Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company Review

Would of given this a 5 star review if not for the managers attitude from the moment we arrived and the Inkbot app they use. The tatto artist Steph was amazing, very pleased with the result and she was very friendly and chatty. This however, was overshadowed a little by my experience prior to seeing Steph. I arrived and enquires to the manager what the availability of appointments was and was told this is the busiest tatto place in the world, we re booked up for three months ! I was then able to book for 5 days later at an appointment of my choosing?? Upon receiving the Inkbot invite to update the tattooist with my ideas and alterations I took the chance. I also put a budget on there which I forgot to do on the initial booking. No response was received at all. I arrived for my appointment and it was clear none of the information had been passed on until that morning from the updates I provided causing me a little embarrassment. Again, Steph was great at altering things. I was there for approximately 3hrs seeing the manager a few times but not once did he say hi or acknowledge I had chosen to have a tatto in his studio. To summarise:- tattooist and front of house amazing!! Manager, could try harder at customer services!

I'm a returning customer to Russel. There was a misunderstanding with my appt day, but he went out of his way to make it right. He stayed late passed his normal schedule to make sure I got the tattoo that I wanted. I told him my ideas, and he gave me suggestions that he thought would look better. I put my trust in him and love the results. I have referred 4 other people to H&H and all of them couldn't be happier with their tattoos. I will be going back for my next one soon. Thanks Russel again for everything you did for me, and for my awesome jellyfish.

Got an amazing piece of art on my arm by Ryan Eternal (Martin). I've gotten a fair amount of ink in my life from many different artists, and Ryan was extremely professional, very personable, blew my expectations out of the water, and had a very "soft" flow! One of the least painful artists I've ever been to! He also worked very fast! I would recommend H&H orlando and Ryan Eternal to anyone looking to get some ink done! You won't be disappointed! He truly is an InkMaster!

Awful customer service. I walked in with the hopes of getting a tattoo. I was hoping to get someone to speak with and let me know what was the process since all they have is a table with tablets that dont really explain much either. While looking for help i was rudely asked if i needed any help by someone who didnt even look like they worked there and who heard me asking around for assistance. Long story short : If your expecting any kind of guidance to getting a tattoo or even their pricing , just know your going in lone wolf.

Ryan Eternal did a great job on my tattoo on Monday 2/27/2017. This was my second time coming to him at H&H. He is simply the best, will be back in a few months! Thank You Again and & Great Shop!

These guys were a blast to be around. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to get tattooed at Hart & Huntington Tattoo. Mark Richards designed and tattooed the first one I got on Thursday the 18th and I couldn't be happier with the results. Still feeling that tattoo itch, I went back the next day to get the knuckles on both my hands tattooed. Ryan Eternal was down for the project and just like the previous day, I walked away feeling elated that I was able to get not one, but two tattoos from two very talented artists. Russell has an amazing talent and eye for design! I could not be more impressed with his work. If you are thinking about booking, you should. He was friendly and willing to put in the work to create something special. I asked for a ton of color and that is what I got! Just beaming! The shop has a friendly staff and it's very clean so I couldn't ask for more.

I had an amazing experience here. I came in with a couple images, told my story, and Ryan drew up a piece that truly exceeded all expectations. It was incredible watching Ryan's creative juices flow. Not only did this piece come out so clean and precise, the staff were very professional and provided good intellectual company. Though it was pricey, I have comfort in knowing I have an original, custom piece of art that I am proud to show off on a daily basis.

Went here for a quote on a Harry Potter quote tattoo, even brought an exact picture of how I wanted it. They wanted like $300 for it which was absurd, but looking back I m damn glad they wanted to up the charge. Girl who drew up the design spelled solemnly wrong, almost got that tattooed on my body forever. I would not trust this place. Especially with words.

I am not sure I have enough words allowed per review guidelines to say all the positive things I want to say about H&H Orlando and Cortni West!

So the ENTIRE process is seamless and the staff is top-tier! From the initial email exchanges with Victoria when setting up the appointment, to the awesome and friendly staff greeting and chatting with you in the shop (Todd-shop manager, Kayla, as well as other artists), H&H Orlando is above and beyond all other tattoo shops and experiences that I have visited.

So now to my actual artist and #inkmate for life, Cortni West, aka @misswildwest on IG. Cortni is not only the most humble, kind, and sweet human you will ever meet, but she is one of the most insanely-talented artists I have ever seen! I searched IG and other sources for YEARS before deciding on who to choose to complete my cover ups (we've all made bad tattoo decisions in the past, right?). I'm not sure how exactly I stumbled upon Cortni, but I have been to her 4 times in the last 2 years and will be regularly scheduled with her for the unforeseeable future. I will never trust my my canvas to anyone but her. Each time I come up with a concept, she blows away all of my expectations. I promise you, you will fall in love with both her art and her personality...she is the BEST! My wife will likely never get a tattoo, but she loves the experience of going with me to H&H Orlando to visit Cortni and if she ever DID get one, I guarantee I know where she would go and who she would get it from!

I know this is long, but everyone in this post deserves it! I have visited dozens of shops over the past 5-10 years, but never felt the experience and professionalism like I did at H&H Orlando. Thank you ALL for being awesome and Cortni, you da BEST!!

Read about H&H on the Web whilst looking for tattoo studios in orlando as we were holidaying there, looked at a few but waited till we went to universal and found the studio while wandering around the city walk, went in as a walk in, saw Adam told him what I was looking for he found the picture, took 4-5 hours a bit expensive but he took his time and it came out awesome, not totally healed as it was only 2 weeks ago. Would recommend Adam highly.

I had my tattoo done here in honor of my great grandfather and had such a great experience from all of the staff and the artist!

Russell is AMAZING! He has done three tattoos for me, and a sleeve for my husband. I don't like needles, so he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Our tattoos are gorgeous!!! I wouldn't go to anyone nor anywhere else.

100/10 Came in as a walk in wanting a tattoo everyone and I mean everyone so helpful so nice so awesome! Not only did they make sure I got my tattoo in they charged my phone which was dead and also got me an uber since i missed my bus to make sure I got home! Best experience of my life and will never forget it! Not to mention the tattoo Ryan did for me is perfect and went by so quickly! If you do anything while down here this is it!

I've gotten incredible work previously by Ryan Martin but my last visit, was best by far. I got a black/grey photo realism of Jay z Boy Adams RIP and the work he did is phenomenal from the shading and contouring of shadows of the expression on his face, down to the varying shadows of his jeans. Thank you Ryan you already know I'm coming back... Hart and Huntington has yet to let me down yet.

Great experience at H&H! My artist was JC, a very professional, patient and respectful guy. The final result was even better than I was expecting before get to the shop! Also everyone there's very friendly. Highly recommendeded !!!

Just had another tattoo done by Ryan Eternal. This was my third visit to him and everytime I come in with a scattered idea and he draws up exactly what I am looking for. Great artist, great tattoos and a fun clean atmosphere. I live in Pennsylvania and come down at least once a year specifically to get tattooed by Ryan. Can't say enough positive things about my experience here.

This place is super chill! Everyone there was helpful and my artist JC did an amazing job on the tattoo I got on my forearm. There was no major pressure or anything, they just listened to what I wanted to get and JC asked questions about what I wanted it to look like.
I'm definitely going back to get another tattoo when I'm in town again!

You do indeed get what you pay for. Not cheap, but my experience with Isaac was worth every penny. Professional set up and an amazing artist. My tattoo came out even better than I thought it could look and I couldn't be happier.

Awesome atmosphere with personable and talented artists. I'm very satisfied with my experience here and my tattoo from Brandon Hutchinson. Just be prepared to spend a lot; they're expensive but you're paying for quality at this shop.

Had a great experience here. Even though I got a small tattoo, Darren treated it with the same professionalism as he would a big piece. Darren was really easy to work with and willing to make any changes to the initial drawing I wanted. He tattooed in good time and even gave me a napkin when I cried because the ribs do hurt!

The last 7 months I have been working on my first tattoo which is a whole arm sleeve . Courtni west is my artist and she is amazing ! Wonderful person and very patient and talented I ll never go to anyone else ! The shop it s self is clean and a very positive atmosphere. Everyone is nice and respectful. Yes it s a little pricey but for me it s worth it . Your paying for beautiful artwork on your body forever! I would recommend this tattoo shop to anyone ! My husband and I have been there several times....been tattooed by Daaron and Ryan Eternal. Everyone is fantastic there!!! We got tattooed today by Ryan and he is FANTASTIC!!! He has an amazing personality and makes it fun!!!!

I just got an add on piece from Pierre and he was super awesome! quickly knew exactly how to map out what i wanted, and really took the piece into his own hands to take it into a whole new direction. i already loved the tattoo and i was worried someone else may ruin it but he elevated it and for that, i appreciate it. He s an amazing artist, and works great with colors. Also I really appreciate Todd, the store manager, he always puts guests at ease and will sit and talk with you while you get work done, super great guy. I also really appreciate Victoria, a sweet girl who works up front and helps guests through emails, she seems to really keep the shop clean and orderly and make sure everything goes as planned. I look forward to getting more work done here by more artists!

My mom and I were on vacation in Orlando for Harry Potter! I wanted to make it more magical for her and booked to get a tattoo at H&H. Adam did our tattoo and he was so pleasant the whole time. He was so nice and made jokes. His artwork is amazing. He also kept asking if I was okay when I was getting mine(my mom did not want to watch because it grossed her out so I was alone). I would recommend if you re going to go there to definitely ask for Adam to do it! Also they give you your own products to take care of your tattoo after you get it and this is my fourth tattoo and it has never healed this fast(also my biggest one).

Stephanie was a phenomenal artist to work with. She played a big role in giving me the best birthday weekend ever. My mom and I now have the best mother daughter tattoos ever. I got a tattoo done by Adam just yesterday. The design he came up with was exactly what I wanted and more and I absolutely love the way it looks. This is only my second tattoo and Adam was really understanding about when I needed to take breaks. We just talked about whatever during the tattoo and the conversation was nice and really put me at ease. Overall, Adam made the process stress-free and really enjoyable and I would absolutely recommend that people go see him. The other staff were also super friendly and kind to me.

Pierre did an incredible job designing my original tattoo and was very patient with this first timer. Expensive but worth the care and quality.

My experience here was awesome Ike was very professional and fun guy to do work with. After tattoo was finished people all over city walk and universal studios asked me about the tattoo and I told them the artist and showed where I got it.

We would give Pierre 10 ********** if we could.
He really earned it. We flew all the way from Indianapolis to go see Pierre 2 weeks ago. He was such an amazing talented artist and very sweet. He was so kind and gave us his very last cigarette. After 5 hours long he patiently gave our son a 3D king crown. It looks phenomenal. It worth every pennies. Thank u Pierre for all your hard work. I never seen anything looks lively like that before. We definitely come back to see him for our future arts and highly recommend Pierre to anyone anyday in a heart beat.. the staff were also friendly. Great atmosphere and very safe.

Unbelievably professional, awesome experience. I walked in without realizing that THIS was the shop from Inked. We were not previous fans of the show and we haven't had cable for a while, so I felt a little embarrassed that I didn't know the names. However, one look at Ryan Eternal's portfolio and I was hooked.

I let him know that I liked his work and I was there for THAT, not for an exact interpretation of my vision. All I gave him was that I wanted the Rochester, NY flower city logo, and if he could work with that in some way in his own style, I'd be grateful. He came up with an amazing design, and really took his time crafting it into something that I was so excited and proud to have him put on my body. Word to the wise... that is exactly how you will have the best results at a custom shop like this...trust your artist! They are masters of their craft.

Checkout was easy, smooth, and the pricing was very fair for the quality of the work, the speed with which it was performed, and the cleanliness and neatness of the facility. Loved the whole experience, love my tattoo, love Ryan.

I've had tattoo work done all over the country. No one gives you a better tattoo experience than H&H. The personalities in the shop are friendly and fun and the work that is turned out there is top quality. I get compliments on the work that Cortni has done on a regular basis. She has exceeded my expectations at every appointment.

The manager is rude and conceited. The artist I got I had to fight with the entire time to get what I wanted. I told the artist several, SEVERAL times I wanted a REALISTIC flower and when she revealed my finished tattoo is was a cartoon flower and not even the color I wanted. All of this not to mention they are way over priced. Another thing is when I used their after care products they are SCENTED which every tattoo artist I know is against. Horrible shop don t waste your money.

Adam hooked me up with an awesome tattoo, extremely professional and the quality is by far top notch, everyone was very friendly and made for a pleasant experience, it was late but they treated everyone like it was their first customer of the day.

Had a tattoo done here by Russell in 2014. He did a great job, of course, and did it as quickly and as painlessly as possible. I was surprised the tattoo didn't take longer than it did and it looks amazing. I even got to watch The Dark Knight Rises while it was happening and everyone there was super professional and hilarious. Love the open atmosphere of it being at City Walk too as it keeps you busy people watching rather than focusing on the whole needle-y aspect of the experience. A+ experience would recommend. I get nothing but compliments on my tattoo all the time and I need to stop by soon for another!

I wanted an enhancement of my tattoo and JC nailed it and did a perfect job of satisfying my image of the tattoo.

I just got my first tattoo there and I was nervous but they were so friendly and welcoming that they calmed my nerves almost immediately. I got my tattoo from Cortni West and it is phenomenal, I couldn't be happier with it and I'm going to love looking at it for the rest of my life.

Ryan Eternal has just basically transformed my weathered dragon on my leg to an absolutely stunning traditional Japanese koi. Honestly, some of the best work and artistry that I've seen on the east coast. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a cover-up or a new piece. Visit the shop for a consult and remember that great work is worth the price!

I went in to receive quote that I had designed several years ago. The guy at the front desk smirked when he saw the design and said that the words that I wanted with the design have become super popular in recent months and that I should choose something else. I said that the design was to honor my deceased mother, that I had been holding on to the design for several years, and I didn't care because it wasn't for anyone else, it was for me.
As I continued to ask legitimate questions, he would only provide me with short, unhelpful answers. He treated me like I was an airhead tourist that had drunkenly decided to make a poor decision (which I am NOT). When I asked again for a quote, he said that it would be at least $200 but probably more and wouldn't give me a more definitive answer (I'm willing to pay for quality, but I at least want to know what I'm paying before committing to anything). I have seldom felt as unwanted and judged in an establishment that depends on its customers to survive. However, if my experience is anything to go by, their clientele mainly DOES consist of drunken tourists that wouldn t know they were being treated like crap if you tattooed it on their foreheads.

Russell Van Schaick fell onto my radar by chance and after a few months of following his creations I had the opportunity to book an appointment with him. His work is amazing. Russell put a lot of heart into my piece and his detailing is fantastic. He made me feel comfortable and checked up on me to make sure I was doing well while getting tattooed. I love my tattoo and I can never say how much I appreciate Russell for creating it.

Mark Richards tattooed my husband and it is so freaking epic. The time and effort he put in to my husbands ink in such a short amount of time was tremendous. Long live the Zombie Link toe.

The rest of the staff at Hart and Huntington is amazing and they do a stellar job of making all clients and others that come into the shop feel welcome. It is unfortunate that Orlando is so far from South Texas because we already have more ideas. Someday!

I have gotten a couple tattoos from Hart & Huntington. Always friendly staff, professional yet fun. The store is insanely clean and sterile. I highly recommend this shop for any tattoo. It's worth it! They even fixed a bad tattoo I got downtown. I'll never step foot in another tattoo shop as long as I live.

My husband and I recently traveled to Orlando to celebrate our anniversary at Universal Studios. We researched the Hart & Huntington and decided I would get a Harry Potter tattoo to commemorate my obsession! We sent in our design and they promptly got back to us regarding price and available dates. We went into the shop our first night there to schedule a time and put a deposit down. I was really unhappy with the first interaction I had, the girl at the front desk was kinda rude and I was put off by her attitude. She said the tattoo was so easy that anyone could do it. So, we decided to wait on putting a deposit and scheduling a time. We talked it over for a couple days and looked online at the profiles of the available artists. A couple nights later we went back to the shop, I decided to get the tattoo done by Ryan Eternal. We had watched him on Ink Master and knew he did quality work. The interaction that night was completely different. I was so excited to get my tattoo done there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The last night of our trip we went in to get my tattoo. I was so excited to not only meet Ryan but get a tattoo by him too. He was the coolest guy! We sat down and he got to work. We just talked the whole time he did it. I barely realized I was getting a tattoo! He did such an amazing job and we had such a wonderful experience with him and the rest of the staff there. Plus my tattoo is gorgeous!! We can't wait to go back, my husband wants a piece done by Ryan!

Show up after nothing was explained as the process of being a walk in wanted a butterfly. The one girl said yea we can do it. We talk to guy about. And then no they can t bdo cause the one girl doesn t do color. Tried to convince us to do a black and gray butterfly.... no. Waste of an hour drive and the two people at the front don t know how to work the appointments. Doesn t waste people s times we would have gladly booked an appointment for the 175$ you charge of it meant not wasting the drive and hassle.

Enjoyed the hell out of getting my tattoo here. Amazing atmosphere and good music. Jeremie did an unbelievable job on my calf piece (for those Kingdom Hearts fans it's Riku's keyblade crossed with Sora's oblivion keyblade). I just laid there singing oldies but goodies and laughing with everyone. Definitely need to go back for my next piece.

Shop's atmosphere is intimidating and very uncomfortable. Staff is kind but stand off-ish. They portray an attitude of being better than everyone else. Quoted me a small wrist tattoo to cost 400-700 dollars just for line work. I went to InkSpot tattoo in Old Town Kissimmee and they are WAY nicer and charged me the regular normal price of 84 dollars and did a flawless job. I will NEVER set foot in Hart and Huntington again.

This was by far my best tattoo experience to date. My artist was Ryan Martin from the tv show Ink Masters and he was seriously amazing. Everyone was nice and helpful, the shop was very clean. I absolutely love this place and they have gained a loyal customer. I can't thank you enough. If you are looking for a place to get some ink done, this is definitely your first and last stop. Ryan is so talented and he does beautiful traditional pieces. Thank you guys for everything, I highly highly recommend you.

The only tattoo shop I trust. Between the solid work of Russell and Ryan and the curtious service of everyone involved, I would never dream of settling for anything less than perfect when it comes to wearing permanent art and neither would they.

She was such a pleasure from consult to appointment with her enthusiasm and kindness. She s patient, clearly passionate about what she does, and an amazing artist. Everyone at the shop is welcoming (Zachary was working the front when I went). I love my new piece and I ll definitely be back!!

DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give negative stars this place would get -10. Upon calling I spoke to an incredibly rude employee who hung up on me mid sentence right after she gave me attitude. The prices are totally unreasonable. $175 shop min. Honestly after being treated So poorly from that employee I will Never come here again and I will be reaching out to everyone I know to Avoid this place like the plague.

The staff here are all extremely friendly and professional.
