Heerlickheijd van Ermelo Review

This year cozy with family consisting of grandma, grandpa, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren attended 3 days with New Year's Eve party. We enjoyed in general but at the New Year's Eve some less fun things like the music until half past eleven a man formation that was in very good mood the dance floor was full but then a change with DJ the mood gone no one on the dance floor a little later a few people who love 70s disco music the rest the large majority was no longer discussed so unfortunate, better let the one-man formation continue to play. However, the most annoying thing was that we saw our table lady maybe 3 or 4 times during the entire evening and then we had to call her or beckon. so hard to order drinks. when I myself walked to the bar that was not manned at that time and the lady came calling, I asked her for a bottle of water, it was pushed into my hand so I was just served to wait staff, this really is not possible. Food was great. enjoyed the pool and also delicious bowling. If there were a few more serving staff for next year and no D.J. then we are sure of the party again.

Beautifil, comfortable, great wellness and gym, very good breakfast! Very nice rooms. 2 times there and I love it.

Luxurious appearance, room was a bit dark upon entering. May come in a little more atmosphere.

Quiet location near the cycling nodes and the forest.

Top location. Very nicely located. Great room and very friendly staff. Relax day and night. Just a pity that the bar was not open in the evening. We wanted to have a drink. The use of swimwear in the swimming pool should also have been clearly stated. We don't like dressing on and off from sauna to swimming pool. I didn't even have swimwear with me. Furthermore really enjoyed! Thanks!

I went to a church service, which was pretty good. It might have been made a bit clearer where the event was.

Great hotel in the middle of the Veluwe, only downside is that you have no balcony or terrace.

I have mainly been here for various conferences. The building is well maintained and is ideal for attending plenary sessions as well as smaller workshops. The layout also lends itself well to mutual consultation between sessions.
There is wifi available. In good weather you can sit outside on the terrace. There is also a cozy sports bar that is perfect for drinks to round off the day.
Hotel rooms are basically fine.
The area is ideally suited for a possible walk given the wooded area.

An excellent experience, the rooms were clean and quiet environment, food was good staff friendly, have cycled wonderfully and enjoyed 2 evenings in the sauna, feel fully charged again, definitely recommended and hope to come back again

Value for money within the restaurant was out of order, very unfortunate.

Was terribly disappointing. Beds where the headboard sagged considerably. Just went to sleep with a pillow on the foot of the bed. Dinner service had no structure at all. No wine with the starter. There is no saying sorry. You don't feel welcome at all. Drinking coffee in the hall IIS is not there. Takes half an hour before we got the coffee. Veek people had the same. Bill was not correct either. The night had already been paid and was back on the bill. A staff member heard that the complaints were known but at the reception they pretended that this had never been said. Got 41 euros back after the complaints.
The saying came to me ... even though a monkey wears a gold ring it is and remains an ugly thing ...
Never again.

Nice environment and a quiet hotel. There is only something strange, I book 2 rooms for us and my son. We take the summer package, 1 evening dinner and 2x breakfast for 3 days. You pay 114 euros per person, clearly. But now I have to pay 2x40 extra because my son only uses a room. Nowhere in the conditions can this be found, or am I not looking well enough. If you enter a booking for 1 person, this will not appear. I booked by phone and didn't hear anything then either. Remains strange

Wonderful beds, great breakfast, friendly staff. We found it strange that the lady in the bar only spoke English. Beer quite expensive: 25 cl 3.30.

Special, beautiful location. Beautiful gardens and wooded area where you can walk! Friendly welcome, several bars and restaurants, beautiful meeting locations. We did not sleep there. Had breakfast; that was nice.

Was at a meeting. Coffee provision beforehand was dramatic. The result is a long queue

We got married on the 4th of July 2014. I can't thank the Staff enough for making my day the most wonderful day of my life. I want to Send a Special THANK YOU to
Ms. Doutry and Mr Van Dalfsen for going over and beyond. It is not easy when you don't speak Dutch and trying to organize a wedding and the details that goes into it.
I first started communicating with Ms.Doutry, she was a delight to work with. Then she got moved to another section to my horror. This is where Mr Van Dalfsen took over. He was very kind,understanding and most of all excellent replacement for Ms Doutry. I like to communicate via email so, I can keep track of what changes I made. The few times I did get to speak to him, he went over and beyond to take care of Hotel reservations for guests who were flying in from abroad. Then he met with us a week before the wedding to make sure everyone and everything was in order. From the food the wedding, Breakfast the next day, to the music system, everything he took care of all on his own. The head waitress was very attentive and waiters were very polite and did an excellent job. Mr Van Dalfsen "Thank you" very much for all your hard work!!

Incredibly beautiful place, beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, the waiters are rude to the point where I had to speak to one of the waiters since he was really rude to one of our table companions. Nice, spacious (but warm weather with nice) rooms.

Well cared for hotel, beautiful surroundings and wonderful beauty center. Extra facilities such as fitness center and swimming pool / sauna. Friendly staff.

Wij hebben erg genoten van dit fijne mooie hotel. Eten was gewoon goed en het ontbijt over compleet. Personeel zeer aardig. Slaapkamers missen een mooie afwerking.

Supermooi hotel, met werkelijk alles erop en eraan: heerlijk eten, mooi zwembad, wellness en een bowlingbaan. Zeer mooie omgeving om te fietsen!

Super good food, large room with nice beds and clean bathroom. Lots of choice of food at breakfast. There was also a nice and professional service!

The garden is beautiful. The dining room was somewhat less in terms of acoustics. The room was fine.

Betaalbaar en heel goed hotel. Goed en vakkundig personeel.
Kamers zijn heel netjes net zoals het hele hotel. Hier komen wij zeker terug.
We zijn hier nu vele malen geweest en het is goed vertoeven hier bij de Heerlickheijd van Ermelo. Vanaf het terrein van het hotel loop je zo de bossen in en kan je uren geweldig lopen.
Op loopafstand zijn diverse restaurantjes en is het centrum van Ermelo waar alles te vinden is.
In de omgeving is het ideaal voor wandel- en fietstochten. Hier zijn onderweg heerlijke plekjes te vinden. Zo is er voor een kopje koffie met wat lekkers of een heerlijke lunch in Drie Boshuis Drie en even verderop De Zwarte Boer. Dit zijn twee heerlijke plaatsen waar je tijdens een fietstocht kan genieten van veel lekkers.
Dus wil je een mooie omgeving of alleen maar genieten bij het hotel dan is de Heerlickheijd van Ermelo de plek!

Hotel is great in a nice area. Restaurant was great value for money.
What is worth a note is the terribly poor wifi connection. Then don't advertise with it if you can't live up to it!

On arrival just a nice coffee in the restaurant .. 20 minutes later, yes you read that right, there was still nothing !! And the restaurant was virtually empty, huh !? So how busy can you be, sigh .. I walked all the way to the front to ask where the coffee was. Of course I don't want to make that effort at all! I'm out for a night, I want some rest and I want coffee! Sure enough, they were standing there, beating in a corner. When I finally got my second coffee much later, the blonde 'lady' who brought it (and who, by the way, wore different clothes than the rest (this for the management, maybe they will know who it is !!)) 'Was this one? fast enough? "chuckled dirty and walked away. We were baffled. Really baffled. Incredibly rude and unacceptable.

I have more to criticize, but my girlfriend has already done that, I will not repeat that here. The above, what happened to us, I thought was the very worst!

Een hotel waar je prima kan verblijven op een mooie locatie. Het personeel is vriendelijk doch wat onervaren. Het eten in het restaurant smaakt goed. Mooi op smaak en voldoende variatie. Prima portie voor het bedrag wat je betaalt. Het drinken vind ik relatief duur. De wijn vond ik wat miniem geschonken. De jonge sommelier hierop aangesproken. Deze reageerde laconiek en lacherig, wat het geheel niet ten goede kwam. Vragen om afruim of en doekje over de tafel, moet je geduld bij hebben. De bediening bij het ontbijt waren vlijtig. Ze hebben het in corona tijd ook erg druk. Dit was prima in orde behalve het sap wat niet vers is. De koffie is waterig en is massa productie (WMF machine, Duitse hotel standaard). Voor goede koffie, zou ik buiten het hotel restaurantje opzoeken.

De kamers net als gedeeltes in het hotel zijn gedateerd. We hadden een lampenkap op de kamer met waterschade. Kamer was wel goed schoon en bed was comfortabel. Wat toch grote plussen zijn. We hadden verschillende kussens waarvan de kwaliteit varieerde. We miste wel een koelkastje op de kamer. De airco/verwarming werkt goed. Daar waren wij ook erg blij mee. Comfort kamers zijn ruim net als de torensuites. We vonden de badkamer van de torensuites wat miniem. Ook de waterdruk en het functioneren van de temperatuur liet te wensen over. De sfeer in het hotel is relaxed. In de lobby kan je zitten om een spelletje te doen en wat te nuttigen. Er zijn spelletjes aanwezig maar ook deze zijn niet altijd meer compleet en toe aan vervanging.

Buitensporig vond ik dat je voor een badjas en een paar wegwerk slippers rond de tien euro per dag per persoon betaald. De Wellness bestond uit een Turks stoombad, twee sauna's, een rust ruimte en een jacuzzi. Prima in orde voor een kleiner hotel behalve dat het Turks stoombad het niet deed. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad of andere faciliteiten.

It is a 4 star hotel but service and accommodation 2 stars. They pretend to be a Wellness but accommodation (sauna) is overdue, poorly maintained, rust, paint frames bad and whirlpool cold. We had reserved a junior suite but was overbooking. Had just been looking forward to it. Further service slow, after being assigned to the table took 15 minutes to get in touch with staff, then helped well. Staff very friendly.

Nice hotel with beautifully kept garden, service is polite. It's nice to be there.

Geen fijne overnachting gehad. Hotel is erg gedateerd. De douche lekte zo erg dat er gewoon een kalkspoor was ontstaan in de douche, de wand van de jacuzzi (die wij op de kamer hadden) viel nog net niet uit elkaar. Midden in de nacht een enorme herrie door het luchtventilatie kanaal? Gebeld wat er aan de hand was waarna je met een simpele oja dat is het luchtventilatie kanaal verhaaltje wordt afgescheept, hier hadden ze al de hele dag last van. Waarschijnlijk zo vaak gezien we oordopjes aangeboden kregen. Nee ik overdrijf niet, je lag er gewoon letterlijk wakker van. Het is dat het voor ons te ver rijden was anders waren we midden in de nacht vertrokken.

Het zwembad rook muf, was vies, het water ijskoud! en de lampen lagen met de bedrading door het water op de rand van het zwembad, nee geen grap. We hebben ons direct weer omgekleed en het zwembad verlaten.

Op het terras zelf de bediening moeten halen omdat dit te lang duurde, voor het afrekenen ook maar zelf naar de bar gelopen gezien ook dit te lang duurde. Medewerkers waren ook veelal erg jong.

Voor de ligging hoef je het echt niet te doen in ruil daarvoor krijg je een hoop ellende, en dan ook voor het geld wat je betaalt, schandalig. Wij zijn na het ontbijt direct vertrokken voor ons was het uitje helemaal verpest.

Large hotel with many options. Friendly staff. Good kitchen.

Beautiful place, beautiful building and terraces, very busy with budget guests. Loud and rude. Food good but not fantastic. Looks like van der valk. Less quality. Room good and tidy. Not modern and somewhat mature, but otherwise fine. Good bed. Recommended if you can handle the crowds.

Everyone was inside, unfortunately it was such nice weather

The staff is quite impersonal and food in restaurant is on time that they indicate due to corona. But it takes a long time to wait for food. We had to indicate 3 times that the TV is interfering. Unfortunately

Stayed 1 night at this hotel last weekend.
Plus points:
- beautiful surroundings and beautiful garden.
- basic but good breakfast
- quality dinner good
Min points:
- Generally very young staff. Quality of service was very variable. Had lunch on arrival. Took 20 minutes before we got our coffee and menu. When we went to ask where it was, we were treated rudely by a slightly older lady.
- Reception staff bad. Little information and at check out not even asked how we found our stay.
- Room clean, but small and dull and shower in bath.
- You must bring your own towel at the pool. Lockers at pool did not work and there was only 1 shower without shampoo.
- Entire hotel exuded some faded glory.

All in all not worthy of 4 stars

Beds are too soft veeeeeeeel. After one night on that bed I had three weeks of back problems.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and large swimming pool although it could have been slightly warmer but this is not a stumbling point. To be repeated

Staff was friendly. Sauna was disappointing. Turkish steam bath smelled very dirty and the temperature in the dry saunas was not specified. Pool water had a weird odor. Hotel room was nice and large unfortunately the furniture was outdated and damaged. The terrace with a delicious wine and a nice evening meal was very tasty! The breakfast buffet was also well organized.
