I can see how this would be awesome during summer and spring but I don't recommend going in mid-november. The tropical garden was cool but the bonsai tree display that the guy up front told us not to miss and teahouse were closed. The rest of the grounds look dead and unkempt. They should really make it half or third of the price when only a couple things are open and worth seeing. I heard good things about going even in the fall but I don't recommend it.

Love the botanical gardens, definitely worth getting an annual pass if you live in the area and want a park day experience boosted by gorgeous flowers! Love the variety of biomes, and the tulips this year were breath taking! Great to see the different flowers every season.

If I could come here every day, I would. This is a wonderful place to go alone or with a friend or two. The venues are amazing and the categorized gardens make my heart sing. I especially love the spice garden. Bring a book, your camera, put some headphones in, or just wander aimlessly in silence. A day at the botanic gardens is never wasted. There is something there for everyone.

This botanical garden is absolutely lovely! Visited with my husband, child and parents in law. Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. It was absolutely beautiful. Parking was kind of a pain, but it was more than worth it. Highly recommended you visit with your family!

Fabulous, gorgeous place. The children s garden is full of fun activities, and the kit you can borrow from the front desk is genius. In the main garden, you learn so much about plants and flowers from all over, and exhibits are always changing, so there s always something new and beautiful to see. It s great for a long walk, a date, a focused visit, whatever you like. This place is well worth a membership.

Wow, where to begin. I've never been any place like this before. Every plant you could ever imagine is here. Loved the indoor tropical areas. Some of the names for areas are quite deceiving and can be a bit disappointing. Lot of different areas to cover, so come early. Also, if it's hot, don't forget a nice big hat.

I flew to Denver to visit family. My daughter had my granddaughter's birthday at the Botanical garden (organic) and after the party we had a special pass and enjoyed the Christmas lights.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the gardens are pleasant and well organized. There's a grassy venue space that doubles as a fun spot for your kids to run free or roll down a hill if they need to get the sillies out. And, even on a free day, it was not congested or uncomfortable.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon while in Denver! Not photographed, but we had the Ruben sandwich from the cafe as well. It was great! There is also a nicely curated gift store with home goods/decor and gift type items.

I love visiting the botanical gardens, this is by far my favorite place to go in Denver. I come here to look at all the beautiful plants and flowers. Downloaded an app called Picture This so I could learn a few new flowers each visit. It s also a great place to have a picnic, I like to go during sunset. Feeding the koi fish is also a fun activity.

Pro Tip: pay a little bit more and become a member, it s totally worth it. You and a guest can enjoy free unlimited entry for a year plus other perks.

We visited on a free day but unfortunately due to bad weather, we re unable to cover everything and they blocked access to few spots inside after 4PM. Best time to visit botanic gardens is in Summer and may be we should plan at that time of year again.

Such a well-thought out urban garden! At 25 acres, it is less than half the size of my local botanic garden, but it crams in so much more. I especially liked the Japanese gardens & bonsais, and the arid northern gardens toward the back. It is unfortunate that the indoor attractions were closed, but given the nature of the pandemic, their absence is completely reasonable.

Just an amazing display of flowers, sculpture, trees, water. We stayed for hours and hours...lunch was yummy. People were friendly...a dedicated group of patrons and volunteers have made me very proud to be a Denver native.

So so good for any plant or outdoor lover. Very relaxing, lots of places to sit, places to eat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The greenhouses aren't open to the public, but they looked amazing.

Always a lovely time. The Bistro has amazing food with helpful, friendly staff that manage the busiest times with ease. I love it! I drive from the Springs to get there and it is worth the trip.

The tropical gardens was so impressive. Besides it being big I was impressed on how they keep tropical flowers in a cold city.
Also I was lucky to get the tulips all flowering. Amusing to the eyes and the smell.
Definitely worth the visit, specially in spring.

Omg freaking beautiful! Yes it is an expensive trip (we came up from Colorado Springs) but was well worth every dime. Warning: the tropical green house lives up to its name and can be brutal if you don't like heat or humidity.

Loved the Christmas lights. Would have been nice to see more active lights and holiday music piped throughout. For the price it would have been a great touch to give complimentary hot chocolate or apple cider but I think it's definitely something people should go and see.
