February 20, 2019: The HMV store at 363 Oxford Street is CLOSED, permanently closed. There are practically no addresses in central London where you can buy CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays, apart from Fopp, 1 Earlham Street, near Leicester Square. It's really sad.

This store must continue to exist. It is more and more complicated to find where to buy new films or records. The choice is wide and allows you to snoop around and search and explore.

Far too busy, too many stores that give an Amsterd...

Far too busy, too many stores that give an Amsterdam feeling, so completely filled with the same stuff as fake designer clothes, fake caps with texts like 'baller' 'london' 'gangster' and of course 1001 different shirts ordered in China with all the glitter combinations I love London spelled. Really unpalatable.

This is the kind of place you want to visit if you are looking for all types of music, cds, dvds, cds, books, or tshirts. We rcently went there looking for a certain LP that we couldn't find in another HMV shop and the helpful staff on cite helped us locate it.

Still a great place for vinyl (I'm glad HMV have kept it in most stores and even brought it back to some) Oxford street store is very well stocked and the fact HMV has sold music on Oxford street for over 96 years says a lot!

Very good store for those who still love physical media! Huge selection of blurays and dvd, all catagorized in seperate sections (world cinema, horror etc).

Only downside is they have those 5 for 30 offers, whereas Fopp offers the same products for 6 quid each.
