Check in process was smooth. Guidance to room was borderline complicated. The room had a comfortable bed but overall cleanliness was lacking as there appeared to be a stain on the bed sheet and multiple hairs scattered in the bathroom area.

Went there for a Company x-mas party. Clean facilities, nicely decorated, all the staff and people were friendly & greeted me with a smile. The food served was very good. Always stocked. Servers kept the area clear & clean. They made sure to take my plate as soon as I was done. Great staff!

Probably the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in. The room smelled, and the air conditioner made a loud vibrating sound. The gym had 5 treadmills and only 2 of them worked. On a positive note, the beds were comfy and the staff was relatively friendly, which is why I m giving it 2 stars.

Arrived to Hilton for a conference and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendly staff. The rooms confrence rooms were laid out well with more than adequate space and amenities. Lunch was prepared by on site personal and was far and away better than anyone of us had anticipated. Great venue!!

The staff is nice and if you REALLY need to stay by the airport then make the sacrifice. However, the rooms are dated and the smell is atrocious. The property is set up like an old nursing home that Hilton decided to buy and turn into a hotel.

This was one of the worst experiences I ve had a Hilton. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The room was so hot it Was suffocating which made sleeping impossible. Of course the AC system didn t work. But even if you like a rock-hard mattress and a tropical room temp, no one could sleep over the VERY loud, persistent buzzing sound that blared from the heating filter every three minutes and rumbled through the room for ten minute serenades. Deafening. It was so loud, I recorded it on my phone for the front desk. She listened politely and said that is awful I don t know how you could sleep with that noise in your room. But she said she didn t have the authority to reduce my room rate or comp my room. So much for the sign at the front desk that says if there is something wrong with your room - they will make it right . Total joke. They also charge $20 for parking. Again DO NOT STAY at the Hilton Hotel Oakland Airport. It is awful!!!

Great food. We all ordered different meals. And we all were satisfied with the cooking styles and wellness of the meats. I had the steak and it was really great as far as cut and desired cooking stage. (Medium) it also stayed juicy and tender. I love steaks so this was Hiltons time to shine. It went well. Would do again!

Well didn t get to stay there I deal in mostly cash. I booked the room with my debit card. On arrival I went to pay and the total was for two night I ask how come she said it s a 100 dollar deposit. I stayed at other Hilton never the deposit was the cost of the room. So I left. Next day I see that I was charge for my one night stay still. Which I am about to call my bank and have the remove the charge. So over all I was willing to pay the deposit in cash and book the room on my card or the other way around. I guess at Oakland Hilton Cash is Queen

Location was convenient to Oakland airport. I actually flew in from SFO so ended up taking BART to coliseum stop and Lyfting from there (best way to do it, short of a variably expenseove Lyft from SFO). They had a direct shuttle to OAK fory departing flight. Rooms/bathroom were a bit on the older side but comfortable. Housekeeping service was great. Was there for a conference, and the conference spaces were adequate. I had free WiFi for being a hhonors gold member. Check-in lobby was a bit small, but staff were always helpful.

Had a meeting in one of the buildings and we had some great service by the staff. The lunch arrangement was handled nicely and aside from hearing that some adjacent conference rooms heard too much noise it was awesome!

Hotel is fine. Bed was comfy and everything in the room worked. Wi-fi isn't included and is expensive ($13 per day) and so is parking. Breakfast was an average buffet for 20 bucks. They also wouldn't accept our HHonors card because the room was booked 3rd party. Once you include the additional costs, the hotel can't compete with others in the area. I wouldn't stay here unless you were attending a conference on site.

Although the room was clean and comfortable, about 11:30pm, someone was vacuuming on the room above mine; it woke me up and I was unable to fall asleep. The location is perfect as it s one mile from the car rental place for the airport.

The room was pretty standard hotel wise. I would say it was just ok. What really erked me about this place was how they squeezed $20 out of me for a breakfast buffet, $18 for parking, and $6 for two waters that were definitely worth 50 cents each. On top of that, their rates are ridiculous. I never would've stayed here had I not needed to attend an event there.

Not a great Hilton property. The rooms are quite dated, you have to pay for parking and room prices can be quite high. Yes, it s convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle running every 20 minutes but I wouldn t stay here again...

Okay area. Great if you need to be by the airport. Wonderful staff. The room was 76 degrees and climbing in building five was so hot. I kept turning the air down it would drop 3 degrees and then just go right by up and I had it set at 69 to see if it would become somewhat lower. The lowest it got was 74 and I like to sleep in the cold.

Delightful staff. Professional but funny too. Good attitude, good conversation at the bar. He offered to validate my parking right off the bat! Go here for your sport watching gatherings, not next door.

The bartender thought he could pick and choose what we wanted to eat and drink and even attempted to debate with me about what I ordered once it came out wrong. Waited for the second order of wings to come out just for them to not taste good. Highly disappointed in this hotel.

We were stranded due to a problem with our flights and we needed a place to stay. The hotel gave us our last room and were very kind to two weary travelers. We were only there for approximately three hours so I wasn't able to form a specific opinion but the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The hotel was nice. The bathrooms could use an upgrade but the other furniture in the room was decent and functional. The restaurant on the other hand, a whole nother story. Earnharts? Or the Sports Pavillion bar and grill? I dont know which one I dined at because the signage in front of the buliding didnt make any sense. The menus said Earnharts, the receipt said Sports pavillion so who really knows. The staff, especially the bartender were exceptionally rude and gave much attitude as if I was interuppting her day not to mention the food was cold and it took 20 mintues for a quesadilla. Will never go there again.

Room stinks. Needs a renovation. No free wifi. No microwave or fridge. When you work on the road those things make ones stay more bearable. Won't be coming back and I suggest you look elsewhere.

Nice clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Plenty of parking close to room. (For $17 a night fee, it better be.) First floor rooms had a sliding glass door that opened up onto a patio and lawn. My only complaint is the really low grade toilet paper they use. It practically disintegrates in your hand, which is not good for toilet paper to do, because we all know where that hand is going.

The main photo is not correct. This is NOT an old Victorian building. It is a nice modern hotel from the outside. I have never stayed here so my stars are not relevant. I have lived here all my life and know this area well. The main photo of a Victorian building on a quaint street is NOT correct. That is not this area. This is the corner of Hegenburger and Doolittle, directly across the street from the entrance to the Oakland airport. It is a busy corner. But the hotel is well landscaped to offer a more pleasant view. However, be prepared to take a ticket to pay for parking at the hotel as soon as you enter the drive way. Most hotels on this street charge to park in their parking lots. And there is no other street parking available. I find it better to stay in Alameda, only 10 min north. A small, quaint island city that offers something for everyone. A beach that over looks SF bay. A ferry to SF, Angel Island, and Alcatraz each day. Take a drive and view our famous Victorian homes. Good restaurants. And many great coffee shops. Two shopping malls. A new hotel on Webster. And lots of great airbnb homes. Alameda is perfect for visiting the bay area for work or play! Lived here over 50 years. You'll enjoy walking down our main downtown street, Park Street with many little shops to explore. Visit Crown Memorial Beach and take a wind sufing day class. Or kyack peacefully. .
