Great hotel with excellent facilities and good staff.

Wonderful base for Groningen and in a wonderfully quiet location, only for 4 stars is breakfast a little bit to be honest.

This afternoon high tea at a beautiful location, was really delicious with very friendly service.

4 star restaurant. Delicious eaten. Looks a bit dated, but your grandparents probably already came there, it has been around for so long. Really a household name and close to Lake Paterswoldsemeer. Nice base for a bike ride, for example.

Large hotel in quiet area. Excellent service and service. Gallery in the foyer. Large parking lot. At Paterswoldsemeer and within walking distance of several restaurants. Neat rooms. Good breakfast.

Hotel is a little dated (which can be seen from the carpet in the rooms, for example) and therefore 4 instead of 5 stars. We had booked 2 rooms with our 2 children next to each other with a door between the rooms.

We had a fine dinner in the hotel in the evening and breakfast in the morning (although fairly basic) was fine. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Very dated room for 146, - incl moderate breakfast, hospitality is missing here. Dirty carpet throughout the hotel and room, musty odor in the room, price / quality is not right at all

Breakfast; wide selection, tasty bread. Soft-boiled egg is water-thin, fruit is not ripe. Bathroom very small. 1 pillow, too fat.

Very outdated and run down. They don't provide you with a mug for tea or coffee but a cardboard cup with exactly 1 tea bag pp. Towels were paper thin

Good service and observe the RIVM rules! I was a bit wary now that the numbers are rising again, but think that many regions may take an example of how they approach it in Groningen (and in the hotel)!

Beautifully situated hotel in a quiet area near the Paterswoldsemeer where you can take a nice bike ride. Also a day in Groningen from the P + R Hoogkerk, 6 km away, after which you will be in the center of the city in no time at all.

In my opinion, the choice was very sad and cheap. If you participate in promotions, fine, but don't give people the feeling that they could have eaten better at the Mac Donalds because it is cheaper.

Starter soup broth of poultry with pieces of chicken, chicken was nowhere to be found completely thinly chopped and broth did not taste good

You really cannot do cups and saucers at a buffet. Bought a loaf of bread with tappenade, we got 6 slices of baguette .. Come to an a la carte restaurant that comes with baguette seriously? For a moment I thought that is to get our menu but no person next to us had the menu and got the same. Main course of my girlfriend was good she she. Mine I knew my fish just came out of the freezer and the cheap fish was nothing interesting. If I normally have to pay 60 euros for this, I will never come again. Dessert was fine. Interior much better in restaurant than most I've been to. But what Ana really can't do with the minus points.

Fine Hotel. It is true that it is a bit dated, but that also gives it its charm, After all, it is the Family Hotel Paterswolde!
Only drawback: no coffee and tea facilities in the room.

Done high tea here, but was very expensive compared to what you get. Control never came to ask if it tasted?

Warm welcome. Nice room and clean. Close to a leisure park. A place to come more often.

Booked a Christmas package.
Great friendly staff from reception to the ladies who clean everything so neatly. Both Christmas menus were fantastic and the wine arrangement also matched perfectly.
In short, had two wonderful days thanks to the good care of the staff.
Remember, the room with bath was fine too.

One of the many hotels in this chain ..... but surrounded by greenery ..... great location

Minus: Pool stinks a bit at the drain. There were traces of blood on the wall, I do not know how long they were there. The cleaning agent in the fitness room was vinegar and very stunk. The dressing room to the pool is for all visitors, there is no single changing room. Restaurant is delicious but the chairs very deep and therefore not for smaller children. I did not test anything more

Nice hotel, however, it has at one point or another already deficiencies. For example, the shower tap was broken and a lot of times down. Even with the cleanliness left a few wishes open especially in the bathroom.

We came here for high tea on a weekday and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Presentation and service were wonderful, though the dessert looked better than it tasted. The homemade items, especially the baked goods, were the highlight. We were also able to get the fixed menu with no meat. I'd say it's overpriced by 5 per person but we had a very good discount through local supermarket coupons and were very happy with what we paid. We'll go back as a nice treat someday... if we can get those coupons again.

Beautiful location and wonderfully spacious room. Staff were very friendly and we were allowed to check in earlier because we would be returning late for a wedding.

Were with two adults and a little one of over 1 year. Hadn't just announced it. Still got a free upgrade to a larger room so that he could sleep well with us in his own bed. Top service! Nice rooms, good shower and good beds.

Nice room, something dated but just fine. Air conditioning worked well and the breakfast was great!

Little old-fashioned restaurant with many seniors as a guest. No surprising card. Food was fine. Because of the increased competition in the area, I advise them to do something about the prices, or to dress everything up.

Very good hotel in green and peaceful surroundings, within cycling distance of the bustling city of Groningen. Spacious and safe parking area. Bicycle parking with charging points for e-bikes. Some faded glory. Ordered nice coffee slice of cake, got two, a bit exaggerated we might as well have ordered pastries.

Great hotel with nice big rooms. Via the Fletcher promotions you can stay here cheaply. There is a bus stop at the hotel which will take you to the center of Groningen within half an hour. At the hotel is a swimming pool where you can swim laps. There is also a lot of nature in the area. You can make beautiful walks or bike rides.
