I spent several days here, I'm from out of state. It is wonderful that they collaborate with other gardens around the country, so if you have a membership at an affiliate place you get two free entries and then a reduced price. This is a must see for anyone!

Of the best gardens in the USA. Very beautiful Japanese gardens! My wife and I just love spending time in the tropical gardens during the winter !! So much cheaper by buying the anual pass and trust me- you ll definitely want to return for all of the seasons!! this place changes All the time because of the huge variety of plants!!

We ve come here a come of times and I had no idea there is a little staircase up around a tree nor the secret staircase to see the little ducks. Enter into the building with the waterfall river and head upstairs to explore!

The only con is that I wish they had a more interactive play place for the kiddos. Even if it was just a small area where they could dig in the dirt and learn about gardening etc. I think a mini splash pad would be a bigger hit though

I absolutely loved the tropical room and the orchid showcase! The orchids and citrus plants smelled amazing. I went on a snowy day so I didn't see much of the outdoor gardens, but it's definitely something to look forward to in the Spring.

We attended Blossoms of Light on Christmas eve, and it was glorious! The organization of the volunteers made this event safe and enjoyable for all. The lights were creatively done and the gardens were transformed into a magical wonderland!

We've been twice now, once for Halloween and once for their tulip festival and both times were very enjoyable and worth the price of admission. We will definitely go back for other seasonal events as well as just to see the regular displays.

This garden is lovely with a lot of variety including some indoor displays. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I imagine in the winter months you would see less plant life but it's still a nice place to walk around. Don't miss the Chihuly glass sculpture in the back of the gardens.

What a lovely big garden! If I loved here I would get an annual pass. So quaint, welcoming, and peaceful. The staff was very nice and sweet, and made sure we knew where everything was. The Japanese garden and tea House was amazing!

Attended the Off the Clock: Secret Garden event her on March 1st. It was really nice to walk through the tropical conservatory at night and learn about the different plants. The guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. There were fun activities and booths, live music and food. A truly memorable event.

Great way to spend a spring/summer/fall day. Lots to see! Kids might not have much fun unless there is a kid specific activity that day. Be prepared to walk a lot, but there are more than enough benches to sit, rest, and enjoy the views. Water features all over, some wildlife such as birds, bunnies, bunnies frogs etc. Plants from around the world, from local to tropical, and everything in between! Highlights were the tropical green house and the various small winding paths through the gardens.

Loved it! Went there on a whim because we were waiting for a lunch reservation. Were not disappointed at all. We came back after lunch and really enjoyed all they had to offer. A real gem in Denver.

This review is for the "Blossoms of Light" display at the Denver Botanical Gardens. This is my first time attending this holiday show and I will be back! If there is one thing I look forward to during the Christmas season, it is Christmas lights! No animatronics, no singing cartoon characters, and no overt commercialization of the season - just 24 acres of lights! I grew up looking forward to driving around neighborhoods to look at light displays so the "Blossoms of Light" are a wonderful fix for self profest "light addicts" like myself! Sets the season tone for me from now on!

One of the many places I was told to visit while in the Denver area and for the 12.50 you are getting one heck of an experience. Well maintained and absolutely gorgeous fauna. I took a thousand photos it was that beautiful! Thank you staff and volunteers! A must visit for sure!

It is a perfect place, you can buy tickets both in automatic machines and at the counter (to avoid lines). The garden is equipped with everything, there is a small museum with a series of visual and auditory explanatory material. You will also find sculptural works, fountains, paths and all kinds of plants with their scientific explanation in both English and Spanish. The souvenir shop is very good and the residential area where it is located is in itself very beautiful.

A truly wonderful experience for anyone visiting Denver. Or living here for a day trip. Don't discount the option in the winter, it's still a great experience in the winter and as a bonus it's far less crowded! Lovely staff, great places to stop and reflect, excellent food and great gift shop.

Incredibly well manicured gardens which are designed and maintained by trained horticultural professionals welcome visitors into a world of botanical wonder. Most plants are well labeled and a garden navigator app helps visitors to know exactly what they are looking at. Even for those not well acquainted with plants, the well-designed gardens still provide a relaxing and awe-inspiring retreat from the bustle of the busy city just outside its walls. Benches and seating areas around the gardens invite rest, contemplation, or even a place to eat the picnic lunch you brought with you as outside food is permitted inside. If you didn't bring a lunch, the Hive Garden Bistro provided a variety of lunch options as well. Or you could enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Offshoots Cafe in the main building near the Water-Smart garden. So whether you are a plant enthusiast or a person looking for some rest in the beauty of God's cultivated beauty, Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street is the place to be.

Tough to review since many of the main attractions were closed due to Covid-19.
With that said, the area was still very clean and maintained well. All of the plants and trees were gorgeous!

They are doing a good a good job at keeping things clean for everyone and also doing a good job at reminding everyone to wear their masks. I got a slap on the wrist once too for having my mask down after taking a drink from my coffee.

I would have hoped there was a bit of a discount with so many parts of the park closed, but it was still full price. That is the only reason for my 4 stars.
