Nice to see a different place, coming from Nottingham and from a two person working family, yet still in the bottom 20% it feels bizarre that people can afford this lifestyle. Personally eating steak along a counter, side by side with strangers isn't my thing, even if I was rich they do however sell many lovely items.

Nothing is sign posted and whilst staff are extremely apologetic that it took 3-4 stop and asks to get to them, it makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience. This store is not well designed for strollers or wheelchairs. Essentially, for the able bodied only. Paying for a juice took 4 x redirections to a cashier who was willing to serve us. Good luck trying to find a toilet!!

It had been years since our 1st visit to Harrods, & my, how it's changed! The elegance is profound, the number of staff at each counter ensures you never wait for assistance. The decor is breathtaking! The food court is absolutely mind blowing!! Easy to spend an entire day here, and a day's wages as well, but definitely worth a couple hours of your day. Enjoy!

I am extremely disappointed by the no dog policy in store and parking. It s ridiculous that since the pet department has been removed they ve became so strict for no reason and they don t care about about their clients needs. As well the staff in some of the departments is not what it use to be. Nothing extraordinary about then the building itself of course. Harrods just kept the fame of the name but is not carrying about their clients like it use to be. Now is all about data collection and push for sale. Too obvious and disappointing.

Very nice place and great customer service. Everywhere you end up in you feel comfortable. Great for a visit but not practical in terms of spending. Though if you've made it, why not pay 5 pounds for a pomegranate:)

Harrods used to be an iconic building in my eyes, but since the new owners have takin over many years ago the place has gone downhill. The layout is horrible and the interior decor is terrible. This place needs a whole new approach.

I would suggest to take a visit in Harrods for it's interior design. It looks fantastic, really elegant. However, I don't suggest to have shopping there. Firstly, the shops arrangement is really messy. Hard to find the shops.Secondly, I think it's not enough fresh air. I feel very uncomfortable.

Just as you'd expect... Outstanding customer service. Great service in the menswear department at Gucci as dad shopped the kids and I were offered refreshments. Kids department had a good range of toys and the perfume department service was great too.

This place is very large and hard to look everywhere also requires you to have a dress code which is quite inconvenient and makes life very difficult but it s a nice place to visit with a partner

Well, its Harrods. What can you expect from Harrods? Expensive & luxury shopping items from top to bottom and beyond. The Christmas World is a bit boring and better Christmas presentations / decor can be found elsewhere not in the Christmas More

Lovely to visit ,but very hot inside, seems no air conditioning. Although you get a store guide of all floors it's very hard to find rest room/ ladies/toilets.only found by tiny baby and female in middle of floor plan. Not on ground floor. Only mentioned as parents room/ baby change!!!

Harrods calls for a traditional visit when in London. Check it out for window shopping and getting some great snaps of those windows and other displays throughout the store. I don't really recommend buying anything there as it is over-priced. But, it is wonderful to tour the store. Also, there are several restaurants throughout the store. The food hall downstairs is a great place to get a quick and good quality meal. Check it out and maybe pick up a teddy bear.

Such an icon of London and mostly why we go to check it out. But this time I went to celebrate my sister becoming an English citizen so enjoyed some time at Harrods Tea Rooms. The staff were lovely and very accommodating with my son who decided it was nap time (also good for everyone else around). We had a champagne afternoon tea which was lovely and as expected but nothing spectacular. The whole experience though was great.

It's always busy, but the variety and scale is what makes this place good. Kids could spend hours here as there lots of product displays for you to try before you buy. Food hall can be hard work with a mount of customers but everywhere else is easy to shop.

I know it may be shocking to not give a glowing review to such a prestigious shop as Harrods and as a Brit I do feel odd doing it. But in all honesty, I just didn't enjoy our last trip there very much at all. We were with our 4yr old daughter and in search of a nice little toy for her. Firstly, the signage and directions in the shop are not very specific or helpful so you can wander around for a while just looking for a lift or escalators. When we did find the toy department, after the initial room, each successive room got hotter with less air. I assumed such a swanky expensive store could afford air conditioning but apparently not for the kids area. It really was very uncomfortable to be in the space. When the toy was bought and we made our way out, we unfortunately chose an escalator bank that must be over a perfume area or something. The air was so thick with heavy smelling perfumes that it was an overload. It was a relief to get outside and breath oxygen again. As much as I want to love the idea of Harrods, I can't actually see me wanting go there again.

World class shopping facility that mostly displays top quality products from the finest providers for the last 170 years.Classified as the largest department store in Europe,330 of them over 100.000 square metres,a pretty good definition of luxury a bit pricey for most of us...also mind the dress code especially during the summer.

Harrods has changed on the last 5 year. This isn't the most amazing and exclusive store in London any longer.
Still sells labels as well as own stock. Customer service is 4 out of 10 nowadays. New store design as well as design bizarre and uncharacteristic.
Used to love going there for little things, large items, lunches as well just for a browse. Hardly visit now. Shame to see this beauty going down.

Fantastic place. Very clean and well organised. Such a massive store that we did end up going in circles a few times trying to exit the store. This place has everything you could ask for but as you might expect, very expensive. Sadly they no longer have the pet section. Would recommend the truffle oil. Tasted a sample and was fantastic. Primarily went in for their grand tea collection. Staff definitely know their stuff when it comes to tea. They have every tea you can think of.

Nice place to come to window shop or get a bite to eat. It was just when my friends and I were there. We stopped to by the Daily Dose Counter and got juices and treats - which were delicious! Try the turmeric milk and the almond bites and cookies. Historical ceiling. Bathrooms are a bit far to get to. Not for budget shopping. This is definitely for those who want to drop $1,000s and up.

A truly world class store with word class brands. A classy place to make yourself pampered and ofcourse to indulge in a little bit extravagance. All premium brands under one roof. A must go if you are crazy for brands. For the regular tourist the basement section offers amazing gift shop to take a special and classy gift from Harrods..a worldwide name for your loved ones.I love going again, again and again to this place and still can't say have much of it..It's not a place to shop but everything including the food, cafeteria n even escalators are par excellence..You can't stop yourself in absolutely being love with this place.

Love the discipline and staff paying attention to the customer greeting them with polite manners although it wasnt busy but all of the staff looked immaculate and very much on the ball in each department.Superb service.Went to Selfridges and sadly most of their staff were more on their phones than paying attention to customers approaching their stands.

Perhaps the most famous store in London is Harrods. London's most famous and unique large store is not in the central area but a mile or so away in Kensington at Knightsbridge, next to the Underground Station of the same name.

Not what it used to be. Came here a lot when I lived in London with friends and family and it always had a charm about it, almost the theme parks of department stores and I always spent a fortune. Now it's just a load of stalls with staff behind them, nothing special appart from the price. No idea what's gone on but very sad.

Inside of the building is really nice, old exclusive shop feeling. A lot of different brands, most of them of course very expensive, but also a few more casual, like Nike. However, the crowds on Saturday are terrible, especially on the ground floor. There are barely any signs which shop is where and no map whatsoever, so we spent too much time looking for a specific shop.

Shocked to see the food halls throwing away food into plastic bin liners at the end of the day. Give the food away to staff, charity or reduce prices prior to closing, but don't throw away food in this day and age. Reporting and reviewing is the only way to instill change as talking to management hasn't worked.

Shocking level of customer service. Ordered online a gift for my partner on 1 Jun. The first order was dispatched timely but lost in transit by RM. It took customer services three days to respond to my email. Following their investigation (another few days), they decided to cancel & refund and asked me to reorder. To this day I am not sure why they were not able to simply post another item. Second order placed and to this day "is being processed". Again, zero communication from customer service. Today is my partner's birthday, so 20 days after I placed the original order I will have to run to another store to buy the gift. Never again will I shop online with Harrods!

An experience. A must see. Staff are really friendly and helpful despite being "just a tourist" who clearly didn't fit their regular clientele.
Visited the Coffee Bar for incredible food and service. George made our visit extra special.

If you are comparing Harrods with Harvey Nicks... Then Harrods wins hands down every time for several reasons :
1. Staff are polite and happy, 2: there is a sense of unity within the whole shop 3: the decor like the Egyptian escalators and the boarding school trunk style lifts are impressive 4: the brand is inclusive, but still maintains the luxury. In the evening and at Christmas it is pretty with the lights!

Visited Harrods a few weeks before Christmas. It was lovely just having a look around all the different departments in Harrods! It had a very christmassy feel, and was beautifully decorated! Well worth a visit if you are touring around London!

Interesting experience. The staff couldn t be more friendly and helpful, this despite witnessing other customers acting petulantly with staff for no apparent reason .

Let down by having the door literally let go in my face as i was leaving the store by the doorman who was falling over himself in deference to fellow customers being swept out into Rolls Royce and Mercedes cars waiting outside. Disappointing end to what was a good day. Some paracetamol and ibuprofen helped with my resulting swollen ankle!
