I placed an order on Basspro.com, a Daiwa Tatula SV Baitcast Reel and Daiwa Tatula Elite Casting Rod. Was told these items were being shipped from Daiwa Corporation and then got a message that they would be here on Monday 5/11/2020, they were not delivered. Then received email and text that they were on the FedEx truck out for delivery on Tuesday 5/12/2020, guess what they didn t get delivered nor Wednesday 5/13/2020. I got the Daiwa Tatula Elite Casting Rod today 5/14/2020 but not the Daiwa Tatula SV Baitcast Reel. My notifications still tell me it s on the truck out for delivery. Very disappointed that I won t be able to use it this weekend to fish, kind of hard to fish with a new rod when you don t have the new reel. I know the issue is with FedEx so your company may need to rethink who you use to ship your products with.

I've been shifting away from Shimano over to Daiwa for over 2 years now, fishing season is over open up the reel found out the magnetic is broke collecting all kind of iron for some time., brought into Daiwa, fill out the piece of paper and wait for 10 minutes .surprisingly is been fixed, make my day, keep up the great service, I think I will buy more Daiwa product soon,. Imagine this is the middle of the fishing season. if this service would be wait out for 2 weeks, I would be very anxious to have it back, but I believe this should be the standard of service

Being an owner of many fine Daiwa reels, Chris offered to send me two different O ring's that may help resolve the non packaged essential part for the Prorex 3020 spinning reel handle. This was extremely generous of him and shows first hand that Daiwa's commitment to it's customers and products is far beyond what most manufacturer's consider "customer care".
This makes it very important to know that if you order online, make sure you are aware of the region your products warranty/service will be contracted through. If you buy Daiwa USA, it will be serviced and or repaired in the USA. I unintentionally purchased a Daiwa Scandavian product when I ordered the Prorex 3020 off of eBay's site.
Ask the vendor if it is a Daiwa USA product which is warranted here, and you will be assured that you are going to have your reel serviced here in America, if and when the time comes.
