Called front desk at 7 pm to get another blanket and it never came. Sofa bed is very very uncomfortable. For the price you pay you would expect better service and comfort.
Noise from street on the 14th floor.

The hotel has a great central location. Staff from valet, to front desk to maintaince (had minor issue with thermostat) very friendly and eager to please. Rooms well appointed. We stay here once a year for an event and we are always pleased!

Absolutely no frills or added amenities to this hotel. If you want to pay high Hilton prices and get very little for your money then this is the place for you! The gym is a joke the rooms are so tiny and the free breakfast is horrible. The hotel shares common spaces with a Hilton Homewood Suites, and they don't check if guests should be enjoying the free nightly beer/wine and dinner offered by that hotel so many Hampton guests "sneak" into the Homewood dinners and breakfasts. There are no vending machines and valet parking is charged to ask guests even if you didn't valet park (SO CHECK YOUR BILL CLOSELY!!)

Good hotel in a great location. Within walking distance to the convention center, ballpark, Vine St. eating, and more. I would definitely stay here again. There s also plenty of parking in garages both next to and across the street.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. The room was very tastefully furnished and clean. The valet Drew was also absolutely wonderful. Really professional and kept my husband and I entertained while the other valet picked up our car. He reccommended several great spots including this amazing brunch place. Will definitely be back!

Check in is on the 2nd floor. It's 2 hotels in 1. Hampton is on the right hand side and the other hotel is on the left. It's in a great location. Centrally located. Over the Rhine is about 7 blocks up and the river front is about 5 blocks down. I had a major issue with a the bathroom in our room. I'd say what they were, but it's really too disgusting to say. I called down to the front desk and told them about the issues and they took off a night's stay and they addressed the issue fairly quick. I would stay there again.

I feel like what separates a 5 star hotel from any other property is customer service and we were disappointed in more than one area of our stay. We were looking for a getaway with our baby and had a few problems. Upon arriving, we had already called ahead to have a crib in our room since we arrived in...

Great room and very friendly staff. The only problem we had was with the valet. Either they didn't lock our car, or one of the valets went through our glove box and console. Nothing was taken, but the car was a mess. Everything was strewn all over the seats and floors. For $25, I think they would be more trustworthy. I guess that's why you don't leave anything of value in your vehicle.

It was just okay. There isn t breakfast as listed. They have coffee, apples and two different brands of breakfast bars. I feel like they should be discounting the rooms for that reason yet we still paid over 160 dollars to stay overnight on a Monday....
the bar is just a handful of different beers in a fridge in the lobby.
Except to pay for parking the garage.
An over night stay is 21 dollars! And they retime up at 5 in the morning so except another 30 dollars spent in parking fees.
The rooms were clean so there s that.

An odd, slightly different Hampton Inn. Most the same as others, and the staff stand out for their helpfulness. Don't be put off by the location, well off the street (vertically) so quiet for downtown.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Elevators need work, gave me anxiety every time I got on. Continental breakfast was good, the gentleman working at breakfast always made my day start out with a smile. The location is good, walking distance to the Reds and across from fountain square.

Good location! Right near everything. The rooms were big, parking was easy (there's valet or a public parking garage nearby), and the breakfast was delicious. The 24 hour snack bar is a bit disappointing, but you won't need it -- so many great restaurants around. Helpful staff. Slow, creaky elevators. The exercise room looked nice from the outside.

When we booked the room they said they could only give us a room with a king size bed. Well aware we had 4 people that would be staying in the room they assured us that when we checked in we could change it to a double bed. That was false information. We only booked it because they said that was possible. After getting there from michigan they said no sorry who ever told you that was wrong and we dont even have any available. I had asked to speak with a manager due to it not being my fault a staff member miss spoke. She said she would be available in the morning and would leave a note for her to call. So the couple that was apart of our room at to stay on the worst pull out bed i have ever seen. It was as thin as baby changing mattress. So we ask for extra comforters to make it more comfortable of course they are out of those and pillows. They gave us some sheets but that really didnt do anything. We had drove a long way and where leaving for dinner so had asked how long they would be bringing the sheets she said i have no idea. We asked if we could just get them at the desk she said that was fine. I had come back earlier then the rest so i grabbed them from the front desk and forgot to tell my friends. So when they came back they went to get them and the gentleman was extremely rude saying i have no idea where your stuff is i am only one man and i will get to it when i get to it. Next day comes havent heard from a manager. Next day comes still havent heard from a manager and say something to the front desk(nice guy had interesting name and was helpful) and they say they will have them get with me when they are in. Next day still havent heard from the manager. We checked in on wednesday evening of August 2nd and checked out sunday morning of the 6th. I asked to speak with a manager. Autumn was very nice. The manager joy came out didnt seem like she wanted or tried to help. Said we needed to talk to the higher up. She wrote down my number and said would have them call. Its been a week and i still havent heard from anyone. The breakfast was nice and ron who did clean up at breakfast was super nice but i am highly disapointed that i paid alot of money for this room to have a dirty towel in my room, and for my room mates to sleep on a crappy pull out bed. Then to not have my concerned addressed at all. They knew thousands of people where coming to the city they shoulda been more prepared.

I only stayed at this hotel one night, but enjoyed my stay. The lobby, halls, and rooms seem to be nearly refurbished and were nice and modern. I got a single-bed room and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and had a nice southeast view of downtown Cincinnati. The only opportunity was the elevators. If you have a fear of elevators, you may cringe while riding them. This building shows it's age because the elevators seem to be original to the building.

Location is right in the heart of downtown. On Vine street which is probably the busiest street downtown. The rooms, lobby, and entire ambience was very nice. Only annoying part is you have to pay to park your car every time and it's valet parking. Overall very good hotel, very nice stay.

This is an AMAZING hotel. Built in the beautiful Cincinnati Enquirer building, they kept the best of the old and added the best of the new. The hotel shares the building with a Homewood Suites (also a Hilton brand). We stayed on the 15th floor and had beautiful LARGE windows in the room. Within walking distance to the Duke Energy Convention center. It was up to Hilton brand standards and then some. Breakfast was always well stocked and the place was very clean, even the reasonably priced laundry room was well maintained. If I make it back to Cincinnati, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Friendly staff, good location, clean (minus the ring around the tub...) and very modern. We stayed in a room with two queen beds which were so soft you could barely get out - difficult for me to sleep on, but my husband thought it was great.

Easy access to the city, rooms are clean and the mattress in my room was just right, 3 bears and all that, only thing lacking was the breakfast, but then again nobody stays at the Hampton Suites for their breaky. Located in the heart of it all, I would recommend staying here

Great location downtown. Apparently newly renovated rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Large selection of food for complimentary breakfast. Free and reasonably fast WiFi. Corner room had many windows, which was nice during the day, but sheer curtains did not darken it enough at night.

The hotel was nice, comfy beds and pillows, the rooms were clean, staff helpful with many restaurants choices in walking distance. Also it's an easy walk to the waterfront. However, skip the ice machine, in the hotel, it was gross. The ice had dirt frozen in it.

We were given a nice suite however when I called for an extra blanket I was told that there were none available. After asking to speak to the Manager and being told again that there were no more blankets we were finally provided one (she said she would get one from an unoccupied toom) but only after I refused to believe that there was not one extra blanket in the entire hotel. We were in room 537. This is not the level of service to which we are accustomed.

Excellent service. The only unpleasant part was the hotel bar having a broken credit card machine, and for some reason not having a system to charge the room. But there was an atm about a block away and they let you have a free drink if you brought the receipt back.

I was passing through and needed a room for a night. I was pleasantly greeted and received superior service. The rooms were emasculate and the architecture of the restored Enquirer building was amazing. Highly recommended!

Room was perfect! The ground floor entry felt a bit dingy as did the elevators. The main lobby and rest of the hotel was nice though. Would have been nice to have parking but not sure if any of the other downtown hotels offered it either.

The positive: Good location. Convenient to parking garage. Valet was not needed. Breakfast staff was on top of things even during the morning rush. The negative: Beds need to be replaced. Both beds were significantly worn with dips that made sleeping uncomfortable. Elevators took a very long time during the weekend checkout rush. Tub backed up even after calling to have it fixed.
