Decent hotel in morristown downtown. The location is awesome. There are a couple odd foods restaurants at the mezzanine level of this hotel. There is also an AMC movie theater here. We did not start 6 at the hotel but have visited for conferences held here. We'r have also visited the restaurants and the movie theater. Thes is ample parking and the restaurant will validate hour parking ticket so that you are not charged.

Hotel needs a major upgrade. The rooms are trashed, dirty, broken fixtures, stains on furniture and carpets. The management company is obviously milking the property for all it's worth, without putting any investment into repair and upkeep.

If you're looking for all the usual amenities of a hotel, this place has all the basics covered. It's a little worn around the edges: my furniture veneer and wallpaper were a little warped in places, there was sun bleaching, and it seems like this hotel went under a renovation 5 years ago, but paid the lowest bidder. I mean, I'd stay here again, but for a Hyatt Regency (and I have been to many), I was a little surprised at the peeling detailing.

Staff is super friendly, though.

Parking garage needs signage to where the the hotel is: we got lost on P2 for half an hour trying to find the hotel elevators. We eventually got lost in the attached convention center but some convention staff helped us find the hotel entrance.

The lobby restrooms were not ADA compliant despite a recent renovation at the hotel. The meeting room we were in was decent. The hotel restaurant was overpriced for the quality of the food.

I have worked staff at a series of conventions here at the Hyatt for 5 years. The staff has been nothing but welcome and accommodating. They are amazing and this hotel feels like home when we are here.

Very disappointed with my room. One of the windows was broken, which allowed air/noise in from the outside. The TV cable reception came and went. Furniture and amenities very substandard. I had trouble believing this was in the Hyatt chain.

The parking is a bit weird, but the location is great. Near all of the nightlife in town, as well as food and other entertainment. The rooms are great, however security is very strict amd probably profiles (let others past but required my room key, room number and on one occasion ID

I stay at this Hyatt three times a year for a convention and every time the service is outstanding. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and kind, always going the extra mile. They also work really well the convention organizers, unlike some facilities that want money from conventions while being incredibly difficult to work with. I've never had a question the front desk staff couldn't solve quickly, efficiently and with great kindness. The breakfast buffer is fabulous, especially the made-to-order omelettes and waffles (though last time I was there the chef working that station seemed to be doing double duty in the kitchen so I felt sorry for him. Hopefully it was a one-time situation because people were out sick). Bruce and the rest of the wait staff in the restaurant are attentive and personable. Nancy the bartender always goes the extra mile.

My only quibble -- and it's a super tiny one -- is why are the mini fridges in the rooms set up so they open the opposite way from the cabinet containing them? That forces you to own the cabinet wider, which is awkward and could lead to accidentally waking up my roommate. That's a minuscule quibble, though.

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend the Hyatt Morristown.

I have been at the Hyatt for many events and it's always been a great experience. The food and service is top notch. Everyone has always been extremely nice and made an extra effort to talk to customers. Just today I was there for a business meeting, waiting in the lobby and they came over to ask if I wanted coffee or water. I wasn't even staying there. Parking is the worst thing there. They have a deck and valet of course but it's not convenient. All in all this place is great. I only gave 4 stars because I've never stayed in the rooms. Only attended events.

Was here for a business seminar and it was great. Parking was easy, I was greeted by friendly staff members, and the facility was clean an pleasant. I stayed overnight here about a year ago and it was great as well. I really like the fruit infused water they have out for guests as refreshment. Would definitely recommend to a friend for either an overnight stay or a social/professional event

Rooms are nice, very accommodating staff. Cleaning crew didn't do a great job restocking our room (didn't get replacement cups, didn't clean the sink, totally not a big deal) but that's a pretty minor quibble.

The Hyatt hotel was very clean and the rooms were very big and spacious. Wifi was moderate speed and was good enough to watch 30 minute videos at a timr without interrupting. Other than that, i didnt use any other functions such as the room service but I did enjoy the stay at the Hyatt!

Based on room rate I would rate 4.5, based on brand I would rate a 2. Blinds in room prevented me from sleeping past sunrise. (Very upsetting). Staff was friendly. I had to climb up on counter to raise the blinds. (I wanted to take a picture. One section could not raise. I was told I had a suite. It was one single room with a nice sitting area. Pictures taken early morning with blinds closed and only the bathroom light was on. Nice bathroom, good amenities.

Dirty room. Looks like it hasn't been vacuum in a week. Disgusting air vent. Full of dust. Had to ask the housekeeper for toilet paper & cup to brew coffee. Just gross. I wouldn't stay there unless you have to.

The building itself is slightly dated, rooms are nice and updated. Bed is comfy and air temperature stays where you put it. I wish they had blackout curtains as it gets a little bright in the morning and mini fridge could use an update but solid hotel.
