The funeral home made one of the most horrific times in your life into a beautiful and memorable home going for my mother. Their facility is very nicely decorated and very clean. We were very pleased and will use them again when we need to plan for my father. We can not thank them enough for everything they did for our family.
Would like to say Anne Marie was great when I called and let her know that my mom passed away she handled everything. Especially when she told me that is was per paid. Then the rest of the money went to the cemetery that help out a lot. Again Anne Marie was GREAT

Everyone at Hines-Rinaldi was most professional and compassionate, especially Ilish, who spent a lot of time with us reviewing everything to make sure it was the way we wanted it. The setup of the viewing room was beautiful, they solved an unexpected transportation problem without us having to get involved. The circumstances notwithstanding, they were a pleasure to work with at every level.
When my father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks ago, Hines-Rinaldi was there for us every step of the way. From the moment we called the 24-hour line to notify them of my father's death we were treated with kindness. Our funeral director, Gary, was compassionate and caring. Gary was patient and took time to answer all our questions and guide us through the process of laying my father to rest. Gary made sure that my father would receive the military honors he deserved. When coming snow forced us to change the time of my father's service and interment, Gary made all the calls and got everything arranged. He was there every step of the way. Gary stayed with us to watch my father being lowered even though it was snowing pretty hard and we are sure he wanted to get on the road. He even called the day following the funeral to ask how we were holding up and to let us know that his engagement did not end just because the funeral had taken place. He let us know he would still be there if we needed anything down the line. We could not have had a better experience than the one we had at Hines-Rinaldi. Every staff member we met or dealt with was amazing, but we are eternally grateful to Gary. Thank you.
We recently held my aunt s service at Hines-Rinaldi and were amazed at the compassion and competency shown by everyone that we came in contact with. The funeral home is nicely decorated and has more than ample parking. We were greeted by friendly faces that went out of their way to help.
Staff is very professional yet sensitive to the client at a difficult time. Everything was clearly explained, our requests were fulfilled and all our expectations were met.

Being in this business, empathy and compassion should be a given and we did not receive this from Hines Rinaldi funeral home. They gave us inconsistent available dates for the wake and funeral, making planning difficult and stressful--something that families do not need to deal with during the loss of a loved one.
When we finally had enough and chose another funeral home, a staff member from Hines Rinaldi called us with zero compassion and stated "I'm just calling to discuss payment". Extremely disappointed in the service we received here.
During this difficult time of losing my mother this funeral home was very courteous and respectful. IIish Stevens was very patient with us and made the process as smooth and easy as possible. Even though the receptionist can come across as annoyed on the phone dealing with the Mortician IIish made the situation more comforting. I will definitely recommend using them. They did a perfect job with the makeup. My mother looked absolutely beautiful. Thank you very much during this difficult time.

On both occasions, Michele the funeral director made dealing with the experience much easier. This review is for Jewish Orthodox funerals only. I don't know how they are with funeral services that they are familiar with, but they are not prepared for this type of service. When contacting them for my father's funeral, it was stressed that we needed this to be an Orthodox funeral which meant that the actual funeral service needed to be done within a couple of days (not including the Sabbath). Before contracting with them, we made sure that they could accommodate this and they said that they could and then the lies began. My father was transported to their funeral home on a Friday and they asked if he needed a shomer to watch the body. We said yes. Saturday, we got a call from the "funeral director". I put this title in quotes, bc if she was really a funeral director, she would have had full authority on a weekend to make decisions. Apparently, we must have been their first weekend funeral EVER in all their years of service!!! She called and said that there was a problem with having this funeral by Monday (the latest this could be held) because the doctor could not sign off on the papers until Monday. I did the legwork for them (all while dealing with the grief of my father's death) and contacted his doctor who was more than willing to sign off on the papers if they were delivered to his house. Confident that I had solved the problem for them, I called back and asked the FD if all was good and she said..."well...now I have to find out from my supervisor if we can manage the services by Monday". Now mind you, she had said to me that the only thing in the way was this doctor signing off on the papers. That was obviously a lie. She also couldn't tell me when she would hear back from her supervisor because it was a weekend and I quote "some of them might be sleeping in". You can't make this stuff up. On any other day, I might have had the patience for this horrible treatment..but this is a funeral home with no heart and they are not trustworthy. Because we had to make sure this funeral was going to happen by Monday, we contacted another funeral home. Long story short, in a heartbeat they (the 2nd home) agreed to get this done. They told me that we were the 2nd family in the same week who had dealt with Hines Rinaldi wanting an Orthodox Jewish funeral and the same thing happened to them. We arranged for the transfer of my father and some time later in the day Hines Rinaldi called me back to say they were a go. I told them we were switching and they had put us through hell. As if this was not bad enough, they were still going to charge us for the transport of my father's body even though he was transported there under the guise of being able to deliver services that they had no idea they could deliver. It was lies and then the shomer didn't actually watch my father's body. In fact, he stayed the whole next day not even knowing that my father was gone..but they charged us for that as well. Beware and steer clear if you want a Jewish funeral. I just read another person's review from 3 months ago and they had the EXACT same experience as I did (down to their having no compassion when trying to get money out of us..that's ALL they care about). So I know that this will keep happening to others.

Excellent customer service! We recently used their services for my sister's funeral. Everyone we spoke with went above and beyond in our eyes to help my family! And they have a beautiful facility! Definitely recommend them to anyone in need, they are top notch!
After suffering the loss of my father unexpectedly, Hines-Rinaldi went above and beyond with taking care of him. My wife and I were in quarantine and my mom wanted to put off the funeral until we could be there a week later. They were willing and understanding to wait. Everyone was very courtesy and helpful throughout the entire process.

The attention to detail was exceptional. I felt confident that all arrangements would be carried out as discussed. My contact at the funeral home was very responsive and answered calls and emails very quickly. At no time was I pressured to do more than I wanted to, and the funeral home worked with me on pricing when we did not need all of the services offered in the contract. They provided a webpage for my loved one, a beautiful slideshow set to the music of my choice, and a keepsake book with all of our photos from the slideshow. These are all very meaningful momentos that will be beautiful to have and keep forever. I will definitely recommend Hines-Rinaldi to friends and family.
I was told that Hines Rinaldi offered a complete funeral for around 1800.00 from a staff member
but when I spoke to someone at the office again they said it only applied if I was Jewish! I cant believe that because I'm another religion I cant get the package, it does not makes sense.
They told me that packages for my religion or everyday folks is around 12,000. I am completely floored by this.
I'm surprised that other religions are not upset by this, has someone said something to these people yet.
I will call another Funeral Home for help!
Great customer service and facility. I have been here quite a few times for services and must admit that I am impressed with all that this funeral home does.
I called in advanced because my grandmother is in hospice care and my family wanted some information. Everyone I spoke with was very knowledgeable about the Jewish rite of burial. They recommended some Jewish cemeteries in the area, explained all their processes and answered all the questions I had. We will be using their services when it comes time for my grandmother s funeral.

The pair of men dispatched by Hines-Rinaldi to remove my wife s remains from our house handled her by grabbing her by her forearms and lower legs to move her to their equipment. If you have ever seen moving pictures showing how the remains of Holocaust victims bodies were carelessly moved, what they did was remarkably similar.
It took two conversations and a letter before I received anything beyond a cursory apology or acknowledgement from this company.

I was very well treated when I pre-planned our funerals. Sadly, my husband's
funeral had to take place not soon after. Although I had hoped mot to have
to go there so soon, the funeral home is beautiful, and I was very impressed
with the staff's interest in making me comfortable during the preparations. I had had many questions by email, which were quickly answered in detail. Sherri in particular was fantastic in her attention to detail and her kindness.
There was a Zoom memorial service, and this was the only part that had problems. I am very unfamiliar with how this works, and there was not as much help as I would have wanted with the technical problems that came up. Other than this, I was very satisfied with how things were done.
Highly recommend Hines-Rinaldi, the facilities are beautiful and well appointed. The staff is always willing to help and is very kind and accommodating!
No one ever wants to go through the death of a loved one, especially a sudden/unexpected death. Sadly, my family had to go through that experience. The staff at Hines-Rinaldi made a very difficult time much easier to handle. Our funeral director, Gary Gise, met with us in our grief and helped guide us to make the best choices to honor our father. He was patient and compassionate and explained everything clearly. When the day of the viewing arrived, Gary and his staff welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed to get through the difficult day. They prepared my father carefully and respectfully. Later on that day, we met Monica and Bobby, who would be with us for the evening viewing. To say that Monica made us feel like a member of her family doesn't fully express her tenderness towards our mother and us. When it was time to say our final goodbye to our father, Monica embraced our mother and cried with us. I will truly be forever grateful for the kindness that was shown to us that day. On the day of the funeral service, Gary and his staff, along with the staff from the church, were there to make sure things were handled reverently. The entire experience was more than just being professional. They truly care about what they do.
During this very difficult time with the pandemic, Neva FinGado made a very difficult situation into the best experience I have had with a funeral home. I didn t have to leave my home, we took care of everything over the phone and internet. She even had my aunt s cremains delivered into my care. Best service at a most difficult time.

At a very difficult time in our lives Hines-Rinaldi stepped in and made the entire process as easy as possible. They were kind, compassionate, and walked us through the entire process. Well done and truly appreciated.
Horrible experience. They try to milk your wallet at every turn: (i) they tried to charge an extra $1000 for a car procession from the funeral home to the cemetery (after 30 minutes of arguing, they took off that charge); (ii) they refused to play a slideshow at the funeral home unless it was in the DVD format and -- of course -- for an extra charge they would make a DVD for you (we ended up making a DVD ourselves); (iii) at the cemetery, they did not give the family sufficient time to say good-by and rushed us away so they could get done with the burial quickly. They only care about making money and not about how you feel at the most vulnerable of times. Stay away.

We used Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home for my late husband Ryan who passed away on December 16, 2019. Vanessa was so nice and helpful. Ryan's viewing was very nice. I liked that the small room had a separate room we could keep our 20 month old room entertained in. She is too young to understand that her father passed away. They did a great job with everything.
My experience was very positive. Even though I started making the funeral arrangements With Hines-Rinaldi over the phone during the Covid Pandemic, I felt very confident that the process would go smoothly. Indeed, the initial set of papers I received by email explained everything. I was able to choose the package I wanted, and settle it after one visit.
The viewing went well. There were no glitches. The one suggestion I would make is that, especially in this Covid time, the option of a video streaming be included in the package.
Everything was done professionally and on time. Everyone is so helpful and kind. 5 stars

The staff that work here are compassionate and they take the time to listen. Over the past two years I have coming to several viewings and one funeral and have only the best. Would highly recommend because they care.
I have been to this place too many times in my past but every time I come, the people here are so helpful, friendly, and understanding... it makes the entire process that much better. They were there every step of the way and I am forever grateful in them for helping me throw the worst of times.
I recently attended a funeral service at Hines-Rinaldi and was extremely surprised on how caring and professional the employees were. We were warmly greeted by a young woman as we walked in the door and guided to the proper room. The funeral home has hand sanitizer at the door to use and plenty of signs about social distancing and what they are doing to keep people safe. There was also a gentleman that was cleaning the doorknobs and tables. I was very impressed by this operation and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
