Was there for devopsday (6/7 Nov 2017). Food was halal, and awesome! No salaah room, but I found a quiet space to make salaah (alternatively, Muir Street mosque is about 5 minutes drive away).

We really enjoyed our stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

For dinner I ate the nicest Chichen Salad ever. And my hubby raved about his food. Our waiter Jody was an absolute delight.

Our room was spacious and modern and yet homely. Our only slight disappointment was that there was not a great view from our room. But I have no double that the more pricey rooms have spectacular views. Anyway, we watched a good movie and slept really well in a very comfortable bed.

We ended our visit with an amazing breakfast! Seriously, we were astounded by the variety offered. Kitchen staff were also very friendly and helpful.

In spite of full tummies and very satisfied taste buds we could not leave without buying a tin of their delicious cookies to take home.

Great hotel, been here many times and always look forward to my next visit. Unlimited warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, 2 gyms (one with a pool), free shuttles to and from the waterfront, fantastic conference venues, delicious food, shops at your doorstep, friendly staff, spacious, modern rooms - what more can you ask for?

Hubby & I stayed at the hotel from 26-29 January 2018.
We loved the hotel so much, the environment inside the hotel is good, the rooms are very quiet, you'd swear you're the only one inside the hotel, friendly staff especially the "eggs chef" we also enjoyed the food at the restaurant...my husband loved the welcome cookie, he ended up buying more.

We are planning to visit CPT again this year and we will definitely book Double Tree!!

We were received very well.
The rooms are good.
We asked for a mountain view and the request was followed up.
There is a shuttle to the waterfront that works very well, but it runs at longer intervals.
There is a spa, swimming pool and exercise room

This is a super modern, awesome hotel in Woodstock. It is in a multi functional building which also has offices, apartments and shops in it. The check in hotel staff were super friendly and I was given two of the tastiest warm, freshly baked cookies ever. The decor in the reception is very impressive, glass staircase, beautiful lighting. Plush, beautifully upholsted chairs. The lift has a security measure that needs you to insert your card in before it takes you to your floor. My room was modern and comfortable. It was just a bit tricky to find it because the hotel is not set out in the 'normal' one long passage with rooms on either side of it. My floor also had a well equipped gym, with new looking equipment in it. Pillows very comfy, as was the bed. Wide range of TV channels and lots of different lighting. Decent, powerful hair dryer and two complimentary waters and the normal tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious. Wide range to choose from. Attentive staff, lots of nooks and crannies to get some privacy in if you want a quiet, private breakfast. I would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It'll surprise you for sure. One of the hand full with a large conference facility. Beautiful inside. Very reasonably priced rooms. Rooms are spacious.

We arrived late at night and the roads leading up to the hotel seemed a bit dodgy. Once we were inside, we were quite surprised by the standards of a Hilton hotel that were upheld. The most confortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Was eagerly looking forward to enjoying the mountain view in the morning which was sadly spoilt by muddy looking windows. You don't need social distancing to clean windows and we all know these companies need the income. We only needed a place to sleep and the small room served its purpose adequately.
