff friendly and a pleasure to be around, served fast when buying. Great selection of music.

Dimly lit and condensed, over-stocked store. A shadow of the one they used to have at Oxford Circus but they're in decline and not many if them around so it'll have to do.

Bought my vinyl player in here. The staff service is good and the guy who serve me is patiently explain which model is good for me. He also help me to keep it after I make payment as I still want to shop around Oxford street. Friendly staffs and good sales bargain in here

Decent range of records. The categories are relatively poor. You can find everything popular hear though.

A massive headphone selection for a brick and mortar store. Often run good sales... I don't normally add impulse buys at the till but they've got me a few times here

Once upon a time, it was Europe's largest record store. Now it's like the famous Stereo Studio record stores

I ordered all the Metallica albums for my husband for Christmas from this store. The young lady who served me was very pleasant, she looked up every single album and ordered them to be delivered to this store. BRILLIANT!!

This is a big hmv with a full upstairs dedicated to music and a downstairs dedicated to film.

The right place to go to for vinyl, cd's, Blu-ray and DVD. The choice is great for movies, documentaries, music vinyl etc. The choice is not so good for music DVD and Blu-ray. Three levels of music is great for browsing

I always take great pleasure in visiting his Master's Voice on Oxford Street in the centre of London.

Where I still go to buy all my vinyl, can and do spend hours in here! It's a must when you're in the West End as far as I'm concerned

Fairly good deals can be made in this big store. Good music selection. But it really feels like a "store" and not a record store, or place that specializes in music, movies and suchlike.

Two stars, because altho sending requests a month in advance of my visit regarding Kpop girl group albums, there were none. (Well ok 1. Just 1.) I was really disappointed. My hudband did find some nice earphones tho.

A great HMV with lots of choice and friendly helpful staff

Going down big time. A wander through the store is like a V&A retrospective of an Eighties retail experience. This is free time-travel but it comes at a cost for the business owner. Grab it while you can. The word is that the Chinese owners can't service the debt. Management are clearly suffering from Kodak Syndrome, a slow burning myopic denial of new technology...ultimately fatal. Bittersweet.

Coming from the US, stores like HMV do not really exist in Denver. So it was a delight to go to a store that had a great selection of music. I was looking for JPop, 90's Grunge, post grunge stuff and some other stuff. Would up buying one album and had a great experience that brought me back to the day..

They were interesting but at the same time you felt like an underclass even if you walked around in designer clothes yourself

Had to query if a DVD was included in a multi purchase deal ad it wasn't priced at all. Generally staff attentive just liked to chat to each other....

You just cannot do everything online.
To go in to a proper record shop and feel the vibes is the right way to shop for music.
Music evokes a mood and often joy.
Why be a couch potato and hide behind your computer screen.
Mingle with other people and gain mutual enjoyment shopping for your music.
HMV is great and if a great institution like this disappears then it is the death knell for music

Excellent customer service at this store, the staff went above and beyond to help me and my friend find t-shirts for our Game of Thrones tour in Belfast. It's really refreshing to receive such good customer service. Fun fact - I used to work at HMV as a teenager so it's great to see HMV thriving on the high street again.

Great to shop for vinyl. Large store and very busy. Nice to browse for music in person and not online.

Very busy late night shop before Xmas. I was after a particular band tee shirt. The sizes on shelf were all XXL but on enquiry GUSTAVO not only went to the store room.. and after some time looking found some size small!!! Thank-you GUSTAVO you made my Christmas shop a success!!!!
