The dealership is clean and nice looking. The service is terrible. I can never get anyone to answer the phone to make an appointment for a simple oil change. The one time I was actually able to make an appointment for an oil change and take my car in they took an insanely long time to complete the work. I always feel like they could care less if customers come there or not.
No body else could help me out all over Sacramento. These guys bent over backwards to fit my budget and get me in a car I love. Never felt pressured and always was top priority. Thank you travis for getting me in my new car! I recommend this dealership to anyone

The services for taking care of vehicles are very slow n they keep your car overnight n tell you that the mechanics can't find the problem when in all honesty they did not even touched it at all. I will never take my car there again.

I was very happy with the salesman John Walker. He was not pushy and took his time to explain all the buttons and make sure they where all working given that it was a used truck. He eased my mind that the truck came with a 3 month warranty incase of any problems.
When I did have an issue I was put in direct contact with Mike, the servicing manager who really went above and beyond making sure I was taken care off. Harold Ford stood by their warranty and I was very happy with my experience buying a used truck. I would definitely go back to Harrold Ford.
Although, I wish I had not purchased a Ford, the service dept has been helpful. My best advice to anyone looking to buy a car is to go with a foreign car like Hyundai, Nissan Or Toyota...

Fleet sales department was a very professional and knowledgeable department to work with. We worked with them over the course of a few weeks to procure a F250 for our construction company. They were very honest and worked with us along the way to help us get what we wanted in our F250.

I purchased my vehicle here but I wished I would've went elsewhere to get it. I had mine built from factory with my select accessories. I didn't realize it until I took it off the lot that they left off one item. They wouldn't take it back and we went back and forth like hell to try and get it. They ended up giving me accessories that amounted to that one item they left off for a "good review." I don't come here for any services unless it's dealing with my extended warranty. If you come here to purchase a vehicle, make sure everything is written in stone what you want.
This is my 7th vehicle from Harrold Ford, each visit makes me more satisfied than before. The team is great, My salesman, Charles "Gumby" Tanner typical Marine,took point and secured the deal for the exact car I wanted. I went to get a written estimate for a broken mirror. The woman that greeted me stated that I needed to check with the parts department or she could call me next week. I repeated that I needed a written estimate and was this a business that wrote repair estimates. She told me it would take a long time if I wanted to wait. She repeated that she needs to check with the parts department for the cost. I asked if the parts department was open she said, yes. She asked me again if I was sure I wanted to wait because it would be a long wait, I replied yes. Eventually a male staff member appeared providing me with a sheet with the costs of parts and he hand wrote the labor costs in pen. The insurance company will not take it. I think the staff needs retaining on customer service interaction so they can continue to have repeat customers. The repeat customers keep the money flowing, thus they have jobs.
I work several blocks from there. Every time I call to order parts, they answer but the call always cuts off. I ask if they can fax a picture of the part and they never due even though they ask for the fax number. So I decided to call and order from Future Ford on Madison avenue, even though it is much farther. Much friendlier staff and very good customer service
You will be surprised at what they can do. They talk the talk & walk the walk. I would highly recommend them for years to come. The staff is the best you can come by.

Called this company to make sure they had the gas cap that fits my car. They said we sure do come on in. Went all the way there just so they can give me the wrong gas cap for my car. Called them to let them know what happened and i was transferred to the parts department. It rang and rang so i thought maybe they sent me to the wrong extention so i called back and asked for the parts department again and it rang and rang so i call back and said no one in the parts department is answering the phone but all i really need to know is how late the parts department is open 'til "sorry ma'am they closed at 5:00 and won't be open until Monday". What a waste of time

This guy is terrible- unreliable, inconsiderate and very unprofessional. Made an appointment with him last night, when I showed up he told me that the car is sold. Would it be too much to ask to call me and let me know, before I drove all the way to Sac??!? Apparently so... Will never deal with this dealership again and suggest the same to others.
I'm extremely disappointed in this dealerships internet department and sales management.
I have sent in 2 internet leads with no response, I even called the dealership and spoke to a lady that said she would have the sales managers contact me directly to give me lease numbers. I have gotten one generic email late yesterday (3 days after I emailed, and 1 day after I called).
I am trying to get a car by Wednesday or Thursday and it does not appear it will be through this dealership. Looks like I'll be going to Future Ford Sacramento as they have the decency to respond to customers requests.
Very friendly staff. I called about taking care of a safety recall on my vehicle and they were very helpful in telling me what need to be done to take care of the issue. I called three other local Ford dealerships before this one and all the other service departments were rude and dismissive. We had a flat tire on highway 50 and got towed to the nearest Ford dealership which happened to be Harold Ford. At the time of arrival they were already closed but we met an angel in human form who s a staff there named Lei. She offered my wife and I a comfortable place to sit and got us some sodas and cookies while we waited for our ride.
She was also very encouraging and helpful and said she ll make sure our car is fixed.
We re so grateful to her.

I've finally decided to buy a truck and have been doing some research online about the different ones. My first visit is to Harrold Ford to test drive one of the higher end F150's. After the test drive I'm asking the guy for his best walk out price. He seemed new to the business so he gets his manager who comes out and asks if I plan on buying today. I said no, but I'd like to have a price so I can finish my comparisons. He tells me if I'm not buying today he can't give me a price!! Talk about a terrible sales job!! Make me want to buy it today!!!! After wasting my time I just got up and left!! Worst sales experience ever. I don't even work in sales and I could do a better job than that!! He told me that the reason was because next week the deal might be better. Well at least give me your best shot today and then if I still didn't buy it, call me next week if the deal gets better!!!! Moron! Don't waste your time with them. I had heard bad things before and now have my own story. Truth is, I'm going to buy that truck, just not from them!!

Gabby is a top notch, no pressure sales professional. He listens to what you want and took the time to let us test drive several Ford Fusions. His follow up is professional too. I am more interested in the Chevy Impala LTZ, although the Fusion SE is very impressive. He is actively searching for the Pre-owned Impala I desire.
Got to really check out a car before you buy it!! I want to say I had a great exoerience buying a car at Harrold Ford, but so far I can not. I saw the car I wanted on line, I phoned Harrold Ford to make sure it was still available, I was assured it was available, and would be ready for me to pick up the next day. I took an Uber, and a ride half way since I live in San Jose .... when I got there they told me the car was being looked over because the engine light was on, what!? I was expecting to drive home in my new car. Well after waiting for some time I was told they needed a part and it would take an hour, so I waited (didnt have a whole lot of options) got the car to drive home, brakes were squeaking real bad! And something smelled like it was burning ... I figured whatever they fixed was drying or something. About 6 weeks later the smell is getting worse, and the oil light is going on, I take it in for an oil change, the guy tells me I have an oil leak. I drive it back to Harrold Ford since its under the 90 day, or 3,000 mile warranty. I have to leave it there?! How do I get home ... I have to rent a car?! But for how long .... I am calling, they say they will call me back, no call back. I call the person who sold me the car ... no answer. Now how long do I have to pay for a rental? I have no answers
Traded in my Focus for a Fusion. They had great customer service. They were open on what we were interested in and some that we weren't. It helped to be objective and see what me and my wife's options were. Joseph was a great help to us. I'd would come back and buy another car.
They also stayed within my budget and was willing to work on prices.

The sales department had to assist me on a sunday so I could access my truck to get some items. They too were on point with their service. It wasnt their job or responsibility to help me, but they did so in a timely manner. Heaven forbid I need to see those guys again, but if I do, I wont hesitate.

The parts department had pretty good service but they don't take returns under any circumstance for opened electronics regardless if you used it or not. Wish I knew that before buying.

I found the (rare) car I wanted at Harrold Ford and of course was dreading the experience of buying a used car from a dealership. I expected the typical minimum 6 hour experience, the back and forth, etc. My fears were completely unfounded! I had one of the absolute best buying experiences buying a used car ever. These guys were great. I appreciated the professional yet personable service I received from Charles (aka "Gumby"), Tony, and Robert. Letha in Finance was great as well. These guys understood that I have a choice of where I want to buy from. I even had a minor problem with the shifter on my car and they bent over backwards to take care of me AFTER THE SALE. I will be looking to buy my next new or used car from Harrold Ford. THANKS GANG!!!

Had a descent experience definitely nothing to write home about. But it's a mixed bag. It should not be a mixed bag. There's more bad apples than good in this mixed bag. I had a good amount of trouble after buying a car so much to where I won't be purchasing cars here anymore. They're not the best or the friendliest but still good and still nice. So far besides Future Ford which is probably your best bet these guys are Good Enough. Just don't expect them to go above and beyond for you.
The men in the service department drew a PENIS in the dirt on my passenger door after we complained that they had kept our 90k F450 4x4 King Ranch truck for 3 days to complete a service, wash, and fix the wind noise in the cab and did Nothing! My husband complained after 3 days he had received no word on its status and when he showed up in person they had only done the service and nothing else. They claimed that the wind noise had stopped. Very unprofessional to not call the owners after you decided not to work on it especially since the noise is still there! My husband demanded that they bring him the truck because I had to take it to a ladies ride the next day. When he got the truck back it was very dusty and when he drove in with it I noticed the very large PENIS drawn in the dirt on the passenger door. Really, little boys how childish! You drew a very unprofessional symbol of a D#$% that I have to assume was reference to my husband being mad that you couldnt do your jobs! Well boys we will never be back and will never recommend your services to anyone! And we will never spend our hard earned cash on a vehicle there either! Frankly if you were my employees I would of fired you the moment you decide to draw that PENIS on a woman's truck!!

Absolute terrible experience with this dealership. I bought the Car Doc service plan they offer which includes a rental car when you bring your vehicle in for a service. I had a 2012 Ford Fiesta, so I was frequently bringing in the car before Ford bought it back from me under the Lemon Law (not their fault Ford made a terrible car), and had several issues with the services they provided on my car.
First, their service team incorrectly installed an oil filter which caused almost all of the oil to drain out of my car.
Another bad service came after one of the times I had work done on my transmission when a week later the check engine light came on. Turns out one of the vacuum hoses for my brakes came loose, I'm guessing the technician forgot to put the clamp back on, thanks guys.
Back to the rental car. The first few times I took my car in they called Enterprise and had them pick me and gave me a rental car. After those first few times I brought my car in for a service and was told I no longer had the rental service. When I bought the service plan I was told that I would have that rental service for the life of the Car Doc service plan. They ended up giving me one of their loaner vehicles, but I had to fight for one every time I brought my car in, for a service I PAID for.
Lastly, when I was going through the buyback with Ford their employee handling my case told me I would be receiving a full refund on the service plan. I thought I had read that I would receive the amount for the services I had not used, but she assured me Ford would send a check to make up the difference. Turns out I was right, just another example of the incompetence of the employees at Harrold Ford.
2nd time purchasing from Harold and from Charles "Gumby" Tanner! Always takes great care, doesn't waste your time. No pressure, just like you are dealing with a good friend. Thank you for all the help getting us into our new Explorer!
I went to see a Mustang that I found on the internet. They couldn t find the correct key. I was really interested in this car, so I waited for over 3 hours and then they finally got the keys. I was hoping for a deal after I waited so long. They took $300. off. I was not impressed with that offer since I stayed all afternoon trying to give them the opportunity to get the key and make it right. I wanted a service package and was told that I would not be able to take to my local dealership. Then another person came and said this is possible. The overall feel was unprofessional. I walked. They contacted me the next day and said they have wonderful news. When I asked what the news was, he said that there is still 0% financing and the car is still there, AND they have both keys (really-you should have had both keys all along!). Since I was already told that the 0% financing was available for the rest of the month, that was insulting. I made it clear what I would pay (basically what was advertised) and if they aren t able to do that, I would not make the purchase. They tried to offer the same deal again just worded differently. The key issue, the misinformation regarding service, and the contacting me with the same offer left me feeling that this dealership is unorganized and unprofessional. I purchased the Mustang elsewhere. They lost my business. Too bad because I was ready to make that purchase.

I had a customer that relayed his VIN to me wrong and future ford parts people couldn't or wouldn't help me out. One call to harrold ford and he also told me the VIN was wrong but we were able to figure it out and he was able to get me the info I desperately needed. If I had to buy a new vehicle anytime soon I would go to these guys because they go above and beyond to help you out. Thanks again!

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! Choose another Ford dealership! I had an appointment and described exactly what I needed from them to exactly 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I just needed 3 airbags replaced and told them several times even during the confirmation call for my appointment exactly which airbags needed replacement. But guess what? When I got there they somehow messed it up and had on paper that I only needed 2 airbags replaced. I'm honestly in shock that their service department has the collective cognitive ability of elementary school students. Honestly 12 year olds could do their jobs better.
I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. I will never be back to this Ford location for anything and will be telling friends and family this as well due to this egregious experience.
If you want unnecessary hassles and headaches then this Ford location is for you.
