Only stayed 1 night with 4p. (2adult + 2child). Asked for adjoining rooms with connecting doors and got them. 2 beautiful and sufficiently large rooms with beautiful and modern bathrooms. Good beds!
Good food in the evening and delicious breakfast. Empty battery upon departure. Help asked at the reception and immediately helped, thank you !!!
Here we will come back for sure ... And for longer.

Unfortunately not what it used to be. The rooms for wheelchair users have become very poor after the renovation. In particular, the enormous growth spurt threshold for the bathroom is a drama.

A beautiful hotel with a beautiful location, which offers great opportunities for hiking or cycling. The rooms are nicely furnished with old furniture, but bright. Unfortunately, the wellness area was pretty dirty. In the pool, the dirt was clearly visible in the corners.
All in all, however, a good hotel for a short stay.

Restaurant is very expensive! Too bad that our room with the window is located on the balcony of the neighbors, not really nice if your window is open and they are smoking on the balcony. Room is very spacious and one has a king size bed.

The staff was friendly. That was nice. But it was not really clean. There was dirty greenish stuff between the walls of the Turkish steam bath. The water wasn't very hot and there was something slippery on the floor of the wellness area that I almost slipped on. While we had just booked this hotel for the wellness section. Especially the minus points lay there. We had a wonderful massage here. We enjoyed it very much. This was possible in the duo room so that we could be massaged together at the same time. We didn't stay there very long either. We had only booked for one night. So maybe we were there on a wrong day in terms of cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel has a bus stop nearby that will take you to the city with a stop. The station is a 30-minute walk away. If you are together it is a great walk.

Improving. Service is still 'critical' but they have hired quite some new stuff that is really doing a good Job. No complaints last time.

Very nicely furnished hotel, but partly not really well thought out (e.g. window cannot be opened completely, because bed is in front of it). Especially the garden and the terrace where we always had breakfast are a dream. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. Service was friendly, but mostly spoke Dutch and not English.
Unfortunately, the second night was anything but pleasant. My partner and I both woke up covered in itchy, red stings / bites (not normal mosquito bites). Have also reported this to the hotel, they promised us that they would pass it on to the cleaning staff and look into it. Hopefully the next guests will not feel like us. However, the hotel was otherwise wonderful to switch off and enjoy nature.

A beautiful large double room, which still needs to be renovated. Furniture white and stylish, but laminate is letting go.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant and breakfast. Rooms are fairly simple, but nicely furnished. Could be something more modern. Swimming pool water is very cold and I would add a little more decoration and cosiness. More showers, with a better jet, are also welcome.

Great hotel with a good breakfast. It is beautifully situated in the woods. It is a good starting point for a good walk. Parking is free. The two saunas and steam room were clean. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

Nice location for an event, you just need not be in a hurry with food (day before the event)!

The location of the hotel is excellent - it is on the edge of the forest and it is very quiet all around.
A sufficient number of free parking spaces are available directly in front of the door.
We spent 2 nights there and also visited the swimming pool, which can be visited by every hotel guest at no extra charge. Despite the size of the facility, you can find your way around and we certainly haven't seen everything yet, as we were only out and about during our stay.
Overall, everything went without any problems and we would love to come back here again.

A lovely hotel located on the outskirts of Ermelo and the woods. You are on the cycle paths to the surrounding places

As the name suggests: delicious. A very attentive staff that deals professionally with their profession. A nice climate in the hotel, despite the heat outside! Had a very pleasant experience!

We rent rooms here for the gathering for our church, House of Heroes ... beautiful location

After 1 day / night changed rooms (luckily there was a room available) because the first room smelled terribly of smoke. Even after a day and night airing it did not go away. Second room was fine. Wellness and breakfast were great. But overall price somewhat on the high side.

We went there with mixed feelings there were bad reviews. I can say about this, it was very good. The room, the breakfast, the staff, everyone went out of their way. Worth repeating.

Great hotel. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were great as well.

Formal staying. Clean and friendly personnel. The style is old and the swimming pool somewhat small, but a very nice stay overall

Hotel has a very neat appearance. Professional handling. Swimming pool spacious and clean. A lot of chlorine, which makes it less suitable for children.

Stayed in the Junior suite. Price quality of room far below par. Room decoration very brief. Laminate floor rises. Pillows on beds are decorative pillows. Mattresses old. Bathroom way too small for a suite. General maintenance on room bar bad. Ordered a bottle of wine in room. This was only allowed on the condition that I returned the bottle and glasses myself.

If you want to stay in this hotel, go for the cheapest rooms. The disappointment is less

The hotel itself looks nice, public areas very nice and big too! Staff are very helpful and friendly. But the rooms there on the contrary are very disappointing. The room was very small, old / old-fashioned, bathroom full of mold and very bad beds. For 1 night it was "fine".

Nice hotel. Especially if you have of course received the overnight stay for free. We stayed in the Tower Suite. Nice spacious suite. The disadvantage is that there is little daylight. Now it was also a dark day, so extra dark. Nevertheless. That's what enlightenment is for. In the room a large flat screen and reasonable bed. One mattress was slightly saggy (hole) and the other was fine. In addition, a kettle with accessories. We also found a bathrobe and slippers on the bed. In a suite they are included in the overnight stay. So we didn't have to bring it with us.
Swimming pool and sauna are fine and a nice addition to the stay.
Breakfast buffet was grand. Wide range of different sandwiches, spreads, drinks, egg dishes, etc. of very good quality. Of course also possible if a separate breakfast costs 17.50.
In the brasserie we had something to eat during lunch. There is a difference in approach by the staff. The waiter was very formal. Fortunately, the waitress less so.
All in all, a great recommendation, although we don't know anything about price / quality ratio. After all, we got the overnight stay as a present.

Accessible by public transport from the station nearby. Nice hotel with simple spa.

We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas!
The hotel is very beautifully decorated and for the children there was also a bouncy castle with old Dutch games during the Christmas brunch.

The room was a great room for overnight stay, clean and tidy. We went into the pool, it was quiet only the water was a bit on the cold side. In the area you can walk beautifully.

The service was perfect! Location is beautiful and quiet. Nice Christmas decorations. The room was OK. Furniture needs the best renewed and the room need some color.

Nice hotel, definitely nice for a few days away. Great food and good service. A pity about the loose sheets on the beds, better with fitted sheets. Unfortunately I did get 3 insect bites.

Use of the 'professional bowling alley' competition as stated on the website. Baan contains no oil and pin with strings are used. Suitable for a children's party, but definitely not for the experienced bowler.

Nice and stylish hotel. There are many facilities available in the hotel, so you don't have to be bored for a moment. The facilities that I have used - and can certainly recommend - are: the swimming pool, the bowling alley and the pool area. The restaurant is very nice and cozy and the food is of high quality. The WiFi in the rooms is stable and fast enough to watch Netflix, for example. It's staff are very benevolent and helpful. A beautiful hotel and definitely recommended!

The heerlickheijd van Ermelo is a beautiful hotel in a wooded area. You can spend the night in luxury rooms, the atmosphere is great and a fantastic church service is regularly held on Sundays. Really a place to enjoy. Note the prices!

Impersonal, unadorned complex.
Small - very simple and carelessly furnished rooms ... windows that can only be opened to a limited extent, as the bed is placed in front of them. Hair dryer in the bathroom with little power.
Breakfast goes like this .. nothing great ..
Sauna by no means relaxing, as the sound transmission of the whirlpool is so loud that you might think that an industrial vacuum cleaner is in the room!
Large indoor pool .... well-kept garden.

All in all, however, a simple, honest hotel that knows how to portray itself well.

We spent the night here last weekend, and the staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. You can eat well there. The breakfast is very good. Sauna is clean and the swimming pool is great too, the hotel also has a beautiful garden with fountains. Recommended.

Nice reception and clean luxurious appearance in entrance and public areas. Rooms somewhat dated and small bathroom. No nice finish. Wellness pool was a bit cold. Not been in sauna area. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.

I stayed here last weekend and was generally very satisfied. The only thing I find insufficient is the hygiene. The windows of my room were super dirty, the floors on the -1 floor are full of stains and after my room was cleaned, there were still tissues next to the trash and spilled liquorice were still under the bed.
The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The food is fresh and delicious.
The area is very beautiful and there is plenty of parking.

Uncomfortable breakfast room, and dark. Especially when breakfast celebrates on Easter Monday. Very unfortunate.

Had a bicycle package for 4 people with an overnight stay. The rooms are well furnished, but not my taste. The dinner was brief. The breakfast on the other hand excellent. Our lunch package during the bike ride was above expectations. The (most) staff were friendly and helpful.
