Headquarters Plaza Hotel Review

After dinner in Morristown my date and I headed to the bar for a drink. They offer several craft beers on draft and a nice selection of drinks I was pleasantly surprised with the bar and would go back again.

The bed was the only thing that we liked after spending 8hrs. on the road. It was also hard to
locate.

Excellent hotel and staff, with movie theater and two very good restaurants on first floor.

This was overall a very solid experience. I was very pleased with everything and I am usually very hard to please.

Room was clean, had a full kitchen. Staff was pleasant and professional.

The Hyatt Regency at Morristown continuous to astound. I run professional events that take up the whole hotel, and they do amazing things every time.

I visited ming 2 in Hyatt. The food was awesome. Perfect indo Chinese food. The noodles were very nice. Spicy to the right level!! And the place looks awesome. Morristown downtown is so lively. Would visit here again soon

I attended an IT conference and the facilities were fine.

Lacks the features found in business class hotels. Room seemed like it was renovated within the last few years, but the job was shoddy. Paint sloppy, wallpaper already loose, stains in the bathtub, bathroom door needs paint, no working ventilation in the bathrooom. Room reeks of "air freshener" sprayed to cover I don't know what smell. Shower was closer to Motel 6 than Marriot Courtyard. Bad smell in elevator. No plugs available at bedside to charge devices. On the positive side, the staff were fine. I don't know if any hotels in this area do a better job, or if this is standard for an area famous for its "Forget you" attitude.

Families - do not pack your child(ren s) bathing suit because l, even though the direct hotel website advertises itself as kid friendly and indoor pool , children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the pool (!?!). Specifically the reason I chose this hotel. So rather, families - do not reserve in this hotel. Also, be aware that there is no free parking available. Parking is either valet or unmonitored parking garage. Each time you enter/exit, you must bring ticket to front desk, wait in line, and have each ticket validated. Valet is $23 and garage is $16.
$50 incidental fee is also charged, upfront. Rooms are not quiet. Headboards and chair are falling apart. We travel to this area regularly, and strongly recommend Hilton in Parsippany-free parking, awesome staff, select your own room online, no incidental charge, and kids can actually swim. Imagine that!

I come here for the drinks at the bar. Good atmosphere. Meet many new people.

The location was pretty good, and the hotel has a lot of room for holding events. The hotel wasn't as nice as it appeared. Many doors don't hang well. If you take longer than a few minutes in the shower, you're going to be standing in a couple inches of water because it doesn't drain fast enough. At night we were able to hear a fair amount of street noise.

Not the newest hotel, but staff is very friendly, location is great, rooms are large, and lobby is spacious.

The rooms are always clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are small & the furniture is getting tired. A bit overpriced for the accommodations but it's a convenient location. Hotel has a convention center, is in the middle of town, and there's lots of great restaurants. There is also a movie theater & parking garage in the same building as the hotel.

The parking here is good. I don't have a lot of other good things to say about the hotel. I feel like I kind of got ripped off at lunch with some sort of special that turned out to be pretty Dreadful. There's a beautiful indoor fountain but it just smells like chlorine in such an awful way.

Great place to spend a night. Clean rooms, updated bar. A little tricky finding the parking garage on the way out but still a 5 star stay

Pleasant hotel, a little oddly laid out, with decent but not impressive dinner restaurant. Good location near several good restaurants of varied cusine. Very pleasant staff. Clean rooms.

Beautiful. Clean rooms. Downtown, close to restaurants, shopping and a CVS.

I so thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night visit. They go above and beyond what's expected. They assisted me to the elevator with my belongings and was extremely helpful.

There"s so much to do here. You need not leave the hotel immediately. They offer room service until midnight. There is a bar stays open until 12 or 1.am. There's a gym and a pool. Too much to list. You will enjoy your stay such as I.

Beautiful hotel. This place is huge. The rooms are gorgeous and it has more amenities and other things then you can even imagine. It even has an AMC movie theater in the same building! Not to mention it's right in the center of everything, close to great bars and restaurants!!! The staff are all friendsly, outgoing, very helpful, kind, and all around great (and they do everything with a smile on their face). I don't normally write even has as much as this on most of my reviews, that's how you know this place is great

This is a nice place to go to if you need to be here. I didn't stay at the hotel, I was there for a convention, so I can't say anything about the actual hotel amenities or staff, but the hotel itself is nice. The hallways are big so even if it's crowded there's still room... Until you get deeper into the hotel. Then the hallways get really small and it's very maze-like, especially in the parking garage (which you do have to pay to use). If you're claustrophobic just be careful.

This is a nice hotel. It's very accommodating of convention guests. The rooms and facilities are clean and pleasant. Got a pizza at the bar that was not fully cooked. They fixed it after I let them know that there was a problem.
It's very conveniently located in the middle of Morristown. Not too far from train station.

As usual, the Hyatt Regency Morristown is an excellent event hotel, with good clean rooms and public spaces, and attentive and often invisible staff.

The hotel is ok but the process for food are INSANE. You wanna visit this place if you are really late into the night and just wanna sleep. It is a good hotel and the interior is also very beautiful and charming.

Stayed at the Hyatt Recency Morristown for a wedding. Hotel was nice and clean although we did not have hot water for showers in the morning.

Very nice hotel. I was surprised to find something so ritzy off the beaten path in such a realitivly small town. If I had anything negative to comment on at all it is that there could probably be a bit more signage to guide people around the complex. There is already a lot of signs and perhaps I was just being inept the day I visited but, I still found myself getting lost. Thankfully the staff was very helpful on leading me on the right track.

The location is wonderful, an easy walk to great restaurants and the town square. Room was clean and well appointed although the leather sitting chair was getting shabby. My only problem was the lack of a free electrical socket on either side of the bed for my cell phone and Kindle. Although there were sockets on both sides of the bed, they were both jammed full with cords to the lamps, clock radio etc so there was no room at all for me to plug in anything. I requested an expanded, they said they'd find something, but they evidently forgot about it. Fix that and they would get another star from me.

Reasonable price, room was clean and front desk was quick and friendly.

Dexcon is a gaming convention held at the Hyatt Regency Morristown each year on July. The staff are always accommodating and the facilities are lovely.

We were there for a vendor meet and greet. The rooms were well marked. The digitized screens with the names of the association's was a great help.

A little expensive but the rooms were very nice. Would have liked light block out curtains. The shades are not enough to allow me to sleep after the sun came up.

Had a nursing nclex review here. They were very good about keeping us hydrated and happy. Room was always clean and tidy. Quite happy with Hyatt.

It was an overall good stay. No problems, issues, etc.

This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are out of date and shabby. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food offerings at the bar were overpriced for the quality served.

Rooms are really nice and one thing I really like is that there is both a movie theater with first run movies and two excellent restaurants attached so you never have to leave the hotel complex. Only complaint is their pricing can go from sort of reasonable to egregious very quickly so book early.

Haven in your mouth!!! Chocolate mixed berries, hazelnut, and Adams Apple. So GOOD, a must!!!!

The room was large and comfortable, there are many places to get food in close walking distance, the service is fast and thorough. Wifi is a bit slow but at a convention that can't be helped. They've fixed the phone reception dead spot in the basement that used to be a problem. The pool is nice and there's a movie theatre attached to the hotel.

I stayed in Hyatt Morristown hotel for 2 nights in Sept. 2018 and noted (1) the hotel room's furnitures are old and chipped, (2) the bathroom is not installed with bath/shower grab bar to prevent slippery, (3) the hallway in the lower level where the entrance to parking is dirty (4) the overall quality of the hotel does not match with Hyatt's name.

While most of the hotel staff is awesone, it seems corperate seems less and less interested in caring for its customers.

My favorite hotel to stay in when on business in Morristown. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good quality room service and in-house restaurant options. (I particularly enjoy the wings and the Double Down Burger.) Since it is part of the Headquarters Plaza complex, there are good restaurant options nearby (especially Ming II) and a theater a short walk away. It s just down the block from the Morristown Green.
