Everything went well and staff were very kind and professional. Only minor glitch was that surgery was scheduled for 8:45 and did not occur until shortly before noon. Neither myself or my driver waiting in the lobby were told it would be delayed, causing some concern.

Bayshore will ALWAYS be bayshore. They refused to give me even an aspirin to lower my HR and Ease my mind, since my cardiac enzymes were up. I had to leave against medical advise to go to CVS and BUY an aspirin, which ultimately SAVED my life!!! I hate this hospital. They lack compassion and take mental patients as a joke. I am so hurt that my own people(healthcare workers) refused to help. I am A NRCMA and currently working doing contact tracing for the state of Texas with Harris County Public Health. Please feel free to reach out to me for Patient satisfaction. I sure do hope to get a survey.

One of the worst, ghetto, most inconsiderate hospital ever. The nurse did not have good eye contacts at all. Rolled her eyes and attitude all the way. I was uncomfortable. After that when she switched my mother to another bed she just threw her like a dog. My mother is 59 and this nurse looked half my age. Her name is rachelle. Hopefully she gets reported because if she does this to my mom who knows how bad she treats her other patients. I would prefer another hospital other this crappy ghetto hospital. Nurses are rude like no other.

The staff were polite, very friendly and positive, but not very tending to patients at all and seemed very scattered an unorganized (which is expected at a hospital they do a lot for a lot of people at once, but this was to the point of questioning yourself should I trust they're results?) There was an older woman in the room next to me throwing up sounding like she chocked a few times, an had asked for help yelling down the hallway, noone showed up for about an hour, when the lady told her nurse she wanted to leave the nurse was very rude of how she said what she said. I had an ultrasound( internal and external) done due to lower abdomen pain and no period for 3 months (I was concerned something had ruptured) well, after I was done with the ultrasound the lady left me in the hallway while she did her paperwork as she said, it was a good 20mins even had people come out of the elevator comment that they really left you in the hallway? They were then going to do a pelvic exam, which was fine with me. They never did the pelvic exam which I would have rather had than the ct scan. I swear, I believe the techs did two ct scans on me as I have had them before and know the experience, but I was trusting in their care, by the end of it I felt so disoriented that I couldn't tell myself if I was okay or not. thank God it wasn't my head! Then when I was having a allergic reaction from the contrast i was told that they were going to give me something for it (benadryl) and it took an hour before I decided call to request it as the redness was spreading, bump on my back was getting much larger and I had started to feel worse especially in my chest, the nurse came in and told me she was on her lunch and that she had something else to do for another patient that comes before anything, before I could even tell her what was wrong, so I told her I was having an allergic reaction she said "oh, I'll go get someone to take care of that," and walked out didn't even ask me from what, I waited for the benadryl and left, I didn't want anyone from there touching me anymore, today (day after this experience) I feel worse than I had even went in there for. My whole body is weak, my bones keep popping, my insides feel as if they're twitching, everytime I cough I feel like something in my head pops, I generally feel much worse and now ill since, this experience I had here has made me never ever want another ct scan in my life unless it is life threatening and is absolutely necessary! The people who brought me in to the back were very professional and so did the doctor who took my blood. Other than those 3 people, the quality of care was scary and has me concerned for what my life is gonna turn to after this. I have never made a review before.

If I could give it 0 stars I would took my kids this morning as directed by their pediatrician since they been having fever wheezing ect after multiple visits to the dr he suggested the e.r and we didn't even make it to the back and were sent home because that's a matter to see their "pediatrician" ridiculous then we wonder why many kids die from the flu or related illnesses

I gave a three star review, although the nurses and doctors have been very helpful, this place needs more security!! Multiple times myself family and friends have encountered the same man harrasing us outside and a man approached me when I exited my vehicle which was parked by Bayside medical offices telling me why was I here and I better not come back that way again. Told security when I walked in and tried to hand him my ID while explaining about the men outside and he just passed me through with out a name tag. That's not safe either.

I was admitted to the hospital after experiencing a car accident and being in a delicate state. The staff was awesome in the way of helping me and making sure everything was done right away and correctly. The hospital often provides with community services that are essential for new time moms, speakers who give info regarding important health issues etc. Good hospital.

In my opinion, and seems like the opinions of many others who gave reviews, this place is very hit or miss. Some of the staff are nice and seem knowledgeable, but so many are rude, don't seem to want to be there, and don't seem to have very much experience. WHEN IT COMES TO MY HEALTH, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY A GAME WHERE I MIGHT GET A GOOD NURSE, I MIGHT GET A BAD NURSE.

My experience with this facility has always been negative, and I refuse to take my family there for care any more. I've heard nurses and other employees complain in front of me about being short staffed, overworked, and frustrated by lack of help from each other. And I could see the disorganization for myself.

Changing the hospital name doesn't change the people inside.

The most disorganized unsanitary mess I have ever seen in a hospital and I have been in way too many good ones the last few few years. I am a MRSA patient so everyone is supposed to wear gown and glove and face mask. Only a couple used gloved and face masks. the communication was terrible, the nurse came in and said you can go home, I asked her when she said anytime. So I I made arrangements for my ride to come and pick me up and as I was walking out the front door the head nurse said where are you going? The signed paper work was not complete and would not have been except for the head nurse catching it. I had a pace maker put in with basically no instructions except do not raise your left art arm above your shoulder.

Took my daughter in for a test. Registering went well! Walked across the hall to check-in and the woman at the desk wasn't pleasant at all! I figured she was having a bad morning or trying to get away since she was on her way out as we were walking in... so seemed as if we were holding her up. Went back to the exam room where clearly someone was in training but not sure no one advised me of anything. In health care you should always introduce yourself and even ask if its OK vs having the actual technician complete the exam. The person wasn't wearing a badge and was being directed by Zainab who was the technician. After the test we were walked over to the lab and everything went great there. She seemed as if she needed help but was handling the volume very pleasant. As we were leaving the same woman who checked us in was still rude, not friendly at all!! I asked for a work / school note and was advised the note is only given to the patient. Which I understand but, in this case my daughter is a minor and I was the one who consented to the treatment at registration. This makes no sense that a parent has to get the run around just to be given a simple note with their name on it to say I was there. I called numerous times to speak with a manager but was either left on hold, hung up on, transferred to voicemail which to me is horrible customer service. I'm assuming no one knows how to send an encrypted email since I was told sending a note via email would be a violation of HIPAA. I work in health care and I was going to look past the rudeness and the student in training until I got the run around from a simple note to give to my employer due to my late arrival to work this morning. Basically after all these years that I've been going to Bayshore now HCA this confirms I need to never return to this place again. UTMB is very professional from the physicians to the business office staff with great customer service! I will never return to this place again! Since I have to click a star to post the message I will... but this place doesn't deserve a start at all!

Went to labor and delivery unit to be observed for high blood pressure and monitoring my symptoms to see if I had preeclampsia. I had a wonderful experience with Nurse Carla . She was so sweet and very attentive to me when it came to me needing help or answering my questions . She kept in contact with Obygn doctor and kept the doctor updated on my status . She was very respectful towards me and my family . I actually nominated her for the daisy reward because she goes beyond to make sure her patients are well taken care of . I would also like to say thank you to the whole labor and delivery unit because they made my time there comfortable and I felt like I could relax like it was home . The rooms are beautiful , super clean they throw out trash every few hours and they even offer to give you extra blankets if you really need them . The food was really good , I m usually not a hospital food person but their food was better than others I have had in a long time . What I liked the most was feeling safe there, they give you a confidential code that you can give to family if they are visiting and they double check to make sure you want those people there . Nurses don t get the recognition like they should and theses nurses are amazing at HCA south East . When I was admitted last night I had a nurse that was working for almost 24hrs straight just due to the high volume of patients coming in and she was amazing . Always thank your nurses when you can because they really do go beyond to make sure you re taken care of ! I m looking forward to having my baby at HCA south East :) Again thank you nurse Carla I hope I get to have you as my nurse again when I come back

I had the gastric surgery last month and had a great experience. All the nurses were happy and cheerful and were always available. The director of the surgery, Linsay, helped me get through it and really made me feel like I was her only priority. She called me periodically to check in but not too much. The day of surgery she seemed more excited than I was, which helped with my anxiety disorder. I have already recommended this hospital to my sister and a couple friends for gastric surgery. Thanks for a great experience!

Great hospital and fast service!!! Everyone one is very kind. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the black lady at the check in desk. She is so rude. The last thing ppl need when they are going to visit a sick loved one is a rude lady like her! Instead of greeting you she just looks at you with a dumb face and expects you to know what to do or show to check in. This is definitely not the job for her !

My dad went to the emergency room of Bayshore Medical Center earlier this month and subsequently was admitted to the hospital for further treatment. Upon our arrival we promptly began receiving medical attention to diagnose his condition and make him as comfortable as possible. Throughout the process of the different tests they performed we were kept abreast of his condition as well as the results of the various tests in a very timely fashion. The complete ER staff was professional, compassionate, friendly and very attentive as they dealt with our issue.

As I said, he was later admitted to the hospital which turned into a stay of about 4 days. The staff on the fourth floor was wonderful throughout our stay. I can not say enough about the prompt and courteous service he received to meet his daily needs, which were considerable.

A great experience.

Horrible horrible horrible place!!!!!!!!!!! Two different floors and so far we have been here 6 days 5 nights .... the nurses are either under staffed or just don't want to work......when moved from one floor to another they don't give a call button it's left on a table way out of reach .... nothing to drink for hours and you can't get out of bed.... it's like as soon as we complain about something it gets worse. It's bad when the Dr don't even know that you were moved floors and then you tell him what we are going thru with the staff and he pushes the button and almost 20 minutes later no one answers it so he steps into the hall way and starts yelling.... I live 5 hours away and am scared to leave him alone at the hospital

My husband has been admitted twice to Bayshore and I must say that he has always received A+ service and treatment from the staff and physicians. We were told that they would treat us with excellent care and wouldn't have to worry about anything because he has good private insurance that would pay them good money :) I guess not being a medicaid patient helps.

My mother was admitted for a very low pulse. She was placed in a room and they performed an EKG, a CT scan, urine test. According to the nurse, her tests, all, came back normal. The unskilled doctor who came to see her the next morning, apparently had no idea of what has transpired nor what my mother still needed. He told my sister to have my mom get up and walk, since we were questioning why he wanted to put her on Physical Therapy. He stood like a big idiot and asked my sister to remove the vital signs cords she was connected to.... really. I have asked for someone to come check the vitals equipment, as it didn t work on the previous room she was in, and are not working in this room either. I have no idea what they are thinking, but with the exception of a couple of nurses, no one here seems to know what they are doing. I 1/2 hours later, no one has come to talk to me, regardless of multiple requests. Some of the reviews for this hospital who advise to not bring your loved ones to this place are 100 correct. The nurse, Hank, finally came, although he was not the assigned nurse and change out the cords to a mobile vitals machine. He actually seemed to know what he was doing.

Hospital staff was very rude and seemed impatient or understanding. Seem to interrupt when answering a question they asked. Closed the curtain in my daughters face while she was providing information on my behalf. Was Told they were going to give me something to help me relax during a procedure to replace a feeding tube but didnt and just ripped it out and shoved another one in with no pain med. or anything. Wasnt happy with my visit at all.
