My wife and I just moved to Charlotte from San Jose. We were looking for a midsize SUV to replace the smaller SUV we sold in Cali. Think we drove every make and model of midsize SUV there is before settling on the Cayenne. We first looked at a 2017 Cayenne. Unfortunately, the color combinations for used SUV s generally seems to run either black or white. But there was a purple 2019 Cayenne on the lot which hit every item on our list of wants. I did wish the process was a little shorter, it seemed like I spent a lot of time waiting to sign the final documents also I felt like the interest rate wasn't the best for someone who has excellent credit but with that being said my salesman and overall experience were EXCELLENT!
I drove into Hendrick Porsche on Independence Ave., Charlotte looking for my dream car. As I peeked into some cars in front of the show room a salesman (Herman McCrae) with a huge smile and friendly demeanor approached me asking if I needed help. I did! He asked me what I was looking for and off we went checking out their stock. My dream car was not on the lot. But, Herman stayed the course and did research to put me in my car. In the end my perfect car was made in Germany and shipped over. Herman was professional, diligent and listened to my needs and wants. My personal name is going on the bill of sale and if I shared that piece of info with your car salesmen that I may ship the car I dont know how that would matter for you or influence the decision to sell me the car.
Original review: a dealer with discriminatory practices. I reached a verbal agreement with Greg and Aldy on a 2016 certified Cayenne S E-Hybrid with a promise of a call back to take my credit card info for a deposit on the car until I get the wiring info from Greg so I can wire the funds immediately. after waiting a few minutes I called back and left numerous voicemails to both. It has been 24 hours with no call back, I reached back today to the sales manager only to be told he would rather sell it to a local buyer because they rather earn the after sales business from service and parts and me being out of town from Houston TX they cant get that from me. A verbal agreement is a binding contract in Texas I am not sure about the laws of NC but very low professionalism from a Porsche Dealership and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB for refusing to sell me a car because I am out of state.
We had a great experience with Greg Bancroft! We stopped in a few months ago to learn about the Macan. I immediately liked Greg s personality and sales style. The 911 had been my dream car for as long as I can remember, but being 6'6" I was uncertain if the latest version would actually be comfortable for me. I went to Hendrick to check out the car, and my salesperson (Richard Reynolds) was incredibly helpful. We spent well over an hour just going over different seat options to make sure I had the best fit. Richard also had me driving for extended periods in the car (about a 45 minute 'test drive') to make sure it was going to be livable. Regarding options, I stayed more along the lines of power versus appearance, and Richard's knowledge of the PDK, the Sport Chrono and PSE were relied upon heavily. I think I'm the first customer to order to Powerkit from him, and he's asked me for a real-world review of that option to better help the next guy.
Hendrick Porsche itself has proved to be very customer friendly as well. The negotiation process was smooth, the service has been top-notch, and the communication of dealer events has been great. These guys will be selling me my next Porsche as well.

In August my wife and I began exploring the Porsche Cayenne. Having never been a Porsche owner, we had a lot of questions about the brand. Hendrick Porsche has acquired an outstanding service writer. My AC failed this past weekend. I called to get in for repair and Vince Clapp handled my service. He was very polite and empathetic as he delivered the unpleasant news about a wait - either leaving my car overnight or getting a loaner vehicle end of week. On Saturday I scheduled for Friday since I needed the loaner. He called back within minutes finding a loaner for me that same day. When I got to the dealership he handled paperwork quickly and scooted out to assist me getting items from my car. Shortly after I got home he called with an update that the technician was already working on my vehicle and he provided an estimate. Another update Monday letting me know exactly what Stephanie the technician had discovered. Brief wait on an odd part and my vehicle was ready Wednesday. I ve done business with Hendrick dealerships many years and have been fortunate to work with an extraordinary service writer. I think Vince Clapp will be an award winning writer for the Hendrick group!

I have definitely noticed a change in the dealership for the better since my first visit about 5 years ago. The first time I came in to check out a Cayenne, NO ONE talked to me. I walked around inside the showroom and had to ask for a salesman. It was a non-busy Friday a little before noon. No one else was even in the showroom. I had actually written you guys off, but I m always willing to give second chances.....and I m glad I did! My last couple of times, either by myself or with my 3 boys, have been great experiences. TOTALLY night and day different from my first experience years ago!

I recently purchased a 2015 911 4 GTS from Hendrick Porsche and was very happy to work with Herman McCrae to close the deal. It is important to note that I live 600 miles from Charlotte, and Herman was extremely helpful and patient in addressing the many questions I had about the car. He also handled the trade of my Boxster from long distance, which I greatly appreciated. On the day of the sale, he arranged pick-up at the airport and had me in and out the door of the dealership in about an hour so that I could hit the road to drive home. Went to Hendrick for a pre-purchase inspection on a 2016 Porsche Macan. Given the car was from another dealership, I wasn't sure what to expect. Their service center looked state of the art, and the staff was hospitable and friendly - treated my like I was a long-time customer!
Chris Cavazos was my service advisor, and did a great job with the inspection and follow-up. I ended up purchasing the car, and going back to Hendrick for CPO warranty work and additional upgrades. Such a pleasant entry into the Porsche brand, this dealership is first class!

I spent 3 hours at the dealership yesterday while my car was being worked on. I can't begin to tell you what a great experience I had. There were 3 lounges to hang out in. A great TV to watch. A professional racing simulator to mess around with. Complimentary snacks, drinks, and wifi. And they bought me lunch from a local restaurant - and it was really good! Tito was awesome and so was Tiffani at the front desk. And Tanner, the head mechanic, pulled me into the shop and patiently went over all the details of my car while it was up on the lift. Dare I say that Hendrick Porsche just might be one of the best dealerships on the planet. Great job everyone.

I had been searching for a 991.1 in a certain colour combination and spec for quite a while. I found a 2013 at Hendrick Porsche in Charlotte NC that ticked all the boxes. I contacted the dealership and Amy Cook (Internet Sales Manager) put me in contact with Greg Dressel to guide me through the process of buying the car. Greg answered all of my questions, provided a complete history of the car and convinced me that this was the one. Unfortunately, as I live in AZ, a prior commitment did not allow me to purchase the car immediately. I hoped that it would be available after that commitment, and it was! I met Greg at the dealership to complete the sale. The car was exactly as Greg had described, better even! After the test drive we signed all the paperwork and she is now mine. Thanks to Padej Yakamna and his "magic board" for making the process seamless. This is the best experience I have had when purchasing an automobile. Greg went above and beyond what I was expecting. From our initial conversations, to meeting in person, and the shipment of the car to AZ, Greg nailed it! If I ever buy another Porsche, I will seek out Greg to be the one I buy it from. Greg Bancroft was super easy to work with. We called him and told him exactly what vehicle we wanted to look at and scheduled an appointment. The second service experience was great. The service manager spoke to me directly and addressed my complaints. They did provide a proper Porsche as a loaner and gave excellent service on all other fronts. It says a lot that a company did listen to a customer and do their best to ensure a great experience. I will be visiting again.
The second service was a 5 star experience but I can only give 4 due to the first experience.
I have consistently had great experiences at Hendrick Porsche. Not only was the service amazing, but the people who work here are extremely helpful and kind. You are always greeted with a smile and the team works together to get you in and out quickly. I take my 2011 Porsche Panamera there to be serviced and I work with Shane Carelock and Mike Pellet. I ve ordered mats from Todd Holland and he always has their Porsche store setup so nicely. The GM David Foster has taken time out to discuss cars with me, even though I know he is very busy. Also they have the best snacks out of all of the Hendrick Dealerships! :) I truly recommend purchasing and servicing your vehicle with their dealership, you will not be disappointed!
