Great venue for conference. Ideally situated. Good venue
Excellent, exceptional and professional staff. We went as a group of 15 in the bar and cafe ground floor at around 30 mins before closing. We were accomadated & served very well by Mateo and a few others members of staff. We had 6 children and a baby with us. We were more impressed with Mateo as he was very understanding with our orders and very helpful as we had kids with us. He was very quick to fulfil our needs and was prioritizing us. He also provided some complimentary goodies for the kids. Nice to see that there are still good people out there. Also decorated beautifully.
Well located, close to all amenities. The hotel looks good when you arrive: Modern and lively. The reception is not very warm but effective. The room however was not up to scratch. Smell of cold tobacco, bathroom More
very good location for Heathrow Airport to city and good quality hotel ,
It was decent by the fridge in the room didn't work
Everything is so old need major renovation. In the washroom all the faucet is broken. Swimming pool experience was really really poor the floor was damaged water stink and everything and ice cold water. If you want to get hold of anybody on the phone they never answer the phone kept ringing for minutes and minutes. We have stayed many Hilton hotel before but this is one of our worst experience. One thing is really good I should say which is the breakfast restaurant the food is amazing.
Great service, clean modern decor, executive lounge is great idea: breakfast was excellent and bottomless drinks also.
Hotel and services are great! Restaurant is fantastic. If not for room this would be 4 star or more. Room was narrow, door did not fully open, bathroom a closet, and two people could not walk across it without one moving between the beds.
Went to the Hilton for a workshop meeting was completely amazing! Enough meeting rooms to fit more than 600 people!!
Localisation hyper pratique . Hotel bien desservi par les transports, multitude de restaurant dans le quartier.
Great food, slow checkin service. Rooms a little tired. Grand place
Excellent rooms . Staffs were very understanding as well
Perfect easy place to stay for a few days near Paddington Station easy to jump on Heathrow Airport by Heathrow express
Won't recommend, pathetic breakfast (found hair in my fruits), crowded buffet like a fish market. Small rooms, no drinking waters in room.
Great decor, good service - very elegant location for a business event.
Air conditiing it was only sending cold air.
Very pleasant staff.
Tricky one. Legendary hotel. Smart room. Terrific restaurant diner. Well organised, well stocked breakfast. An unfathomable air conditioning unit and wholly unresponsive thermostatic control wall unit. Pumped cold air unrelentingly from arrival to departure, in a cold outdoor winter weather period.
Under the duvet was cosy, but otherwise, the room was, well, what we might charitably describe as 'fresh', when in reality it was uncomfortably cool.
Overall, this didn't spoil our visit or stay. The A/C thing does need some urgent attention, unless the next guest to that room is an Eskimo.
We stay in this hotel when he head down to London for weekends. Really good central location. The tube station is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
They also have an underground car park which is reasonably priced, but can be quite tight to get in and out of if you have a big car.
Some of the floors in the hotel are currently being renovated so I'd recommend asking for a refurbished room if you can.
We've had a drink or two in the lobby area in the evenings, and it seems to have nice crowd everytime.
Also well priced for a central hotel which is a bonus.
Clean and pleasant very pricey drinks for what were very basic cocktails
The A/C in the room is awful. We had to switch rooms part way through our stay. The staff is useless. We had to get a supervisor before they did anything. They did not give us enough towels on two occasions. They ignored our request for feather-free bedding in both the rooms. The incompetence is unreal. I would just stay somewhere else. Had a terrible experience here.
Good breekfast buffet however room A/C was not working.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! Is there a less than one star rating? This hotel is dirty, the rooms have dust deep enough to write your name in, clogged sinks that don t get washed, lights blown out, missing handles and hooks on doors, a broken chair, a safe that didn t work, lousy service and THE STAFF STOLE FROM US! They stole a brand new, expensive blouse with the tags still on and several smaller items. Multiple complaints went unanswered and on the last day when we discovered the blouse missing and reported it to security, a promise of a call to us after they investigated never happened (it s a full day later) so now we have to chase them. Horrible horrible horrible experience. DON T STAY HERE.
Good breakfast queues at everything from reception to breakfast
Great hotel for conference. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Close to various commuting options and points of interest.
Had a great time here for the SWPP convention in Jan.
Just OK. Rooms not well maintained. Not a 5 star hotel in the current condition.
Good service, not so good standard rooms. Uncomfortable bed, no plug socket next to bed
Terrible hotel. Doesn t represent the Hilton brand at all.
Staff is great but you wouldn t find a room like this even in a hostel. Beds are super hard, bathroom stinks and has holes everywhere.. rooms are very outdated.
Fantastic service. Thanks for the warm hospitality. What a difference!
Visited for dattocon17, didn't have any contact with hotel staff but the venue itself was very nice
Room was tidy but there where red wine stains on the carpets. Bathroom was small.
Great location and easily accessible through all mode of public transportation. Very near to Edware road tube station. And surrounded by lot of restaurants worth multiple varieties for the hungry birds..
The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms. All rooms have air conditioning, central heating, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a safe and minibar. The availability of a full-size refrigerator, mini fridge, and a coffee or tea maker is one of the advantages of a residential unit. Ironing facilities provide extra comfort for guests. The comfortable amenities include internet, telephone, TV and radio, giving you a real sense of pleasure. Guests also find comfortable slippers in their rooms. Bathrooms offer shower / tub, hair dryer, and bathrobes.
The hotel has 1054 units. The hotel's reception staff is happy to open 24-hour guest rooms, 24-hour check-in or check-out
Went to meet someone for a professional event, it was a nice atmosphere in the hotel, parking was a bit steep, but it's London so I guess it's to be expected.
Working aperitif with colleagues at the Sport Bar on the ground floor. Pleasant and well-prepared environment, it allows you to share something to eat while drinking a beer even with many people. professional and polite service.
I don't have coffee at seven o'clock ... here in the cafeteria
Lovely location beautiful hotel and service even when we had a power cut on our first days stay I never stay anywhere but the Hilton. We are Hilton members and have so far stayed at Greenwich . Westminster Double tree tower bridge we absolutely loved all our experiences.
We had a place to stay, but I won't go back. The towels were torn, the shower curtain didn't cover the whole edge of the tub, the latch lock on the door was broken. We had the other door lock on with the "do not disturb" sign out and a member of the staff just walked in without knocking as we sat there. What the heck? She walked in a foot or so a asked how our stay was going and left. NOT acceptable.
The hotel is very bad and the staff s treatment is yet bizarre, the bathroom and room odor is outdated, and if you ask, they change the room, blowing you like you are inside for free.
Beautiful venue to host a wedding but not great when you want to make a phone call
It took 6, yes 6, attempts to get a working key for my room. 23rd Floor Bar was a minimum 15-20 minute wait for a drink and 30 minutes to pay for the round.
Room shabby. Heating didnt work. Public areas not very warm. Can't believe its 4 star.
Hotel London Metropole Hilton is one of the good hotel in heart of London City Hotel divided in three buildings one is a east wing another is west wing and a tower. Hotel have all facilities which are five star category hotel to have rooms of the hotel where the small and the bathrooms there also small but other than this overall the hotel is nice and good
Really nice bar with a great atmosphere. Lovely service and a good place to meet friends or work. Not great value for money though
Splendid. The breakfast was top notch. The staff? Awesome.
It's a very nice hotel, good staff, good choice of foods and drinks and other amenities like an indoor pool and gym. An underground station less than 2 minutes walk away, serving 3 lines (Bakerloo, Hammersmith and City, and Circle) so travelling to and from places is rather simple. If you're looking for a getaway or a good and reliable place to stay while on holiday, I would 100% recommend checking out the Hilton London Metropole.
Staff is very nice and helpful. My room was ok, nothing extra special, maybe even a bit old, furniture and accessories wise. Food (breakfast and dinner) was pretty good for my taste.
One of the most pleasant stays we've ever had in London. Great room, facilities, food and extremely helpful staff.
Staying for work but with young family in tow, the Hilton London Metropole worked brilliantly for us all
Placed in a central area full of eastern cuisine restaurants and cafes, just a road step from Edgware road Station
Everything was great apart from the breakfast. Very little choice of hot food. It's a good thing I like hash browns!
Cheaper if compared with other Hilton hotels in the city, half of the price of Hilton Canary Warf, but rooms are older and crowded
Held a one to one business meeting at the cafe. The staff were swift to attend to us and ask us what we would like to order. We had to pop out of the hotel for 10 minutes and they were even able to reserve our table for us. Overall great customer service.
Rooms were quite dated but the leisure facilities were very good. Check out at 12 is good but drinks are very expensive
Nice location, clean, staff very friendly, good bar/restaurant area. Room looks a bit tired and in need of new furniture

Profesional setup for the conference. I had troubles finding the conference though because the hotel didn't put up any signs.
Outstanding staff as well as amazing rooms but the food might need to improve a bit especially the breakfast which starts at 7:00 am and closes at 10:30 am
Hotel with excellent location. Beautiful, very clean, every day cleaning. Very helpful and kind staff. Breakfast absolutely amazing. Maximum satisfaction and highly recommendable.
Based on my terrible experience, I would say avoid this hotel at all costs. I stayed at the London Hilton Metropole recently and invited a friend for a full English breakfast. We both became very ill within hours of eating at the hotel with classic food poisoning symptoms. This was the only meal we ate together that day so was almost certainly caused by the breakfast we ate at the hotel.
I reported the case to the hotel management and they claimed to be investigating. After me chasing them for a response three weeks later, they informed me that they had performed a 'thorough investigation' and concluded that they were not responsible. Strangely, in the course of their three week investigation - they did not even contact my friend who had also come down with the same symptoms after eating us eating together at the hotel. How disappointing and how embarrassing for me who had invited someone to be my guest for breakfast.
In all, from the breakfast, to the customer service, to the not so 'thorough investigation' - a terrible experience. I will never stay at this hotel again. Be warned.
Lovely hotel, good service and clean & comfatable rooms
The hotel lobby looks welcoming and modern but the appearance is deceiving. As I walked into the room, a weird moldy smell was coming towards me. The carpet was covered with stains and on the edges and corners it was powdered with dust. The room itself was very very small (hostel size) and has probably not been renovated since 20 years including the exchange of the mattress and furniture. When I looked closer I could spot at least 10 long hairs on one sight, (Bathroom the same). I went down to the Lobby to complain. Got a new room, which I expected to be at least a little bigger and welcoming. I was wrong. Same exact room, moldy, carpet covered with stains. As if that wasn t enough I found an old toenail on the floor. I don t think they vacuum the carpet anymore (this is just an assumption). I cannot understand people still giving 4 to 5 stars to this hotel. It also does not represent a Hilton standard as well as their management pictures do not show the truth about the rooms.
