A well equipped hotel, value for money and very friendly staff. Breakfast is good. Rooms are spacious and for those with a car, the location lends itself to getting in and out of the city easily. Highway is around the corner and there is minimal traffic. The area is extremely deserted after dark...

Nice pace, very modern. A little bit away from the city centre but Uber and taxis are cheap if you want to go there. Situated in a small shopping complex, the are some options of you want to eat out. Very clean and pleasant rooms, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints

Great hotel and the more than amazing staff. They treat you really like family here. Facilities are also great (shuttle to and from Waterfront multiple times a day, fitnessroom in the hotel, but you're also allowed to train at a full-featured gym located in the complex).
Definitely recommending the DoubleTree and coming back here the next time when I'm in Cape Town! Once again thank you so much for your services.

You should be so very proud of the Front desk staff you have at this Doubletree by Hilton. Just a wonderful around the clock crew you have. I truly enjoyed my stay, totally because of your staff. I can't wait t return to Capetown SA and will return back to Upper Eastside. Please give them all a extra day off for me. Thanks so much you guys. I will never forget.

Love love loved here. The welcome chocolate cookie was so yummy. Staff so friendly and food was great.
But as a result of the load shedding there were times where the rooms were without light ...that was the only negative side to my stay

This is possibly the nicest stay I've ever had in Cape Town - we come back year on year. The staff, the rooms - and never is anything too much to ask for. Big Recommend from me - and see you soon.

One of the better Doubletree properties with good HHonors elite recognition. It is not located in the centre of Cape Town, but this is mitigated by their shuttle service from the hotel to the Waterfront area - which can be improved if there was an additional service in the morning and a later service back to the hotel. Other than that, although the area around the hotel is a mix of new and old buildings, it seems to be a safe area. There is a supermarket (Spar) about 15 mins walk from the hotel and lots of smaller local shops. A couple of streets away, there are some good restaurants. Staff are in general friendly. Rooms are nice and roomy with a view of Table mountain (if you are on the correct side) or the part of Cape Town harbour. Breakfast is good - with a mix of local and western options. The hotel is attached to a small mall with different type of shops and a Korean restaurant. There is a gym and on-site spa but no pool (though not an issue based on the long ongoing water crisis in the region). Will return if I am in the area.

Double Tree Hotel is a great hotel. Clean, lively, the bathroom is beautiful. The bar is trendy. The hosts, everything inside is perfect. However, I cannot say the same for where it is located. The area looks a little dodgy. But if you are planning to stay in the hotel. you can easily forget what is out there. The staff is absolutely amazing. From the front desk, I loved the warm cookie, to the kitchen staff who recommended some great treats. So yes, do try it. Sorry about the camera quality.

Always a pleasure to stay at a Hilton Hotel. My first at a Double Tree. Amazing woman named Asanda(hope the spelling is correct) took care of all our needs and requests. Made our stay an absolute pleasure. Stayed in a loft suite. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel once you step in. Abit of a challenge to get to this hotel in traffic. Rooms are ok...not as fancy as expected. Nice views of table mountain from the rooms. Breakfast also nice. Large spread. Parking for this hotel is R60 which guests need to pay for.

Two words. Firm beds. An absolute joy to stay at. The breakfast is also fantastic and expansive. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Try and get a room above the 4th floor and street facing if you want to avoid bland views of storage facilities.
