The hotel has an eclectic mix of art and architecture on a massive site. Plenty of space in the hotel but the rooms need to be updated. The bathrooms in the rooms are so tiny that you can't close the bathroom door while you're sitting (if you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing to do so). Also didn't like the fact that they close the indoor pool for "Maintenance" which they have conveniently done the past two times I attended for a convention for the kiddos.

Was there for a conference but no complaints. Good food and great Jade waters complex! Very big hotel with nice artwork throughout. Stayed end of June.
Absolutely glorious hotel and resort. We love the decor and themes, the spaciousness, the food.. everything to make our first time in Dallas feel like such a treat!
My husband and I decided to take our 2 yr old little man to Dallas and this place looked like a good idea with the water park. This hotel is gorgeous. It's HUGE! Jade Waters is wonderful (when open, it was only open 2 days when we were there as it's seasonal which we didn't know until we arrived). The restaurants are great, limited kids choices. Didn't find one person that couldn't make an amazing Moscow mule with bourbon. Food and drinks are pricey though. It was cool to just walk all over the property and check the art and everything out. Be aware that all parking is paid whether it is self parking or valet and they will hit you with a $25/day resort fee upon checkout, both of which we weren't aware of either. Had a couple of issues that the manager resolved to our satisfaction very promptly. All in all, I was impressed and I believe we will return on the future.
The Anatole is beautiful and huge. Service has been timely and pleasant with smiles and polite conversation. The room is clean and sizable. Shower tuns HOT and with lots of pressure. Overall a great place to stay.
This hotel is a city and resort into itself. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner in Ser (pronounced Sear) which is on the 27th floor overlooking the Dallas skyline. Beautiful experience. Amazing food and service.
We have been coming to the Anatole for the past 2 years for LTC. Great place, really beautiful and 2 heated pools for the kids to enjoy! We always are excited coming here!
This is the place to go when you'd like to relax, unwind, have a great time, shop and just enjoy yourself. I received superior service. My suite was pristine, the food was decent, and they have the cutest little children's shop. It carries toys and unique clothing. I was able to find a few very nice pieces that I received plenty of compliments on. I will be back, and definitely recommend.
First off amazing guest services!. If I had any questions or issues All I had to do was ask. If a need were to arise I asked. Any hour I called, they answered, they more than compensated and then took care of us. My family comes here two or three times a year and has a blast. Yes circumstances come up that our needs change and we may need our room colder, they fix it. They apologize, they up grade, so I Dont know why there are so many complaints about that on here. 1st off we are in Texas! and second this is the the most accomadative staff I've ever met.! Also if you need housekeeping, toiletries, in room dining, extra anything they bring it straight to you!. Its always a blast, beautiful, quiet, relaxing and they upgrade us on something! every time we go!. Instead of bashing the hotel on a review just ask guest services to help resolve your problem as it may arise. Thats why they are there and you may be surprised as to how helpful they are! Yes its all pricey but its worth it me. Everything is pricey if you go into uptown.
I've been here for office meetings, happy hour, art shows and just to take visitors of Dallas here to view the inside. It's a pretty cool, unique spot, especially if you are a lover of the arts.
We have been coming to the Anatole for the past 2 years for LTC. Great place, really beautiful and 2 heated pools for the kids to enjoy! We always are excited coming here!
We got here Friday afternoon. It took 30 minutes to check in, but after that, we went straight to the pool with the kids. We took a 3 year old and a 1 year old. The big slides are too big for either of my kids, but the kids area is great. Both kids loved the lazy river too! The kids buffet in the Media Bar and Grill is a good value especially since it is free if you buy an adult meal. I suggest you self park. It's cheaper and the parking lot isn't that large. Get a room, park yourself at the pool, have a great time! If you want to bring food from home, the fridge was big for a mini fridge. There is a microwave downstairs in the 24 food store.
It's a huge hotel with a little for everyone. Rooms are normal hotel rooms, but the bathrooms are big and modern. Comfortable place and views of Dallas from the tower are impressive.
Loved my three day stay at Hotel ZaZa. Large and comfortable room, funky and fun decor throughout the hotel and the room. Comfy king bed, well-equipped mini bar and helpful staff. No coffee pot in the room but the great room service staff happily brought up hot water each night. Wish I had time for the spa treatments which looked...
Huge hotel with nice accommodations and great customer service. There were a lot of employees and the all seemed very well equipped to handle any and all customer experiences.
I wish i had been staying here more often during my trips to Dallas!
I was less than impressed with this hotel. My room was just OK but felt old and dated. The floor-lamp was falling over and crooked and the bathroom shower looked like it hadn t been cleaned. I have blonde hair and found many dark colored hairs in the bathroom and especially in the shower. The outlet on the lamp on the desk didn t work. The TV also didn t work. The heat/a/c had a mind of its own. The toilet would get stuck running every time it was flushed and I would need to jiggle the handle and then wait five minutes for it to stop running. I wanted to get food but the restaurants were expensive. I ordered food from outside to be delivered but it was clear that the hotel only wanted you to order food from their restaurants and room service because the concierge would not allow the delivery person to deliver to my room and I was already in my pajamas and not about to take a walk down to the lobby. Because of this, I ended up going to bed hungry. Before staying here, I had been excited to check it out, hoping that I could return in the summer to check out the water park but after staying here once, I would never choose to stay here again, even if they have a water park. The whole experience was sub-par. I ve stayed at hotels of all brands and this one definitely fell short of the Hilton brand name.
The service is exceptional, so I can't say this place is over priced. The staff is responsive, friendly, professional, and exceptionally helpful. The room I'm in is beginning to show signs of wear, but is still in very good condition. And best of all, they have not adopted the super firm mattresses I keep experiencing at other properties!
I travel often for work and I have stayed in 100s of hotels and the one thing that seems to always stand out regardless of the amenities or beauty of the property is the staffs ability to handle a problem or situation outside the norm. I experienced a major problem when I arrived at this property while the problem was occurring I was very frustrated and embarrassed however the front desk agent, Isaiah, managed to calm my nerves and work with me to address the problem. To give a summary of what occurred I had booked this trip, in advance as a wedding anniversary surprise for my spouse. I coordinated this event with the Diamond Desk and the pre-arrival coordinator at the hotel. I wanted a one bedroom suite king, on one of the top floors, for 3 nights, I was assured by both parties that is was done and that I was assigned to the 20th floor. I arrived at the hotel after a long day of flying and driving to discover that the hotel did not have my reservation request. They had assigned us to floor seven with a double bed. It was very frustrating because I prearranged all of this as a wedding anniversary surprise in advance. The front desk agent, Isaiaha was amazing. He immediately realized the mistake, and began to resolve the issue. He allowed me to stay that evening for free, and for a small increase in the original rate, upgraded me to a very nice suite for the next 2 days. He even gave me free parking for the entire stay. The hotel was even sweet enough to give me and my spouse a free bottle of wine, and some pastries. This is what I call OUTSTANDING customer service. This is why I love being a Hilton Honors Diamond member. No hotel chain is going to be prefect, problems will arise and that is understandable. Its how the staff addresses it and corrects it. Every single Hilton property I have encountered a problem is fixed almost immediately.
This is an enormous hotel that includes a pretty nice water park. The water park, of course, is a hit with the kids, and includes a lazy river, waterslides and a shallow water area with smaller slides etc for toddlers and very young kids. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were nothing special, and the beds were not very comfortable. As a "Gold" Hilton member, I didn't feel like we were treated to anything remotely special at this property, except maybe the complementary breakfast. The "exclusive" happy hour on the executive lounge is pretty weak; it features an overpriced cash bar ($11 glass of house wine anyone?) and complementary hors d'oeuvres. I strongly recommend that guests avoid the hotel's on site restaurants. Servers are friendly, but as one might expect the fare is mediocre and over-priced. Best nearby restaurants (as I learned from another review) are Rodeo Goat (Burgers) and Pie Tap (Pizza). The Rodeo Goat is close enough to walk to. I gave this place three stars because I'd consider returning for the sake of the kids, and the for the convenience of it. But I wouldn't be enthusiastic about it.
What a hotel. I truly enjoyed being at this location for a 4-day conference. Plenty of space, ball rooms, restaurants, cafes and the like. Also the decor is middle Asian and I browse the different collection as if I was in an art gallery... and added treat.
The Hilton Anatole is a lot better than it looks on the outside. As a business traveler I would've never imagined this to be a resort. Spacious rooms, close proximity to downtown, though I used a rental car and the whole hotel is very artfully decorated.
Even if you're not from out of town this is the best place to go to for a staycation. Its like a huge Resort and even if you've gone once you must go again because you definitely missed something on your first trip. There are so many things to explore and with the renovations and the new water park it will be like a whole new place to visit in the very near future.
Beautiful facility, albeit large. So many bathrooms and lots of water available! I wish food and coffee prices were lower but you can't have it all. I enjoyed my conference here.
Great hotel with lots of areas. Wear sandals or sneakers..... marble floors and concrete in the convention center.....Texas huge...u will be walking a ton!!!!
Beautiful property close to downtown Dallas, huge hotel with impressive art collection and big water park, rooms are big and clean. Few cons: overcrowded executive lounge, long line at check in and poor recognition as a diamond loyal.
The staff was great, helpful, and courteous. Hotel, conference rooms, and ballrooms were clean. Maps were easy to read and accessible. Bathrooms were fully stocked, clean, and sheltered fresh. It was a great experience.
The management and customer service of the SER restaurant was unfortunately some of the worst I have ever experienced. I am not one to be bothered by that usually but will definitely not be going back. Food was great and so was the waitress but other than that, top 5 wprst experiences I've had at a restaurant.
Beautiful resort style hotel. It reminds me of being on a cruise ship. It's huge and full of lots of restaurants, bars, spa, gym, atrium and more! The service is remarkable. I brought a travel steamer and the housekeeping staff expertly tied up the cord for me.
Love the Asian art work! It was like being in a art gallery/museum on my way to a conference. Place is huge! Service was good, did not try any of the restaurants or water park. I enjoyed the indoor pool cause there was hardly anyone there. Would love to come back with family next time.
I had the worst hotel experience of my life this past weekend in this hotel. Very nice property but it was the absolute worst service you could get the entire visit. To start I made a reservation for 3 rooms and needed one of them handicap accessible for my mother that is in a wheel chair. I called the hotel directly to make sure that this was understood. When I arrived at the hotel they didnt have the rooms ready and told me it would take 30 minutes. When we finally got into our rooms 45 minutes later the room wasn't even a handicap accessible room. It ended up taking us two and a half hours to actually get into a accessible room. Even though we made it to a accessible room it took another hour and a half to get a shower chair for my handicap mother. So my mother didn't have time to take a shower before going to the event that we were there for. ALL OF THE STAFF THAT I HAD CONTACT WITH FROM CHECK IN UNTIL LEAVING ACTED PUT OUT TO HELP US. ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE STAY. DO NOT THINK THAT THIS WONT HAPPEN TO YOU...SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
I have stayed at the Anatole many times. As a matter of fact I grew to a diamond member through my stays at the hotel during 2017. I have recently began to travel again and of course I chose to go where I know would serve me best. Unfortunately my stay and experience was well below average. The hotel is a tale gate party and customer service is beyond rude. I called concerning my bill from my previous stay and got hung up on twice. The last time I got hung up on I was asking for the names of the two women who were no help. I then called back twice in order to get the names and they let the phone ring. This is completely unprofessional and should be looked into as if corporate looks into the phone call you will see that there has to be something done about these employees. It hurts me because I am flying to Dallas today and expected to stay at the Anatole for another 4 days.
