Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Harbison Review

Just ok. The rooms really need to be updated, they must be still back in the 1990's. Old TV, takes forever to change channels. Old carpet and old tub. They keep the outside up and the restaurant and guest services, behind all that, is what you don't see, your rooms... Get them updated, and I might be back. Not worth the money.

Friendly staff and clean; very convenient to restaurants and shopping

The lobby and the dining area along with guests services was nice but there room did not meet expectations it was out dated.

Bryon checked me in and gave me excellent service. The young man at the bar/restaurant Sunday night was great. The woman serving breakfast Monday had a great attitude.

Quiet clean and comfortable lodgings with a secluded feeling - even though accessible to major thoroughfares. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Even when we requested the late night replacement of our in room coffee maker, which didn't seem to be working. This was promptly addressed. The coffee provided was rich and full-bodied. Very satisfying. The beds were especially comfortable.

Really nice place. The pool is indoors and it was kind of small but the kids still enjoyed it.pillows and mattress were like sleeping on clouds i didnt want to get up

I have stayed in hotels around the world and yet, can't believe the incredible experience I've had here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia, South Carolina. From the impeccable welcome I received from Bryon at the front desk (I had everything I needed for a great stay); to the immaculate room with clean, comfy sheets and plenty of outlets to charge my electronics; to the AMAZING service from Tim and staff at the restaurant, I just can't say enough! Tim, the bartender and server, knocked himself out for me, recommending menu items, crafting one of his own special martinis, providing timely service, making casual conversation ... I was just blown away. Plus my pasta primavera was excellent, so thanks to the chef. I am so grateful for how professional everyone was. Helped me to get some rest and relaxation during a busy business trip. I will definitely be back and hope Hilton corporate will recognize the good work going on at this hotel.

decent hotel but not what I've come to expect from Hilton hotels room we booked through Expedia was very misleading but manager explained situation and gave us 5000 Hilton points

The hotel was good, everything was clean inside the room and so was lobby, but i probably couldn t gotten a different hotel for the same price or cheaper that had free breakfast. I also had to go in after we checked out because they charged me for 2 $18 breakfasts and we didn t eat at the hotel at all. also a hair dryer would be nice as well!

Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. Meeting room was clean and ready for us, every session.
$9.95 Breakfast was tasty (always good at any Hilton) and room was clean. Modern, up-to-date decor, TV, and in-room appliances.
Free wi-fi, satisfactory.
(I lost my iPad charger, and the kind staff loaned one to me.)

The price is reasonable. Breakfast is really good and has lots of options. The only downside for me was the rooms were old and felt musty. There was mold on the AC vent, which is definitely a turn off. If they upgrade the rooms to the level of the lobby, it would be an awesome hotel.
