One of the worst stays on a very important wedding...

One of the worst stays on a very important wedding weekend. Check in was confusing and took about an hour as we were placed in the wrong room then moved to a different room. The event coordinators were kind and very accommodating giving me their direct line in case anything happened and later when one of the bridesmaids garment bags was misplaced, they were no where to be found and both unreachable. Only one person manning the front desk when they had 4 other weddings staying at the Hyatt. I asked for the manager several times to which the front desk attendant said I m so sorry he s on the phone he ll be out shortly . 10 minutes later the manager appeared and told me he had watched the security footage of us entering and there was no garment bag that I must have left it somewhere else. I explained the situation with the room mix up and if I could just go into the room we were mistakenly placed in it was most likely in there. The manager was unprofessional and unaccommodating. Only after becoming extremely visibly emotional did another man offer assistance. I m not sure what department he worked in but he had a master key and he gave it to another gentleman, Constantine, and told him to stay with me until I found the bag which was indeed in the room we were mistakenly placed in first. Much thanks to those 2 gentlemen. Although it took over an hour to get anyone to actually help me. On top of this disaster, the event coordinators promised delivery of the grooms belongings from his suite into the bridal suite for the morning after the wedding. That was not done either. To add insult to injury, in the morning when I asked for a late check out, the front desk let me know that they were very full and he stuttered to tell me, I guess we could let you check out at 12pm for an extra... $25? Absolutely ridiculous. Overall experience I d say was unorganized, unprofessional and abhorrent. The convenience of being in the center of town is the only reason this hotel has any business.
