It's right next to Hershey Park it cost nothing to get in the tour ride is free and it gives me a place to take my grandchildren on a rainy weekend my grandchildren love the place one because they get a free cany bar of there choice and because they are always making changes to the place. they have entertainment there and different places there to eat also and the way they make there ice cream it's out of this world. To me it brings back a lot of fun memories and for me to see my children and grandchildren injoy them selves the way I use too and still do ( I love the place).....

Ate too much chocolate. Had Hershey kisses coming out for days. Fun little side trip when going to Hershey Park. Must do atleast once. Maybe twice if you need some very large boxes of recces peanut butter cups.

People open your eyes.I just bought a 145 piece bag of Hershey assortments at Karns for 9.99 at chocolate world it was 16.99. This is a billion dollar company, look at the twizzlers they are so small and half the size they were 10 years ago and cost twice as much. We were told we had to go online and sign up for a timed ticket to get it so we did , just before you get to the front doors of chocolate world someone was there to check your ticket on your device , she didnt even look at it , then off to a temperature check well just because I didn t have a fever doesnt mean I dont have Covid so this is just another farce and another set of meaningless mandates

Review of the WIFI only. Could not connect to pubic WIFI, the web page for sign in was always blank. No tech support available. Have Pixel One phone.

Bummer

The 4D movie was very boring, not about chocolate, it's a poorly done interactive movie sourced from interviews in the lobby. Don't waste your money.

We had so much fun! We've got 4 kids ages 11-5. We all loved making our own chocolate bar! The options are simple enough, you really can't make a bad bar. Its exciting to watch you bar get made.
We also saw the 4D movie. It was corny but entertaining.
The tour was a little ride explaining how chocolate is made. Not an actual tour of an actual factory. Maybe that's what the Unwrapped Tour is?
Anyway, we loved it and the kids will remember this forever and that's worth the money!

So crowded and tons of overpriced items. But if for some reason you are obsessed with a specific Hershey brand, you can buy all sorts of swag! They also have every flavor so if you like something that is not common at your local store, you're in luck! I didn't do any of their tours or make your own chocolate bar because it was entirely too expensive!

We did all of the tours and shows (4 of them paid for and one free). We enjoyed all of them (kids aged 3-12). Each attraction gave us some free chocolate at the end. Who couldn't appreciate that? Dinner was fun too! I had some cocoa brisket. I couldn't taste any chocolate, but it was good.

Hershey is taking anti-infection precautions with temp screening, masks are mandatory, and the staff disinfect All keypads, rides cars (Chocolate Factory ride) and frequently touched rails and counters. Social distancing is in effect for all lines (food, attractions, and checkout counters).
There were great deals on souvenirs and candy for retail sales. It wasn't crowded due the limit of people allowed inside, so it made shopping all the more pleasant. We were able to move and browse without feeling rushed.
My wife and I got milkshakes, and they were awesome. The Reese's shake was good enough for me to drive 3.5hrs for another one.

Loved the Chocolate Factory. Contains a Food Court with a great deal of chocolate of course. You can buy health food, fast food and decadent deserts here. Just past the food is a tour desk where you have a choice of things to do including a downtown history tour, a factory tour and movies, etc. We saw how chocolate is made and received a free sample. Then we went to the store and bought some souvenirs. A fun time!

Chocolate World is a destination unto itself at Hershey. It's really the Mecca for candy and especially chocolate lovers. The store is immense and carries merchandise and of course every candy Hershey's makes even the harder to find ones. The main attraction is the tour which is a ride through a simulated version of the factory where you learn a little of the history and the process. Best of all, you get a free candy bar at the end. Parking is easy and free if you spend less than three hours there. Leaving can be a little bit of a pain at night when all the park goers also leave.

Hershey's Chocolate World is a good place to visit especially with kids. Its full of sweetness around. Well maintained & managed. The place is completely vibrant. There was a parade in which all the Hersheys famous chocolate names came out in the form of characters, came along, played with kids and all around, swayed with the music and were dancing to the beat of the drums. The Hershey's store has all sorts of chocolates, stuffed toys, tshirts, souvenirs etc.

This place brought out the hidden inner child in me. Did the free chocolate tour, 4D movie and trolley tour. Both were excellent except the trolley tour. They charge $16 per adult. It is definitely not worth the penny they are charging. Its 45min drive around the town of Hershey, historic importance etc.. More so, the trolley was not adequately heated enough to help people beat the weather outside which was chilled and super cold.

I knew this was a bit of a tourist trap before we went but it was cool to see. The little free tour was cute, but they get you with the price of the merchandise. If we were back in the area, I would definitely stop back in but I'm not driving cross-country. I get that it is kid-friendly, but even on a snowy Sunday, it was overrun with loud, screaming, unruly, rude children.

Visiting this famous chocolate capital has been a memorable experience. Extremely welcoming and joyful staff as well as the the pleasingly laid out display facilities contributed to the positive experience. To top it all the parking and the history cum production process exhibition were fully free.

We love Hershey. We only live 45 minutes away and are here all the time. Sure things are a little pricey. But the kids love it and that is all the matters. The breakfast with Santa was the best!

I wish I can be 5 stars but, is very expensive I side and navigation the attractions park is very difficult, very misleading signalization and can get a little chaotic for first time users like us, next time we know where to go for sure, overall experience is great, many options to expend a full day here, take all the tours they offer, take some food and drinks with you and then buy the chocolate at the supermarket .

It was really nice. The inside informational ride was really nice and fun for all ages. I had my 73 yr old papa and my 9 yr old kid brother that both enjoyed it. It is very difficult to leave without purchasing any chocolate or other paraphernalia. They also have AMAZING sugar free candies (pb cups and york peppermint patties the BEST). Very freindly staff (Brooke was very informational and helpful) and overall amazing experience. My conservative spending father even splurged. Great priced items.

Though way more expensive than the next-door amusement park, we had WAY more fun here. Essentially 3-4 small attractions dotted around a massive retail store and food court. We skipped the 45 min trolley ride and did the other attractions, which were both fun and informative.
