People who have given this property good reviews clearly don't get out much.
Bathroom: Tiny with no counter space at sink. Tub doesn't drain.
Main room: Worn and outdated; A/C unit was horribly loud.
Room service: $80 steak dinner (Outback quality at best) was delivered in take-out containers, and apparently I'm expected to cut a steak with plastic flatware.
Internet: Unusable. Download speed 0.33 Mbps. That was premium.
The only decent experience was the view. This property is as bad as it gets.

Nice hotel with clean, updated rooms. Central to many business and restaurants. Fitness center amenities provided by nearby gym - but it closes too early (8pm).
Friendly staff, lamp shade was destroyed in our room. Smelly bathroom without exhaust fan. Still slept great though! White noise machine in room was a bonus. No complimentary breakfast. GL BOL.
They stole my robe!!!!!!!..really bad bad service..creepy parking lot..the people working there do not know where to get food..just dont book it..stay clear
Basically just walked through the main lobby after parking the due jury duty. Looks like the same carpet that was there when I was last there over 6 years ago.
Attended a professional event. Service was excellent so was the food. Only thing I would improve was the room that the presentation was in was very cold and couldn't seem to be adjusted otherwise. Servers were absolutely fantastic.
Went for First Night Morris for a show. The staff of the hotel was professional and courteous as the directed and assisted the crowd. Excellent experience.
I have never stayed at the Hyatt Regency Morristown but go there frequently to ear at Mehendi and Ming - both amazing restaurants. Probably the best Indian and Indo-Chinese restaurants respectively in the area.
the reception of the hotel needs to be more courteous to the people. In general you should greet everyone who arrives and not just one who goes to reception. Reception needs better training.
I was with a group, but for some crazy reason the management wouldn't give the group rate for our room and we paid about $30 a night more. Sometimes I had to turn the water up to the max heat in the shower, but it was just warm, not hot. Tub floors seemed slippery. And the light fixtures by registration are bizarre and not at all impressive.
It's nice place to visit n it has everything it's one stop hotel u don't have go out of hotel if you don't need to.very place n the rooms ver nicely done. The staff is ver friendly
The room has been very nice, although small repairs need to be made (busted toilet paper roll holder, flickering light fixtures). The mattress is an innerspring one and could probably stand to be retired if my arthritic hips aren't lying about how we slept last night.
Planned a large dinner function at the Hyatt in Morristown with 300 guest. The staff was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Our even went off without a hitch.
Excellent location. Great hotel. Clean and staff is great. Only negative is the lack of fitness center and pool owned by the hotel. They are contracted with a health club but AMC theatres but staff there is rude and no 24 hour access
My last visit here was actually to the AMC movie theater located in the same building. This is my favorite theater to go to because of the comfortable reclining seats. I haven't stayed in this Hyatt since I live in the area, but I attended my husband's high school reunion here. The venue was nice and the food was decent so I didn't have any complaints. The staff have always been helpful as well.
Solid hotel with spacious rooms within walking distance to the Town Green and many other great locations in Morristown. The New Jersey inspired Taylor Ham Eggs Benedict was an excellent choice for breakfast alongside the fresh squeezed orange juice. Will definitely return to this location in the future!
Very solid spot in the heart of Morristown. Great front desk and bar, restaurant we did not try, but it looked just OK for breakfast. Rooms were clean, spacious, neat, well stocked and everything worked. prices were good, so value was top notch. Beds, linens were very comfortable and the bath was spacious. Just really nice!
Parking garage has no idea how to handle motorcycles. Gate sensors don't pick up bikes and some of the parking attendants aren't trained on what to do. One told me I wasn't allowed to park here.
Perfect location and amazing room, lobby and bar. It's walking distance to the Morristown Green, many restaurants and the NJ Path train. Staff was excellent. Room was superb. Lobby and lobby bar are very nice.
Worst wifi ever! Note that the lobby is always crowded with people on their laptops because it's totally unreliable in your room. I'm on the 4th floor with 2 of 5 bars. What do people on the 16th floor get?!? Downloads are horribly slow, and I certainly can't stream anything. It's 2015, for God's sake! Get it fixed!
Outdated hotel where you have to pay extra for breakfast and parking, parking is an issue if you are on a motorcycle, their equipment doesn't recognize a motorcycle, and not allowing you in/out that could be frustrating because you have to unsaddle and get to the main lobby and call for someone to assist you. Departure from their garage took like 20 min in the morning. Will avoid that one.
I stayed in this Hyatt in Morristown with my son. We enjoyed our stay very much, in the evening went to walk around Morristown. The next day went to the moovie theater at ground level and then went to Japanese restaurant "Nagano" next door. Everything was so easy and comfortable during our stay! I loved every single part of it! Check in was very easy, very fast, no line at all, the gentleman at the desk from Slovakia was very nice and pleasent. We had a room with two beds, the room was big and comfortable with refrigerator, a safe, a free bottle of water (for members) and extra blanket. I was staying in Marriot hotel in NY a week ago and to be in such big room felt like I am a king compared to the NY rooms I stayed in! Beds are very comfortable and the sheets felt smooth and really nice. We hope to stay here again! The only one thing I did not like was when we went to check out the pool in the evening but it was too late to swim so we felt the water to check its temperature. The water was so warm that we decided to go swimming next day. That next morning we come to the pool and cold water was pouring in to the pool! I was not able to enter to that cold water but my son was able to swim a little, but he said it was very cold too.
We had a very pleasant stay at this only hotel in downtown Morristown. The lobby has that fresh, clean scent and is clean, bright, and tastefully decorated. Same goes for the room, which had everything we needed - a really comfortable bed (hard to find in many hotels these days), a small fridge, and a safe. It also offered a nice view of the downtown area. Checking in and out were fast and hassle-free.
The hotel is so so.... Don't expect too much. Rooms always not as clean, towels are washed out... One time shower with barely warm water. Inconsistency, need some improvement.
I visited for New Jersey Veg Festhe on October 2nd and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was accommodating, friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel for any professional or social event.
The lobby had a great presentation. The room we're clean and refreshing. The amenities of the hotel from bar lounge to the fitness center we're fine. The vincinity around town was great, theater around and lots of restaurants for convenience. Indoor parking was plenty. Wait staff were great too. Great hotel.
Good place to get a quiet drink when you're not in the mood for a crowded bar. The music ruins the mood though.. wish it was uptempo piano music or something.
