No proper singnage to conference parking, then you get clampled for parking on tenants parking even though there is zero signage on that floor that it is tenants only or reserved or clamping zone.
R350 release fee and management just cash in all the time
No point in arguing with security as they're just doing as ordered and give you cold shoulder
Won't recomend location for conferences even though food was great.
Several people could not locate where to go for conference as there is no signage towards the conference areas from parking or entrances

The staff are friendly, making it a point to engage guests in some conversation whenever the opportunity arises. They make you feel so welcomed. The loft we were upgraded into really inspired me to make my own home to be just done up the same way! WiFi is strong and reliable.

Breakfast was a fantastic spread, and the staff at the egg counter - both the lady and the young gentlemen who served on different days - took their job seriously and yet managed to be so pleasant.

The only negative is the location - with a car, it is easy to get to places of interest and even a large Spar supermarket nearby, but the neighbourhood on its own is a little... dodgy to walk around. (Hence the 4 stars instead of 5). Overall it was still a wonderful stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Food was definitely not prepared by chefs. It's prepackaged and then cooked and plated by kitchen staff. My Kingklip was half cooked and Koeksisters served with Pannacotta, was old and hard. The waiter explained that the chef must have put it in the microwave too long. I was offered a new Kingklip, but after a bite of raw fish in my mouth, I decided I am done with my mains. A waiter seated himself 2 tables away from us and had a long conversation with a guest or hotel manager. His trousers was too big and exposed his blue boxers to all to see. The quality and service levels are low for a restuarant located at The Hilton. I won't be going back.

The Presidential Suite is absolutely amazing and updated with the latest appliances and decor. The high ceilings gives you a more spacious feelings. Especially if you're someone like that is claustrophobic. And the views are never ending

I give it 5+ ********stars, it's so amazing

Really lovely place to stay at. The staff are all super friendly and so on the ball. I was thwarted by the card/elevator system, however, but everything else about my stay has been superb.

I forgot my office keys at home and didn't know what to do as my phone died. The lovely staff at DoubleTree Holton invited me in were they gave me a charger to use and said I can sit there until my uber arrives.

Realistically clean and new hotel that offers a good night's rest just outside the heart of downtown Cape Town in the Salt River district. There's a decent, but not overwhelming selection of food at the breakfast buffet, including made-to-order eggs/omelettes and coffee drinks. The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from a small sundry shop where you can purchase bottles of water. There a great coffee shop next door as well that serves breakfast and lunch into the early evening.

You can walk (recommend during daylight hours) to Shackleton Brewing and Hope Distillery, as well as some other nearby venues for food.

Great conference venue, catering was great and lecture halls are extremely well equipped. Secure underground parking available. Shops and determinant residence whit in the building with a well integrated feel gives it a relaxed atmosphere and ambiance.
