Coming here for work the past three years at christmas time and it's really nice. Its huge! There's nothing really close tho so if u want a lunch and here for business you can spend a lot at the.cafe which is decent food or id suggest packing a lunch. No microwaves in rooms but nice mini fridge. Classy place

I have been a member of the Verandah Club and the pool for many years now. I feel like family. Katie, Yulmer, Dori, and now Jeff have made us feel like family for years. We bring our extended friends and family here to entertain and socialize. The pool is great but the club is exceptional. I have lost twelve pounds so far this year just taking advantage of the free classes. Indoor pool is unmatched. It s an awesome place to be and I am so thankful we found Verandah.

The bathroom was so small that you had to stand sideways to get the door closed. The carpet and bed skirt had stains all over, the rooms needed a good scrub down and or update and the pool was closed on a 95 degree day. The staff at one of the bar/ restaurants was down right rude.

We had a vendor show there and the location was premier. First class staff that wanted to make us comfortable until it was lunch time which I thought scampered the experience.

During our event there were cash bars which is understandable but had evident price hikes for water.

Overall the venue, the location, the aesthetics were fantastic. Rooms were beautiful as well.

State the true cost upfront, instead of a price, to bate and hook you, and then add a resort fee. It is deceptive. State the total cost first, without tax, so guests know what they are paying up front

Beautiful decor, very professional environment. Restaurants are wonderful and the hosts have alwau been very nice. Enjoyed the marionette puppet show, kids had a great time. Must see. Plus there are pieces of art and history throughout. Lovely.

Last year I had a staycation here that was so good I just had to come back for more! This year I got the option to upgrade to a Deluxe Room in the tower on a high floor, I decided to do the upgrade and it was definitely worth it. The room was very clean and I felt reassured by all the signs saying they did sanitize the room. It was a little dusty all over in the room though, I assume nobody had been in there for a while. I got a Jadewaters view room, even though it wasn't the city view which more people are after, the views from the 26th floor were still stunning and I loved waking up to a beautiful view of the sunrise from all around the bed. Due to the pandemic they downsized Christmas at the Anatole and closed all but 2 of the restaurants. Currently only Gossip Bar and Counter Offer are open, however Counter Offer has plenty of breakfast foods and pre-made dishes to get you by and I thought the food was great quality, a little expensive though. Another thing to note is they currently aren't doing room service either, and the only lobby open is in the tower building. Despite all these things though, the whole team was definitely doing all they could to make the guest's experience amazing despite the times, and a lot of respect goes to them for that, everyone I talked to/interacted with was extremely friendly and went above expectations. I for sure recommend this hotel if you are coming to Dallas or just coming for a staycation.

Very fancy hotel but friendly service and great value. Comfortable, hot, and easy to use showers. Beds were comfortable but like most hotels could have used more blankets. Outlets provided on the bedside table which was a nice touch.

Booked for weekend getaway for the family pool and pleasure. The pool had so many rules and check in line was ridiculously long. It was a bummer, can't bring bags, snacks, or drinks only water bottles. You have to order their food and drinks. It was a joke. Waitresses never come around to offer drinks. Finally did after an hour and a half later. Upon leaving they took our towels away (by chasing us down was asked to change it out).

Restaurant food at Media was really good. The waiting area waitor was so rude to my kids. Three kids sitting in little booths on the floor. Was told rudely "You are in my way!". It took about another 45 min to wait for a seat, then 45 to get our food.

For the price we paid for two rooms for pleasure weekend. Was not worth it. Rooms are nice though. But I will never pay that money again or take another leisure weekend in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, pretty good service, but no hot water... a broken toilet which had to be fixed, and other things that were broken or not functioning properly. Maybe it was just bad timing with a lot of stuff going on including new years eve before I got to the hotel.

Very nice facility. I was there for a 3 day conference. The food was very good as were my guest room and the conference rooms. Lobby is very attractive with plenty of room to spread out and walk about during breaks between sessions.

Absolutely beautiful hotel full of art and architecture in every nook and cranny. The rooms themselves are okay, always clean and well-maintained, but nothing fancy at the lower tiers [despite costing as much as double what a similar room would cost elsewhere]. I've stayed here five times in the past six years for Quakecon and I wouldn't hesitate to come again.

This hotel is the most interesting place to stay. Walking through the halls is like being in an art gallery. The pieces displayed are fascinating, beautifully arranged and nearly endless. I walked around indoors and outdoors to look at all the pieces. As I finished I was sure I had seen them all. As I checked out there was a wall of sculptures I had missed! The have an online tour to lead you around and tour the works.

The Jade waters area is a small fee and was also greatly enjoyed. My hotel room was comfortable and clean.

The only down side is the location. It is not walking distance to anything of note, but the car service is easily available and affordable (cabs that run cheaper than SUVs are a short distance back from the curb and the hotel staff will help you call them if you ask).

The hotel restaurants are affordable (minus the one on the upper floor). And the hotels atrium has seating that is inviting with the water feature and other outdoor style elements. It makes you want to stop, stay and rest/hangout in between shopping at the surrounding hotel shops and restaurants. Most shops were affordable. Especially if you need souvenirs (cheaper than the airport).

For a supposable 5-star hotel I was a little disappointed.. upon exiting the elevator on the 21st floor it smelled musty and stale.. the carpet was dirty and old-looking. In our room when I took a shower, the tub would not drain properly and it filled up completely I had to call somebody to come and plunge it. The mini fridge had frozen over and we didn't realize it till the next day so all of our stuff was hot. We had a late check-out of 2 p.m. I took half of my bags down to the car at 1:40 and when I returned to my room my key would not work it was 1:50 p.m., not quite 2 p.m. So then I had to go downstairs and have my key redone just so I could get in and get the rest of my stuff. For the amount of money it cost to stay here I was not pleased. We will not be coming back

Nice hotel and staff. Nice rooms, though some have much better views than others. However, breakfast should be included for the price and like other Hilton's I've stayed with, and it wasn't. Beautiful complex and relatively close to downtown and some restaurants, etc.

I never felt welcomed, all other guess received welcoming packages except us. The room wasn t that nice okay at best. I guess culturally things would have different, if we were. Not good, felt out of place. NEVER AGAIN!

It was beautiful, with lots of well kept rooms and plenty of near by restaurants. The only complication we had was a misunderstanding on how parking worked for the multiple night event we were attending.

We have visited many 4 to 5 star hotels. This hotel at best is 3 stars. The Christmas event they put on is not worth the money. They ran out of several things and were understaffed. Money would be better spent at Gaylord Ranch or Great Wolf lodge if staying in the Fort Worth Dallas area.

Beautiful hotel. Everything was great, super clean, very friendly staff. Went for a company event and there was no shortage of food or drinks and there was always someone there to help you. Would definitely recommend for personal or business stay.

Wasn't to my standards. With a family of 4 on our first night, our room had no hot water for showers.
After calling down to the guest service's 3 times, due to no response! I had to go down and speak to front desk. Room's are outdated, televisions needs to be updated.

Their Asian art collection is phenomenal. I believe the collection is from the Crow family , which has a separate Asian art museum in the city. The collection in the hotel strikes me as more impressive than what is located at the museum. So stop by the hotel if you want to see an impressive Asian art collection.

I understand the power outage was a natural occurrence due to the weather, however when you wake up in the morning to extremely cold water that never gets warm, it's a bit disappointing. I called down to the front desk and I was advised to leave it running in both the sink and the shower until the maintenance person was available. Sounds easy right? Except for the fact that neither sink would drain so we kept having to turn them off to make sure we didn't flood our room, because it took the maintenance person nearly an hour to come up. He couldn't fix it and told us the boilers weren't fired back up in a timely manner, so his suggestion was to just leave the shower running until it eventually heated up from the newly fired burner! I also asked for covered valet parking due to the hail storm that was expected, and the manager of valet agreed to put my car in the garage. To my dismay the following morning, after we were finally able to shower we came down to the car being pulled up covered in tree sap and debris! Also, there was no microwave no where to be found in this huge hotel for patrons use. When I went to the front desk staff and advised of all of the concerns and issues experienced, and simply requested a late check out. I was shocked to be told that they were too busy to accommodate any late check outs!

We loved this hotel! The staff was so kind from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Our 3 kids did not want to leave. They loved the water park! The movie under the stars was so much fun! For sure worth the money!

The staff is Johnny-on-the-spot with requests. The accommodations are modern and comfortable, and the restaurants and quite good. The location, while not in walking distance of downtown, is a short drive to even more excellent dining options as well as many shopping venues.

Stay for the view, BUT.

Stay for the view, BUT.
Full disclosure - I am from Dallas and remember The Anatole of the of the 1984 Republican convention era when Reagan stayed here. Today s Anatole is no where close to the elegance of years past. The fixtures in the rooms are worn and torn. The service is good but not on par for what it used to be. This hotel is really no different than other lesser priced hotels EXCEPT for the view. If guests pay extra, and choose the rooms on the East side that end in 66, 67, 68, 69 (on the Tower floors, of course), they can have an amazing view of the city, and Dallas is amazing to see at night. So, know upfront you are paying for the view and make sure you choose a room for the view, otherwise, save money and go somewhere else.
