The volunteers here were so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It is awesome to check in with Google but some human interaction and stories is priceless. They had great recommendations and current event knowledge locally.

Pam and Cathy were extremely helpful and professional! They were enthusiastic, wonderful ambassadors for the city of Monterrey. They helped us obtain a memorable place to stay....and referred us to an unforgettable activity - whale watching - we saw many sea lions and humpback whales feed for over an hour...it was surreal...Thank you Pam and Cathy!

Excellent service and very helpful if you'r new here.
They can set you up with a hotel room if you don't have a any booked.
They will provide you with some maps pamphlets and discounts on local attractions.
Just behind it is a very nice lake full of birds. A trail connects a boating dock and a playground.

The staff at the visitor's center were very friendly and helpful.They gave us recommendations on where to go, and where to camp. They were great. There's not much else there.

Very friendly and helpful and they did not harm me. Would visit again. They don't advertise it, but if you ask really nice they have free ice cream in back.

Friendly staff and gave directions along with recommendations of special sights & restaurants to see. Free maps of the area. I recommend stopping by here before venturing out on your own, the staff was very helpful.

Thanks to a very helpful gentleman, we got a great map and good directions around the area. Lovely view from this site too if you don't mind a few harmless homeless folks. Free clean restrooms too.

Awesome staff! Very knowledgeable on the area and attractions. The free postcards were very welcome and loved by all my friends/family who received them (had to complete survey about info centre to receive them).
Had a laugh about the 24min parking though! What a random length of time!!??

Very helpful and friendly staff with a broad knowledge of the Monterey area. Beautiful photos on the wall plenty of brochures and information about the area stop for visitors and newbies to the area.

Friendly welcoming knowledgeable staff. Plenty of help figuring out how to tour Monterey and Carmel. Good tips for scenic route and about free parking. 17 Mile drive tour is not to be missed. Also had much info about local lodging, though we did not need it this time. Small town, big service and welcome.

Friendly folks, good information, definitely a good place to stop when you're new to the area and want to explore what the Bay area has to offer.

As always, MCCVB delivers on their services to Monterey County's tourism industry. When visiting the Monterey Peninsula, expect knowledgeable and friendly people who can help with your meetings, and with your family vacation. Also, I highly recommend a day trip to Salinas to visit the downtown area and Steinbeck's family home and the Steinbeck Museum. A hidden gem!

The host was very cordial and friendly, Pam knows the area.

Very helpful people. Our plans needed to change due to Hwy 1 washout. We were guided to River Road wine country. It was a real treat and it was all due to the gentleman and the visitors center.

Excellent place for the family, just the hard part is finding parking.
