Fabulous hotel by the lake at paterswolde easy to get to from the motorway and not to far out of Gronigen. We have been to this hotel before a few years ago and were delighted with the warm welcome and totally surprised the receptionist remembered us! The roooms are spacious and well maintained the bathroom also has a full bath with a shower so perfect to soak your feet after a long day sight seeing. The breakfast it continental fare and is very good. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back in the future.

Quiet Family hotel (booked for Sunday on Monday) good swimming pool, wonderful luxury rooms with bath / shower and TV and small fridge.

Had dinner there on the terrace in the evening. The weather was beautiful and then it is lovely to sit there with trees and under umbrellas. The food was good, service idem.

We regularly go to the restaurant, but unfortunately the menu is getting less .... Fortunately, staff remains friendly and helpful.

A great hotel with air conditioning, sufficient parking spaces and very nice staff. The breakfast itself we have taken to the outside, as it would be too expensive in the hotel (16 euros per person and 8 euros for our 4 year olds), but otherwise no matter what, it will help you, a few staff speak German, but everyone speaks English. No problems with communication. Swimming pool, gym and sauna in the house. Good location, as close to Groningen who likes to shop ... I recommend the Pannekoekenship, who likes delicious pancakes. Who wants to do something with children, I can recommend the swimming pool de bonte Weever, the Sprookjeshof Zuidlaren or things like the Wildlands Zoo Emmen, which is really beautiful ... In this sense, dead ziens ..., see you next time. ..

A beautifully situated hotel close to the Paterswoldemeer and also not far from the highway. Beautiful surroundings. Nice spacious room, with a nice and good mattress with pillow, chairs, desk and TV with many channels. Very good dinner and the next morning enjoyed a tasty, extensive breakfast buffet. staff are all very friendly. We have this overnight stay through a Flechter promotional coupon. This hotel is highly recommended!

Nice family hotel. Only a little maintenance needed, especially the exterior and bathrooms and broken fridges. !!!

Well what shall I say. Fletcher concept; buy an old hotel, paint it and go. This one in Paterswolde also had its best time. Quiet room, small bathroom with even smaller shower cabin that is quite leaky. Room smells like cigarettes. Friendly staff and value for money. Did not have breakfast there but asked for a packed lunch. I got that for 10 euros, filled with bread that is at least 2 days old. Spend a few tens more next time I think.

Nice location, large rooms, nice bathroom and a good breakfast. Easy to reach by car and plenty of parking places. Even a swimming pool, what more do you want!

Great hotel. A simple bedroom with a good TV. Neat, well-equipped and well-kept. Then a small bathroom, simple and clean. Only the shower was very small and it leaked horribly. There was a whole puddle of water on the floor after showering. For the rest, a nice hotel with friendly staff. They have a swimming pool and a pool table.

Do I complain about 'a little bit dated'? No! All well deserved. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Excellent service and with a smile. Nice new bikes. Wonderful breakfast with the tastiest sugar loaf. Stay inside for dinner. Thick for each other!

Nice hotel in a quiet location on Lake Paterswolde, spacious rooms and delicious food.

WATCH OUT!!! This is not a rating for the hotel, but for the hotel restaurant. We ordered a 3 course meal and got it at some point. We had to wait almost 2.5 hours for our food, although there wasn't much going on in the restaurant. About the food itself, I'll make it short: the best thing about the food was the Greek yogurt. The starter for us consisted of a chicken soup that was very thin and a tomato soup that more reminiscent of a tomato sauce costs 6.50 per dish, it was not very tasty. The main course: we had plaice fillet and a pork fillet skewer here cost 19.50 per dish. The dishes were delicious in themselves, but they were so small portions that I thought they were children's dishes. For our 3-year-old daughter we had ordered spaghetti bolognese costs 6.50 here. The sauce was totally overflowing with pepper, even with me and I like to eat spicy, it burned in my mouth after half an hour, how should it be with a 3-year-old. For dessert there was the Greek yogurt and ice cream from the discounter. There was water to drink for 3.85 from the tap and a cyclist. My conclusion I would eat again "No" under no circumstances.

Great hotel, bit dated. Beds were fine. Plumbing was clean. Staff was friendly. We have not dined here, it is recommended to do this behind the hotel on the water at the 'Pavilion of the Lady'.

Okay, but not fascinating. One could do better cleaning in the lobby and the restaurant.

High beer is recommended! Enjoyed the high beer with an action. Everything on the menu could be requested, you have 3 beer free choices. Snacks were of high quality and the service was very good. Given that other high beers are also quickly + 20, the small additional price is worth it.

A comfortable hotel right by a lake. Various hiking routes nearby. There is a bus stop right in front, with a bus going to the Groningen city center.
People at the front desk were very helpful.

Very expensive hotel for what you get, no water pressure with shower, carpet with stains, swimming pool closed because the pump is broken, and breakfast costs another 15 euros pp extra! Not to be repeated!

3rd Fletcher hotel in 6 days. The best of the three. Neat rooms, excellent bed. Restaurant also thick enough. Beautiful location.

Cozy and neat hotel with great restaurant and friendly staff

Had a nice lunch, most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the host who received us was very grumpy and everything was too much for him. On the day we were here the weather was beautiful, but he didn't allow you to sit outside because that was too much work.
