The hotel is located right downtown with everything you could need within walking distance. The staff if very friendly, even as I was leaving at 5 am. The rooms are nice. The bar has a good happy hour deal.
The pool was below expectations, however the room met my satisfaction.
The staff was excellent. The weekend turned out to be outstanding.
Nice rooms, good amenities. Nice martini bar in the lobby
Great service! Ordered a burger and it took about a half hour but the hotel was awesome and put it on the house for us :) The rooms were clean and have great views. This is the view from the third floor:
Broken shower, broken door bolt, dirty floors, broken pen on the desk, no coffee in lobby in the morning
The only problem we had with our stay were the signs or lack there of on how to use the sky walks to get to Rupp Arena and the other attached shops and businesses. We were lucky to follow other people who knew their way. It was super confusing and we were given wrong directions on how to get back to our hotel after the game at Rupp.
Nice updated rooms. Very small televisions and bathrooms.
This hotel has a few things going for it. It's clean, has a great location downtown and the rooms are pretty big.A big plus is free valet parking, which is nice in the winter.
The room and the view from room it was excellent, located in the heart of downtown Lexington
Great hotel, very pleasant staff, excellent rooms. The hot tub was in rough shape but was still hot and tubbish. The workout room was outstanding!!! Not that I used it...but it was nice!!! The Arkansas men's basketball team was there the night I was...some tall guys for sure!!! The breakfast buffet was also top of the line but a bit pricey!!! All in all a wonderful stay. Thanks Lexington!!!!
A great downtown hotel. Near shopping and restaurants. Nice rooms and decor
Great place to stay! Close to a lot of cool spots and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast there is a must!
Fine city. Hotel is dated and cheaper feeling. But safe and staff very friendly
If you want to be right in the heart of Lexington, this is the place. Walking distance to all restaurants.
Nice view of down town Lexington from the room, but toilet kept running and tv stand looked as though it was going to fall apart
This was a great stay. The location is great. Good shopping and food around it as well. We had a couple of issues with our room and they took care of us right away. Oh, and the breakfast buffet is worth every penny.
It was very clean, and the staff seemed friendly enough. Also a great location, right across the street from a Starbucks and within walking distance of a bunch of great restaurants.
Nice very clean room quiet atmosphere. Plenty of local restaurants near by.
Nice view, comfortable room. Good restaurant and bar
It was fine, but for $140 a night, I expect a lot more than fine. The restaurants in the hotel we're expensive, slow, and the staffs we're terrible. I wouldn't stay here again.
Great bar on street level. Good service. Rooms were lacking refrigerator.
Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at the Downtown Lexington Hilton. Both Summer and Alex did an incredible job helping us to set up our room block for our wedding guests this past December 30, 2017 and all of our guest gift bags were delivered on our wedding day without issue or hesitation. The communication between myself, Summer, Alex, and Hannah (when Alex was on leave) was prompt and thorough. Every question we had was answered quickly by phone or e-mail. We utilized their catering services as well for a day after wedding brunch for our guests and they made both the room and buffet very accessible and manageable for my mother-in-law. Our vouchers for the day after brunch were available for us to pick-up several weeks before our wedding and this option made the day after brunch very affordable. The only hiccup that we had with the Hilton was that when myself and my now husband arrived at the hotel after our reception to check-in, the front-desk attendant stated that we could not check-in without our identification, even though this had previously been discussed when we booked our room prior to our wedding day. We were under the impression that since we were making our reservation in advance and putting a credit card on file, we wouldn't need to have anything with us when we checked in after our reception since we were coming directly from that location. We didn't have any of our credit cards/identification with us since we had just arrived for our reception and the front desk attendant wasn't very helpful in making suggestions. Finally they let us check in because we named our home address affiliated with our reservation along with mentioning that there was a card card on file (the one we had booked the reservation with). I'm not sure if it was a miscommunication, but as a newly married couple it was very frustrating to not be able to go straight up to our room upon arrival. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Downtown Lexington Hilton and loved our welcome card, strawberries, and champagne that were waiting for us when we finally got to our room. We would highly recommend this location for future weddings as well as future stays in Lexington!
The beds are the most comfortable beds I have slept in!
The hotel is a bit dated and doesn't provide as many services as I would like, but the staff is friendly and helpful.
Great hotel in the heart of downtown. Walking distance to great bars and restaurants.
Stayed here for two nights. First, was put into room 1103. It smelled like a dirty locker room but we were in a hurry to get to an event so we tolerated it for the night. Woke up the next morning to take a shower and the shower didn t work. Maintainence man showed up, said it was a 2 hour repair and we should ask for a different room. Was then put into 1204, which was great, but the sink didn t drain. So every time we used the sink we were stuck looking at whatever we were trying to get down the drain. Not sure who maintains this place but it needs improvement. Definitely not worth the price we paid.
Old dingy stinky rooms w no ventelation in bath room hence the peeling ceiling. The customer service is no better. To make the matters worse, got very sick after ordering room service. The lobby is decent and Starbucks is close by but that s about it in terms of positives.
Clean hotel, good views. Executive suite wasn't near what I expected but still a nice hotel with great food and customer service.
A/C doesn't work, broken drawers - very sub par. Was at Hyatt before, will return there
The expansive footprint of the property allows us to take good care of the corporate business guests as well as families like a true resort. Glad you had a chance to relax by our lakeside firepit
Very disappointed with being charged $14.00 for a lousy continental breakfast. The room was hot and the AC didn't work.no working vending machine on our floor. Shower faucet leaked squeeled and sprayed everywhere soaking the bathroom. Paint and wallpaper peeling off in multiple places.
Perfect location - in the heart of Downtown overlooking the Triangle Park! What a view. It is also close to a lot of good food parlours!
The hotel was very clean and convenient to everything downtown!
It was in great shape and all employees where really nice and friendly. The gentleman at the front desk even gave my son a couple of penny's so he could throw them in the waterfall. Room was very clean and food bar was great. I would defenetly stay there again.
Had Thanksgiving dinner there, excellent food, accommodations and service
Bigg Blue Martini is a great place to grab a drink.
Nice, great location for walking to dine & drink. Rooms are large, if you dont mind feeling like you are in a 90's lake house. The martini bar down stairs makes up for everything the bartenders are priceless! Wonderful service, unbelievable, drinks, and well.. they are just the best when it comes to making customers happy. Thanks for a great anniversary Blue Martini .
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and the beds were the most comfortable beds you could ever ask for. Everything was truly pristine. 10 out of 10!!!
I have a bad habit of pushing customer service to the limits. Their gym and pool close at 11pm. Normally the hotel attendants will come in to kick me off right at closing, but the gentleman who came in to clean at 11 did not kick me off, and did not even speak to me until I finished and acknowledged him. Give that man a raise because he understands hospitality.
Very nice public space. Pleanty of light and air in common areas. Adequate parking.
Courteous staff, traffic was noisy on the 10th floor
Very comfortable beds and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants in the area. Very much recommended.
Nice place. Generally good service. No major complaints
Awesome, would stay again. 2 restaurants, swimming pool, workout area. Very pretty high end jewelry store. Very friendly staff, including the house keeping and the staff in the parking garage. Cons would be there was not a microwave or mini fridge in the room,as we were there 4 nights and would have been helpful for snacks and the ice cream they sold in their snack area, which was an excellent brand of local made ice cream. Blackberry buttermilk flavor, excellent. Another idea would be to have hot coffee and cream, and sugar 24 hours available, as it is set out and runs out quickly. (Not enough in the room) Was on the 13th floor and enjoyed the view of the square and the water fountains,as well as the far off sights, esp at night. (I sat on the window sill) Sorry for all the rambling, just enjoyed the stay so much, I could enjoy living there ! Hope to see you again Lexington! Your friends from Georgia USA!!
Rooms are clean and have all of the usual, complimentary items. Rooms don't have a minifridge like they do in the Hyatt next door. Despite being recently updated, the Hilton feels old, especially compared to the Hyatt next door. The Hilton isn't bad, just not what I was expecting.
Executive view not worth it considering it's mostly of a parking garage
I attended Bridal Bliss this past weekend with my best friend who is getting married. It's a beautiful space and very welcoming. We didn't stay in the hotel, but the areas we did see were clean and neat. I'm definitely hoping to attend future events here!
Awesome location - in the heart of downtown overlooking the Triange Park! And great restuarants all around. What more could one ask. The hotel is great! Staff is very welcoming and service is prompt.
Wonderful customer service! I had to modify my reservation and the representative, Diana, went above and beyond to help me. We have stayed in this hotel more than once and have been extremely pleased with the whole experience.
Rooms always clean. Staff is always very helpful. Great location in Lexington. Great service. Busy but quiet for good night's rest.
A wonderful venue for a wedding reception. Bartender Chris made a top notch Tom Collins.
The hosted the KSDAR state conference and everything was perfect. So many rooms and airwalls and moving platforms, all without a hitch. Their art is wonderful and the beds, comfy.
Dropped by for drinks at the bar. Good service and atmosphere. Great location. I'd recommend it if you're downtown and looking for a place to stop by for a couple of drinks.
