I've stayed here on multiple occasions for work related events and the staff at Hyatt is always extremely pleasant and helpful. They have very nice rooms at affordable rates and offer a lovely breakfast.

The shower didn't work right. It would run for a little while, then stop. Then run for a 2-3 minutes, then stop for 30sec-min.
The room was clean and all of the employees were great from the front desk, to the cleaning and support staff, all were excellent.
The furnishings were worn, edges were chipped, dented and frayed,
Even with the white noise generator, I woke up several times at night from sounds in the hallway to what I think was an air conditioner next door.

Staff awesome, front desk helpful for sure.

Staff awesome, front desk helpful for sure.
The bar staff (especially the ladies) always anticipating the customer...as a former bar tender of 20 years i observe many things in hospitality. These ladies are always informative and knowledgeable on the product, and even the young lady that covers the morning snack bar coffee/tea...always upbeat and imformative.
As a world traveller and on both sides of the hospitality aisle i appreciate the hard work and detail that this hotel covers.

We stayed overnight in May 2013. I like being able to swim when I travel and getting access to a real lap pool was a wonderful bonus. The room was neat. It was high up with a view with lots of storage space. The breakfast/brunch on the hotel first level was nicely prepared. We're a little fussy about breakfast and at least half the time don't want to eat what our hotel offers.

You know what they say, location location location! I ve recommended to my friends and family. Located in the heart of Morristown and newly renovated rooms. Food and drinks are a bit pricey but you have all of Morristown to enjoy from restaurants from around the world, dance clubs, Mayo Center Preforming arts (top acts) historic sites and a great mayor that you won t want to leave

Don t park in the parking garage! You would think a gated garage would have more protection for yoursef and your vehicle.... think again. My vehicle was involved in a hit and run incident in the garage while I was not present. The security team told me there is no cameras present in the area I was parked or at the front gate. Parking garages are notorious for mischief. Knowing that it was gated and under the hotel I thought I would be protected. Next time if there is one I m not parking in the garage instead on the street where there are witnesses and cameras present!

I had visited 2 times. Morristown is a very nice town, and this hotel is in the center of the town. Good to visit restaurants, shopping center and park on foot. I likes large and clean room, AMC in the same building and kind staff.

One of the worst stays on a very important wedding weekend. Check in was confusing and took about an hour as we were placed in the wrong room then moved to a different room. The event coordinators were kind and very accommodating giving me their direct line in case anything happened and later when one of the bridesmaids garment bags was misplaced, they were no where to be found and both unreachable. Only one person manning the front desk when they had 4 other weddings staying at the Hyatt. I asked for the manager several times to which the front desk attendant said I m so sorry he s on the phone he ll be out shortly . 10 minutes later the manager appeared and told me he had watched the security footage of us entering and there was no garment bag that I must have left it somewhere else. I explained the situation with the room mix up and if I could just go into the room we were mistakenly placed in it was most likely in there. The manager was unprofessional and unaccommodating. Only after becoming extremely visibly emotional did another man offer assistance. I m not sure what department he worked in but he had a master key and he gave it to another gentleman, Constantine, and told him to stay with me until I found the bag which was indeed in the room we were mistakenly placed in first. Much thanks to those 2 gentlemen. Although it took over an hour to get anyone to actually help me. On top of this disaster, the event coordinators promised delivery of the grooms belongings from his suite into the bridal suite for the morning after the wedding. That was not done either. To add insult to injury, in the morning when I asked for a late check out, the front desk let me know that they were very full and he stuttered to tell me, I guess we could let you check out at 12pm for an extra... $25? Absolutely ridiculous. Overall experience I d say was unorganized, unprofessional and abhorrent. The convenience of being in the center of town is the only reason this hotel has any business.

ok across the board. room was on 16th floor, fully updated. was attending for a corporate function. -1 star for unbudling breakfast and internet, and -1 more star for internet that only works for 3 minutes and then hijacks your page requests with a 'you are now logged in' page. (even on the cat5)

We stayed here for our nephews wedding. Made reservations months in advance. We were told they would make every effort to get our rooms as close as possible. We were all from out of town. When we checked in our rooms were not ready and we had to wait. We had to move our things ourselves and there was no where to put them!! When rooms were finally ready we were put on totally different floors!! One family per floor nowhere near each other!! We ended up with cold showered both days!! Shortage of hot water. There was a convention of young chess players there and never did we find a place to sit in the lobby which was full of children lounging in all of the seats. Very poorly managed!!

I was under the impression that I could get a microwave in our room, only to be told upon checking in and asking for one that they no longer allow them because of a fire hazard. I also had put in a request for a disabled room to be told they didn't have one with two beds anymore and was stuck taking a room on the 15th floor.

My stay was pleasant overall. However, I've stayed several times and I will add that there's always a security guard lurking around in the lobby. It's a bit of a nuisance for guests coming in and out.

I stayed here for 6 nights, the staff was very friendly. The AC unit in my room was extremely noisy. I enjoyed that there was a white noise machine in the room. The list of items available for you if you forgot them was extensive. I very much enjoyed that i was able to borrow a robe to use free of charge. The restaurant in the lobby had great food and amazing beers.

the layout is a bit confusing in terms of the convention. it's nice that our parking is free for the convetion. the parking deck is super confusing. but otherwise the decor and feel of the space is nice.

I've been going to the Hyatt Regency Morristown for the last 4 years for the fan convention they have hosted called DerpyCon. For a small hotel, it's very well kept even with 1000+ people wandering around in costumes. The hotel rooms cozy, the beds are completely comfortable, and the glass waterfall adds a nice touch. It's in a great area for a mini vacation and I would love to return at some point outside of the convention.

Excellant hotel. The staff is absolutely on point and has been a huge help to me as a guest and as a convention staff member. The bar inside is very easy to socialise and hang out with the people you are working with as well as people who are just staying at the convention. Easy access to parking garage right off of elevators and a set of stairs out the back of the hotel. I keep coming back every year for the convention and, by extension, the hotel. And they have never disappointed me in all the years I have come.
