Harvey nichols fifth floor restaurant Review

Super welcoming staff and was given the best seats in the venue! - by the window, looking out on the terrace! We was served by various members of staff, who were all friendly, efficient and attentive. The waitress taking our orders asked if we had any allergies in which I mentioned my seafood allergy. My food was served by a more senior member of staff (I assume management) and I was told that my allergy was noted. My eggs benedict was made to perfection and one of the best I have ever tried! Poached eggs were nice and runny when I sliced into them, muffins were toasted nice and fluffy and the sauce was out of this world and left me wanting more! All in all, very happy with the service and food - will be coming back again!

I absolutely love the fish and chips here! Would definitely recommend it!

Don't bother going... had a very disappointing evening last night. Service was slow, had to wait 45 minutes for our starters which in fact arrived at the same time as our main courses, so clearly the starters had been sitting waiting for More

Host person was incredibly friendly, balcony is gorgeous and heated and decorated for the Glenfiddich sponsorship. A stunning coffee-and-cake break during your shopping, or a lovely meal if you have more time. Perfect!

One of my favourite department stores of the uk! Lots of choices and very helpful staff. However, the staff on the side of Iconic London did not offer to help at all, they definitely need some more training in areas such as customer service. But other then that, it s worth a visit :)

Chef should be embarrassed...I was just served egg noodles in mushroom/parsely sauce which was meant to be Linguine.......(!) Is the kitchen staff stupid or do they think customers are stupid and can t recognise difference between pasta and noodles?
Really really shame......

Anniversary drinks in the Fifth Floor bar still rates as my top drinking experience anywhere. The prices are as you'd expect in such a setting but the quality of the drinks make it the perfect treat. Exquisite offerings made with precision More

The vibe is actually quite relaxing when it s early in the morning. The menu is simple but well executed. My French toast was hot and crispy. Coffee was the only disappointment. Also a bit pricy, but it s Harvey nicks.

Only 2 men's toilet for the all store 5 th floor out of order and lg1 it's a joke

A fantastic venue, no expense speared and you can feel it. The mixologists here know how to blend a cocktail, they're Devine and mixed with a little theatre (which is the Harvey Nichols ways ) the food is delicious and the atmosphere is electric. Modern and chic with a hint of old world sophistication.
There is an extensive booze list here, champagne, wine, cocktails and spirits.

A great spot to sit in the sunshine with a cocktail. The staff are friendly and they have a good wine and cocktail list.

Had voucher from purchasing clothes so i went to spend it only to get weird look at from the staff. Not the most memorable

Good breakfast option when you stay around (my rating would be 3-4...).
Service was good around 9:00am and the food was tasty.
We had a sunny side up and a toast with poached egg and avocado.
Espresso and hot choclate was very good.

The food is definitely overpriced as the dishes are small, with high price and average taste. The extra service charge is too much for such slow service. To pay after eating, it took about 20 minutes from asking the bill to exit. I'm very disappointed as I had high expectations.

Personally if your in Knightsbridge doing a bit of shopping I d prefer to go to harrods for an expensive cocktail or snack! Be warned this area in London is extremely expensive! This bar isn t great either very boring an dated. They do have a Burger and lobster Restuarant now on this floor! Recommend !

While we were in London visiting friends, another couple invited us to go to Harvey Nichols for dinner. We were told that it was a favorite of the late Princess Diana.
The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of Harvey Nichols Department store. The atmosphere is "dress casual" with beautifully set tables, intimate lighting, and soft music in the background.
The staff were absolutely delightful. Nothing was ever a problem (for reasonable requests, of course).
The portions are perfectly sized and the food is beautifully presented on the plate. Everything arrived on time and at the proper temperature. The chefs create a marvelous variety of dishes that would please just about anyone.
Prices are a little steep, but after all, it's Knightsbridge where all of the best shopping and dining is found. Reservations are recommended and the dress is "dress-casual" as would be expected for an upscale restaurant.
When you visit London, you owe it to yourself to stroll through the Knightsbridge area and take in the shops, completing your day with a meal at Harvey Nichols.

We were invite there so I am not sure about the price. Food was really good and although I had an upset stomach, It set me fine. Of course I ask for a lighter fair than the rest of the table and they were very accommodating. Food of the other guests looked delicious and according to them also good. Decor is austere, modern and very refreshing. Service as good as they can be.

Lovely restaurant of course when you go to Harvey Nichols you need Harvey Nichols money! The crispy squid was beautiful im not really a seafood eater but the squid was scrumptious!

Free flowing prosecco afternoon tea. I've done a lot of these at numerous venues around London and I wouldn't rush back to do this one. The first waitress who sat us down pretty much forgot about us for over 20 minutes. The afternoon was only saved by the waiter who took over from her, who gave the level of service and attention I would have expected.

Very nice bar with very high prices to match. Good for a treat but couldn't afford it all the time. Very nice though and worth the effort to visit.

Gone down hill. Been here several times in the past few years, but today was pretty disappointing.
Nice quiet table in the corner, but maybe that s why we were forgotten about.
You forgot our starters, and main courses took over 40 minutes to arrive. Just too long guys without advance notice at time of ordering.
You then (with good intentions) pestered us relentlessly for the rest of the meal trying to make amends. Sorry but I do not want to be asked 5 times if everything is ok? ! And after ignoring us for 40 mins, then have my water glass refilled a hundred times, or be reminded 3 times that the tea and coffee would be complimentary at the end of the meal.
We just wanted to try to enjoy the meal without a constant reminder of your guilt.
The salmon was very nice.
The duck was not.
And I just wanted to leave.
You then added 12.5% service charge.
Badly executed all round.
Real shame. Just not worth it.

I went there for an afternoon tea with a friend and choose a small option with tea and three scones. The food was nice and the service good. Surprisingly wasn t expensive either. The top floor is splendid and there is quite a lot of space so didn t hear any of the conversations around :)! There is a terrasse as well which must be nice in summer. The bars looked great too, must try them next!

Lovely atmosphere, but be prepared to spend money like it's water.

Love it love it love it. The fift flour team is amazing, love their customer service, most of them are Italian. The food is amazing, the cocktail as well. There is a sushi bar for Asian cook lovers and the champagne bar in the corner, a little market with Italian special food and not only. Lobster bar and steak house if you love!

Fantastic lunch in the Seasons restaurant last weekend. The lamb carpaccio was absolutely amazing.

I went to have their afternoon tea set. It was ok, but for the price I'm sure I could get something better. I was really impressed with the layout of the restaurant and found it very comfy, although being near the door where people would constantly go in and out for a cigarette was kinda annoying, but was okay. The receptionist at the front of the desk was very welcoming and were it not for her and most of the other staff. I was however extremely disappointed with our server. On asking what would be on the tea menu, who look showed the expression of surprise at me having to ask and just blurted out "its got cakes, and sandwiches and stuff". On asking about the types of tea they had, she literally rolled her eyes as if to say "are you seriously asking me this question?". Maybe I, as the customer shouldn't have asked and just taken everything she gave me. The rest of the tea just felt really crappy afterwards and my partner and I decided to have minimal contact with the server, she was clearly in a bad mood, especially after seeing that another couple behind us was complaining about to her about coffee that she had served them.

But again, she must have been in a bad mood, and unfortunately it overflowed onto the service she provided to others. I found the rest of the staff really pleasing to talk to. Although I'm pretty sure my partner and I won't be returning any time soon.

Burger and Lobster was good.. service was good. Wished we had a better seat but it was a good night nonetheless

Very beautiful and cozy bar. Really friendly staff. I ve been surprised that it s really cheap bar as well. I look forward for summer, they have really nice selection of cocktails with amazing decoration.

Contemporary design and food. We tried the autumn tasting menu and were simply amazed by the complex palette offered in each dish... Beautiful quality, a lot of creativity. The sommeliers also are hors pair, each wine was simply spot on, out of the way, surprising. Sincerely? They have two rosettes at the moment and deserve more...

Western pizzas, pasta and sandwich on one side. Rotate Japanese sushi on the other side. Also afternoon tea. Expensive but casual dinner only.

Enjoyable lunch on the outdoor terrace in Harvey Nichols Fifth floor cafe. Great to be outdoors when the sun is shining and a break from shopping in Knightsbridge.

Good classic food with variety of healthy choices. We went for Beef carpaccio with truffle dressing & Parmesan; a very delicious fresh Burrata, with grilled peach, radicchio and a honey dressing and a special of the day a crab and watermelon salad. Fro mains we had the Superfood salad and a Teriyaki-marinated spring chicken - enough to keep us full for the next part of our shopping!

Went for drinks. Fine. Good value champers. Attentive staff. Very busy. Busier than shop - surprised! Spend an hour here relaxing after shopping in a bar that Harrods cant offer.

Thank you Harvey Nichols for always feeding us delicious, consistent and great quality food at the Fifth Floor in Knightsbridge! And for making The Club Sandwich your classic! We have been visiting for years and my husband's order hasn't changed.. (and I agree with him!).. The bread is fresh, flavoured with rosemary, with layers of salad and chicken with mustard.. Hey what more, its #halal! It may be the contender for one of the best Club Sandwiches in town..

If she is making them they will be great, If you choose one she has devised there is only one place to go for Xmas drinks this year.

The experience is exactly as you'd expect from a high end department store cafe. Their outdoor space is great and private with limited views. The food and drink options are good, but you come here for the upscale experience and the Harvey Nichols brand. Shopping in the store and looking for an easy, fun glass of champaign? Look no further than the 5th floor.

Beautifully stocked bar. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely outdoor seating too. Would deffo come back.

Visited with friends for lunch and had the delicious pine nut and creamy mushroom pasta Service was prompt. Wait staff were courteous and friendly.

Pretty good spot for a tasty lunch and vino - wine selection is pretty good by the glass or bottle and if you can there are a few tables out on the roof areas - sunny day choice

Recommended for light and relaxed if you in the area - weekdays best bet as weekends can be very busy

A truly wonderful hidden gem. I have walked past this building for years and have never been inside. The cafe is lovely. Beautifully decorated with the nicest waiters I have ever been served by. The staff are so friendly and accommodating to my vegan needs. This beautiful spread (see picture) was a delightful find!

Scones with caramel sauce. The scone were large and generously sized. Served hot and smelt incredible. The cutlery was sturdy and the table spacing wide which helped as I was visiting a friend with her toddler in a pray. It was no issues playing with a baby at the table whilst dining. The staff were accommodating and the people in the cafe didn t mind young kids either- which is worth knowing when you need to keep feeding babies so frequently.
Good big lifts with disabled access.
I would recommend this place more than places like Harrods. The food court is amazing
