2/21/2020 Yesterday I brought my car in for service. Sean treated my as a VIP. He is very courteous and detail oriented. Time is very precious and my time there is well spent.
We had a pleasure of working with Steve Roach, he was fantastic with helping my daughter and I find the perfect car. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. Very knowledgeable. He was very patient with her being indecisive. She loves her new car! We thank him!
Last week, I bought a new Civic through this dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted to get and how I wanted to pay for it, so that made things much simpler.
Overall, we had a great experience. Our sales rep was Keith Banks-Obanor. He was a great help and very pleasant to deal with - answered all the questions, took care of all the paperwork, even came in on the weekend the next day to finalize certain things. Oh, and I was always able to reach Keith by phone when I had any questions/concerns. I appreciated that a lot. Overall, it took about a week from the day we first came in until the day we had the car.
One strange thing was that overall we dealt with something like 5 people (sales reps, financial managers). It was a bit odd. Last time I bought a car the same person took care of everything. I found that a bit more personable than being bounced between different people.
Oh, and if you are like me who doesn't tolerate anything foreign being stuck to a brand new car, make sure you ask the dealership not to stick their logo on your car. Keith removed it in no time without a trace after I noticed it.
Again, overall, I'm satisfied with the service I got and I love my new car!
Everyone was extremely nice and everyone offered an open friendly environment. The salesman Travis, that I worked with was very effective in listening to my needs and wants and making it happen. Everyone in Honda made sure that I left happy and truly satisfied with my decision. The shopping process was a breeze, I just said what I wanted and there it was. I am truly grateful for Honda!! I have had mixed experience with the customer care agents at Herb Chambers. For instance my most recent experience was fabulous! She was nice, professional and swiftly did her job. On the other hand there are some who shouldn't be allowed near other people (customers!). I don't really feel like it's a welcoming place. They definitely need to reevaluate their training program.
I recently purchased a Honda CRV and the process was great. Victor was very helpful, informative, and wasn't pushy. He even went above and beyond trying to retrieve my designer sunglasses that I left behind in the truck that I traded in days after the deal was done. I would definitely recommend this dealership if you are looking to buy/lease a vehicle. The staff is super friendly, and attentive to your needs. I will return when I'm ready to trade in my CRV!!
My daughter was rear ended in her Honda CRV. Long story made short, she ended up with two new bumpers and an exhaust system which was done where we live in Ct. After being repaired she had the car back in Boston and she noticed that the exhaust was swaying. It turns out that the bracket, which is a part of the car, rusted and completely fell off. I contacted Herb Chambers Honda on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise they made the time to put her car up on a lift just to be sure that it was safe for her to drive back to Connecticut. I can't say enough good things about their repair department. They helped us out in a rough situation and when my daughter asked how much she owed them they told her no charge. We had repair work done last year and they had it done in the stated amount of time and for the price quoted. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a good, reliable and honest repair shop.

Not customer focused could not get hold of my sales person or the manager that I met with. The car was never there and sold two months ago!! While I got calls begging to come in. Bad tactics to bring people in the switch then. BAIT AND SWITCH never visiting a Herb Chambers store again.
The thing I hate most is people wasting my time. I was reached out with a promise of a price and a car to drive. When I got there the price went higher by 200 USD a month and there were no cars to drive. I now drive and Audi not BMW thanks to them.

Absolute garbage. Got monthly emails to set up meetings about new leases and every time I went in was just handed off between employees. Terrible communication, and the less experience you have buying cars the more they will try to take advantage of you. Currently paying over $900 for returning my lease EARLY, something they asked me to do and said I would not be charged for.

I was very enthusiastic to visit Herb Chambers and thought their services would be phenomenal and buying a car from Her Chambers would be like being a member or part of the Herb Chambers Family. So, I make a deal and then one guy tells me you will have the car by the end of the day after waiting for 5 years another person shows up and says oh please wait for 3 days and then we will deliver the car because we have to get it from the port. Fine no problem I can wait for 3 days. What really is Disappointing about the Herb Chambers Honda in Boston is that the moment that sell you the car their work is done and if there are any concerns they will not be available. Sure the guys can brag and give you their personal numbers but never answer your call or return your texts. Keith who also happens to be their so called star salesman is actually just concerned with meeting his targets and making more deals than others. It has been two months now that they made a mistake in my deal and promised to return me the remaining amount of my money, 2 months and now no one receives calls, replies to emails and when you call the operator almost everyone is busy including the GM. Totally disappointed with these guys service and lies. One guy Bo finally picked up a call and said Oh your cheque is ready for pick up or mail another week passed and then another person finally calls through a personal contact and says oh its not ready wait for another 3 days. If it doesn't work out again I am going to have my attorney call this place. Totally disappointed!
I would like to consider Herb Chambers Honda of Boston part as family, because that is how they made me feel throughout my first car purchase process! I did not feel like one more customer, I was sincerely guided and provided with the best options out there according to my current needs and financial position. Even after the purchase they exceeded my expectations. They are still there for me with every step of the way, as a first time car owner, and have not thrown me to the side after my purchase. I was very fortunate to get Victor as my sales person. He is absolutely fantastic. He calmed my nerves as I was anxious to go into a dealership. I didn't want to be sold anything, I wanted to buy a very specific car. After the test drove he asked me how I liked it and what I wanted to do next. He didn't try to show me a million different cars or anything of the sort. This was my first experience at a dealership and it really couldn't have gone any better. And to top off the entire experience, I was unable to make it into Boston the day my car was ready, and wit hour hesitating he offered to drop the car off, and I live an hour away. Truly a gentleman who puts his customers first. I refer anyone looking for a car to see Victor, you won't go away disappointed
People who been giving this place 5 stars either have money to throw away or they are caught for fools. I went in for an inspection sticker and somehow the bill would come to over two grand. They always manage to add more problems than your car has. Unfortunately, that's how most places are. I was told I had to replace both front ball joints because it causes stiffness of the steering wheel. Okay, service done. There is no change on how the steering wheel feels after paying over $676 for the service. Furthermore, they said rear inner brake light bulb was off and needed to be replaced. All my lights were fine when I pulled in. They specifically said it's just a $10 for the bulb and won't be charged for the work on that. Well, guess what-- a $25.80 charge to replace a freaking bulb. In addition, there was an "environmental compliance charge" which was not explained. The guy didn't even know where the rear inner brake light is. Lastly, they failed my inspection because of tire wear. I'll post a picture so you can tell yourselves if they need to be changed or not. They just want to sell their stuff. And most people who don't know much about cars would just say yes go ahead change them, and they will pay for repairs way ahead of time. Another point of failure was tinted rear windows which for every inspection prior to this one (5 to be exact) has passed with flying colors even from other Honda dealers. So this dealer is full of lies just to inflate their customers' bill. To finish it all, a recommendation service that anyone with little knowledge of how to use a screwdriver and a part that cost as little as $20 was estimated to be over $300. Go figure! Oh and they never gave me the R letter sticker which gives you 2weeks of time to do any repairs, or the list about why it was rejected. Yet still I was charged the $35. My suggestion is to take your car and money to your local auto shop and reason with honest hard working people instead of dishonest sales people like these guys.

This is for the sales department and I can't speak for the other departments. We purchased a 2016 Honda Touring over Memorial Day Weekend and had an overall great experience. It was really crowded, as expected, but the appointment we had was kept right on time and they answered all the questions we had.
Our salesman, Patric Comerford, was awesome. I was in touch with numerous Honda salesman/people throughout MA and Patric was by far the easiest to work with and most responsive. He was very straight forward and helped us with every aspect of the buying process.
When we picked the car up he went through how everything worked and made sure we were completely happy with it before leaving. Like I said before, I met a lot of people I really didn't enjoy working with along the way, but was really happy with the car, the service Patric provided us, and our overall experience at this dealership. Really glad we came here to buy our car!

I made an appointment for an oil change today. It was my first time to this place. Upon arrival, the sign outside the service department said to wait in the vehicle for a service valet. I was the only vehicle waiting for the valet and the service employees were having a good time talking to each other inside. They just stared at me and no one came out. After about 5 minutes of being stared at, I decided to take my business elsewhere. As I drove away, one of the service employees happened to walk outside. I asked if the valet sign was correct because no one came out to greet me. She looked confused and told me I was supposed to go inside. Really? What kind of place is this? First impressions are important especially when trusting someone with your car. Went to Boch in Norwood instead, was greeted by professionals and made to feel appreciated.
I just completed my second purchase at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston and my experiences here continue to be excellent.
My first purchase was two years ago when I first moved to the state. I needed a good car for a good value quickly because my car would not pass Mass state inspection without a serious overhaul. They were able to walk me through every step of the process and everything went very smoothly.
Now that I have a new, better paying job, I came in for a new vehicle. I loved the Honda Fit I purchased from them two years ago and asked to see their new and used availability for the same car. I took home a 2012 Honda Fit the same day.
When I came in a few days later to finalize the paperwork, I was surprised that they asked how I liked the car. I said it was great and that I was very happy with it. They were happy to hear it but had an offer for me that I couldn't believe! They said they had anther Honda Fit, same color, 3 years newer, still under warranty, with fewer miles, and because I was a loyal customer, they could give it to me for less money than the one I had brought home.
Now that's service!
They did not have to present this offer to me. I was happy with the purchase and had signed the sale agreement. That they did shows me how much they value their customers.
I (of course) took home the 2015 Honda Fit and look forward to many happy driving years with it.

My Service Advisor, Tereza Guzman, always makes me feel welcome and that I am a valued customer. Tereza is friendly and helpful in explaining the work that needs to be done and answering my questions. When I pick-up my car it is always freshly washed. And I've never had to bring my car back after a service for work that wasn't done properly. Having my CR-V serviced at Herb CHambers Honda is a positive experience, and healthy, too, because I get a free apple after each service.

Worst experience ever, I was interested in a new civic type R and the MSRP is 37K the manager offer the 41K 4K over msrp which I think is ridiculous, while the sales persons pushed you to give a offer and if you give an offer you need to buy it immediately. Then I said fine, I would leave , the sales persons get mad and complaint you wast his time. Wow what a amazing dealership push the customer to buy a vehicle and if you do not buy it they will be mad! Be careful to this dealership !
I never write reviews, but this experience deserves one. Prior to going to Herb Chambers, I had two back to back terrible experiences looking for a new car. Walking in, I was preparing for the worst and expecting to have to be on the defensive with whoever I ended up sitting down with. How wrong I was. I was fortunate enough to get Thomas as my sales person. He made the experience beyond enjoyable. Not once did I feel pressured to buy, and throughout the entire process he was more than happy to answer any questions that I had. He was friendly, professional, and beyond helpful. He even was thoughtful enough to have a decal made up for me that was on the car I traded in that had huge sentimental value. Pretty incredible. From start to finish my experience was a positive one, and I likely will only go to Herb Chambers from now on. If you end up going to Herb Chambers, ask for Thomas. You will not be disappointed. My husband & I bought our 2014 Honda CRV from Herb Chambers Honda in Boston.
As far as dealerships go it is a little hard to get to right on Comm Ave, not a lot of parking. The reason we bought from them was that we happened to be looking for a certain Honda CRV with Navigation and in a certain color and they had it coming in.
The day we went to pick up our new car, it was not there. We were informed it was at the dock waiting to come to the dealership. Unfortunately we would not be able to pick it up. However the salesperson told us that he would personally go down to the dock and bring the vehicle to our house as soon as it was ready.
About 4 hours later we got a call that he was on his way and delivered our new car to our home in Mansfield!
We were won over by this personal touch as they could of just said to us that we can come back the next day.
As far as a deal it is all about the same however there was no high pressure posturing, they let us browse and when we were ready to buy, again no hassles.
I would recommend them if you live nearby, service is great and friendly. We found it just a little too far and inconvenient for us to get to.
i leased a brand new 2020 pilot in november from this location. a month later, the audio stopped working, the apple carplay was shaky, and the rear camera stops working sometimes. my bluetooth doesn't work also, so I can't even use the hands free link. no one can hear me! i can't even play any music! it either says "no audio connection" or the songs skip like a CD!!!
this is frustrating and it's unacceptable! i feel like i've been given a lemon and the car is unsafe. the other day, the whole entire screen / unit blacked out and reset while I was driving using the GPS! i don't want to have to keep coming back for service, especially for an ENTIRE day. i don't live close and you guys DONT EVEN HAVE LOANER VEHICLES. why would I want a shuttle to somewhere local. life has been VERY inconvenient and valuable time has been wasted.
i am planning on dropping off the car for an ENTIRE day. i should have shopped elsewhere. this isn't the last you hear from me. I NEED SOLUTIONS PLEASE and UNTIL then, this review sticks and i will continue to pursue a solution. thanks for listening to my ted talk.

I had the best experience at Herb Chambers Honda. Tonight I picked up my new Honda CRV. I am a regular customer, and I like that when I go in and tell them what I am interested in they respect it. They did not try to get me to spend more than I wanted to spend. Peter Comerford was my sales person. Ed Holhman has been my long term sales man for years, and he is still looking out for me.
I must say, this location definitely has some improvements to make. The communication here is very poor and the car lots are extremely disorganized. Some of the vehicles that were still posted as available online, were not actually available. The car that I thought I was interested in, had incorrect information on the posting online. My first visit left me sitting there for 90 minutes, without ever seeing a vehicle. My second visit, it still took about 90 minutes, but I DID get to see the car I was interested in (the other had been sold). That being said, it was a wild goose chase to even find the vehicle. How are the sales people supposed to sell cars when they are SO disorganized and no one keeps anyone informed? Normally, I would have given this dealership 1 or 2 stars.
All of that being said, they have one particular sales associate that turned my views of this location. Scott Santos is very professional, friendly and made me feel very welcome. He was honest, informative, and tried to help in any way he could. I would be MORE than happy to work with him again. Although I did not end up purchasing a car here (yet), I think he is very deserving of 5 stars. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the dealership as a whole.
I must reiterate, I would give this dealership a 1 or a 2, but Scott Santos deserves 5 stars.
Probably one of the first dealers who didn't try to upsell me(without reason). Spent hours looking for the car that suited me but Jay Miranda was able to assist, and even saved me a couple bucks. 10 Star rating, would recommend.
I wanted a new car. The first salesman I met spent 30 minutes I guess gathering information and then went to bring his "Manager". The "Manager" he brought tried to be very intimidating. When I got up to leave because we hadn't reached a deal, I thought he was going to attack. I then contacted the General Manager and I returned to be given an excellent salesman named Saurav who more than likely sold me on buying from Herb Chambers. He was low key, credible, helpful and polite and didn't bring any heavyweights over to deal with me. I would give it five stars were it not for my first encounter. I paid in full for the car without financing yet found out they did a hard check on my Credit Report. I didn't understand this. Ask about it before you sign if not planning to finance thru them. Update May, 2019: New location harder to reach. Big cost cutting effort converted donuts, pastries and muffins to cheap cookies and potato chips. No more car wash before turning car back to you...instead you get a free wash in some Dorchester location which nobody other than locals would go to.

Victor was the best salesman that I ever had. Much Better than IRA Audi or BMW Peabody, they are absolutely terrible. I stopped and moved from brand to brand due to poor service. Those companies could learn a thing or two from Victor.
He took the time to explain the features of the vehicle and answered all of my questions and concerns. He went above and beyond and personally delivered what he promised.
I highly recommend anyone to ask for Victor. His style and sales approach is very easy, low pressure while attentive to your purchase criteria.
He is very genuine and thoughtful with his follow ups.

Don't ever buy a car from them the extended warranty they sell it to you there will screw you over it when you go to the service department the extended warranty is nothing the service manager it's like a talking to a wall take your money somewhere else
I have been a loyal customer of HB-Honda for over 10 years. Never missed a payment, always took my old and new Honda cars for service here.The place was very good when it was in Comm Ave. location. The new location is very caotic and does not feel like a professional environment where you would feel comfortably make a decision to buy a car. My lease buyout process took almost 4 months!! I wasted many hours (business) over the phone with both Honda and HB to understand and the fix the issues. I am very disappointed with the whole process. I will NEVER EVER use this place for buying a car or my existing Honda services. It was such a frustrating process that I may actually even buy a Honda again from anywhere.

I purchased an odyssey for my family and after 4 days i realised i went way over budget and had made a big mistake. Brian McCaffery was my sales person and he never once made me feel uncomfortable about my decision to return the car. He helped me furthermore after the return was put in. My only complaint is that i have to keep following up with them on getting my down payment refunded. Its been 3 days and there is no activity with my bank which means they arent even attempting to put it through. I didnt think it would be like this with the way they handled themselves so far. I reached out to their GM in purchasing the vehicle i might have to reach out again if this keeps going the way its going. Unhappy to say the least.

We purchased a pre-owned 2016 Honda CR-V, and did extensive research online prior to coming in to test drive it. The carfax report was clean, accident free, low mileage, only 1 previous owner (overall a great deal), and nowhere in the pictures or descriptions online did it mention or show damage to the exterior. When we test drove the vehicle, everything also looked new and clean, but it was raining, which may have glossed over the damage.
We picked the vehicle up two days later after the purchase and noticed a large scratch in the passenger rear along with a large dent (and when we looked back at the pictures online, we did notice a significant glare over the rear passenger door that made it difficult to see any damage). When we picked up the car, our salesperson disappeared, and his assistant just gave us the key and registration and told us we were all set. We requested a copy of the contracts we had signed during the purchase, and were told they would be sent to us in the mail within 30 days, even though we were initially told we would have the copies in hand when picking up the car. We left that day with the intention of taking it in to our trusted mechanic to ensure we weren't sold anything faulty, and to ask their advice on how to buff out the dent and scratch.
Unfortunately, our mechanic showed us that the dent was significant enough that it would let in air and water and would ultimately damage the interior, so required a door replacement. We brought it back to the dealer right away, demanded they replace the rear passenger door, provide us with a rental to drive in the mean time, and give us the copy of contracts signed that we should have already received.
Herb Chambers Sales Manager agreed to meet these requirements, as it was the right thing to do, but only after extensive interrogation and insinuations that we had done the damage ourselves, as nobody on their team "noticed" it before they sold it to us. Regardless of the fact that they are replacing the door free of cost, we should have never been sold a vehicle in this condition. What we thought was minor cosmetic damage was actually significant and required extensive repair, and it's a waste of our time to have to go through this when we were not informed of any damage during the sale. It was an extremely dishonest thing to do. What's more, our mechanic found evidence that they had tried to cover up the scratch with a Sharpie marker!
We were grossly taken advantage of during this sale, and we will never be taking our business back to this dealership. We hoped that at a larger dealership, they would have been more honest with us, but it's clear now why they tried to speed the sale and car pickup. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.
If you are looking into any pre-owned vehicles here, look elsewhere, or demand inspection outside the dealership beforehand, because it's clear their mechanical team tried to cover up the damage. We are taking before pictures now, because we do not trust them to replace the door without damaging something else.
We feel very taken advantage of, and are extremely dissatisfied with their service.
UPDATE: We were told our vehicle would be ready for pick up from the service center on Friday, 5/19, "mid-morning". We arrived at 3pm to be told our vehicle was not yet ready. We did not receive any phone call from the service center ahead of time indicating the vehicle was not ready, so it was a waste of our time to travel to the dealership during a heavy traffic hour. We returned the rental this afternoon with Enterprise, and they almost charged us $42.50 because the dealership also told them our vehicle would be ready by Friday and we would drop the rental off by Friday at noon. Thankfully, Enterprise seemed to be quite familiar with Herb Chamber Honda in Boston's incompetence and quickly reversed the charge and billed it to the dealership.
We have never been so frustrated and disappointed with a significant purchase, and we will never take our business here again.

No respect for their clients time. I was to pick up my car this afternoon. I notified the sales rep before I left home and he told me to wait 30 mins to sit with their financial department and 90 mins later, I m still waiting. Unreal!

Can t say enough great things about Herb Chambers Honda- Boston. Going into any dealership to go buy your first car can be intimating, but meeting Travis Earle, made all the worries go away. Travis listened to all my wants and needs when looking for the perfect used car to buy. He was very attentive throughout the entire process and never once made me feel pressured- he made the process stress free. Not only did he accommodate to my needs but he also made sure to be there with any lingering questions that I had afterwards. I imagined buying a car to be a hassle and time consuming but Herb Chambers Honda in Boston, and salesman James Shaughnessy helped make this experience an enjoyable one. I walked in not knowing exactly what I wanted but with a limited idea. James was diligent in helping me pick the right car, and at the right price!!! It did not take long to decide on the right car for me, and I can honestly say James's knowledge of the vehicles proved to be time efficient. The process moving forward with paperwork was painless, and I drove away with my car the next day!

We tried in our car and purchased brand new Honda from Herb Chambers. At first we found this place through our bank's car buying services, then the person reach out to me and we we made an appointment to see the car and for them to evaluate our old car for trade in. First disappointment was the that person called me a few times to make sure that I go and ask for her (even 3 minutes us getting there). However when we just there she did not show up, I had to wait for someone to help us. Then she came out saying oh Hi, here's the car and this guy will help you. I was annoyed at the beginning honestly, like what was the point that you made me wait for you.. But I am so glad that new guy who helped us was Paul! He is such a nice person, even the process got longer and both of us got frastruated for the delays due to holiday hours, Paul was always nice to us and tried his BEST to make things happen even if was passed time and understood our rush. It took us a few days to complete the process, but Paul was with us through the process and handles my 'annoying customerness' very nice and friendly (like he knew us for a long time). We worked with Dewayne during the financing paperwork, he is nice too, and was there even after 8pm to finish the paperwork up. There was this another lady who stayed after her work hours (2more hours) to wait for the document come from our insurance, she helped with our car plate/registration, I am sad I didn't meet her and say thank you, but I am very grateful. Because of her we could pick our car up before weekend! Only critisism I have about this Honda Herb Chambers, they are very unorganised. People who work there are sweet but when things don't get handled in a way it suppose to be, that unorganiseness delays the process sometimes. All in all, we had good experience and I am very happy Paul Watson was helping us and really wish he gets promotion!
Bought multiple Hondas over the years and this was the worse dealership experience I've had. Bait and switch. Internet salesperson gave official looking quote for the car we wanted, but the dealership doesn't have it because their computer guy is "unable to see current inventory". Of course, they do have the higher trim available for a lot more money. Salesman kept disappearing to consult with his manager. Amazing that there are still dealerships around using these tactics.
Came in to get an oil change a week ago. Waited three hours for the oil change after being told it would be an hour and a half. Two days later I'm driving down the highway and my engine guard nearly completely falls off. I look under the car and they only replaced on screw to reattach it after changing the oil. I called the service department, explained what happened, and they tell me to come in Monday to get it fixed. I wait another three hours Monday to find that they don't have the replacement parts despite the fact that I called ahead and told them it was in pieces after being dragged on the highway a day prior. They tack it back up temporarily. I'm told to come back Thursday and it'll be all squared away. I'm currently two and a half hours into that appointment. I had to explain again what happened and that I'm not ok with an engine guard that's in pieces because someone forgot to reattach it after changing my oil. Nine hours of waiting and three trips back to get a simple oil change, not mention an engine guard detaching on the highway. I understand mistakes happen, but this is entirely unacceptable. Spend your money elsewhere.
Everyone was very welcoming and polite. Keith Banks the sales consultant was very patient throughout my car shopping process. The sales manager Alex Perez followed up with me before closing out the sale and made sure I walked away a happy customer! Would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family.
I've been there half a dozen times for routine warranty maintenance on my Toyota Prius. The service has been good - no complaints here. Staff is very friendly. And they have coffee and muffins for you to enjoy if you wait while your car is being serviced.
I brought my CRV in because the brake light was on intermittently; no noises just the light off and on. To the surprise of my wallet I needed new brakes. Malissa provided excellent service. She was able to apply some coupons to get the price down to the quoted amount. Malissa is extremely professional and cares about her clients. When I go back to Herb Chambers I will definitely ask for Malissa as my service advisor.
Noah assigned me to Mike for the possible purchase of a Honda CRV. He was sub-standard as a salesman for the first day we discussed about the car, at times impatient and wanted to straight up hard sell. As I came back the following day he seemed again extremely impatient and was reluctant to answer any questions I may have, one word answers were the most I would get out of him. Despite all that, I ignored his rude demeanor and was happy with the offer. As I was about to sign the deal I asked him if it was too late to change the color of the car, thinking this may be a trivial task. Mike simply said "No" and there was a pause. I asked well why not? His answer was, get this: "because it was the end of the day and I want to go home". FYI, it was exactly 6:42PM - the dealership closes at 7, I wouldn't imagine it would take more than 20 minutes to sign the papers considering I'm paying in cash. Needless to say I left right away - I didn't want to inform his boss because that's simply not the person that I am. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as he may have had a bad day. Nonetheless, this was by far the worst experience I've had in any sales situation for any product I've purchased. The ironic thing about Mike was that he has a poster print out next to his desk that reminds him to "start each day with a positive attitude" or somewhere along those lines. The sales associate who sat next to Mike seemed very informative and attentive to his customers. My advice to you guys is this: next time you decide to purchase a car at this location, do not let the sales associate direct you to Mike. Pick anyone else but, and I promise you won't have a bad day there.

I love Herb Chambers Honda in Boston. Many dealerships were visited before I went to Herb Chambers in Boston, including other H-C locations (south shore... cough cough). The folks in Boston gave me the best experience I've ever had or witnessed in a dealership.
From the start when I called in for pricing and availability, to the end when I picked up my car; everyone on the team was knowledgeable, helpful and available.
Lastly: They were just plain cool. They are good people that genuinely listen to what you want and help you get what you need.
Updating my review now that we ve finally bought out our lease, I am thrilled to be free of Herb Chambers. We planned on buying our lease out the entire time, and we still received incessant streams of offers to lease a new car. When we walked in to buy it, the sales lady said Oh don t worry, when you see our offers you ll lease again. How about you listen to your customers?
The process of buying out the lease was the most painful thing you can imagine. We had to leave our car there for two days for an inspection (which inexplicably cost $400), and then when they said it was ready, we still waited TWO AND A HALF HOURS to pick it up.
Disrespectful of their customers, pushy as hell, and awful to deal with. Go ANYWHERE else.
I was treated with respect and dignity when I emailed Herb Chambers about a Honda CRV that I saw online. I was recently in an accident that totaled my previous vehicle.I needed another vehicle and was shown a 2014 Honda CRV, given a test drive and realized it was the car for me. I wasn't pressured by the great staff at Herb Chambers to buy a new vehicle. I was helped with the financing and today I'm driving the 2014 Honda CRV that I looked at online. I really appreciate what Herb Chambers did for me and my family and would purchase another vehicle from them when the occasion arises. Thank you to everyone at Herb Chambers Honda of Boston for a pleasant shopping experience.
There were a few issues and delays, but my sales person, Marvin Jean, was able to solve all of them and was truly available to me and extremely good to work with.
We went in for a pre-owned but walked out with a new one, thanks to Mr. Saurav ! He was very informative, and cared about what we wanted and not didn't push into what would be good for us. He just then options that really worked for us! Just happy to see people like him working there who care most about customer's choices. We are really happy with the deal we got from them and have already recommended another couple to get in touch with him.
