Totally loved this store...amazing place, which was on my bucket list to do. My favourite is the food hall downstairs, its lovely. Will visit again.
Totally loved this store...amazing place, which was on my bucket list to do. My favourite is the food hall downstairs, its lovely. Will visit again.
Nice to look around however the layout was confusing and staff weren't too happy to help find locations
Harrods is a classic case of paying for the brand. The actual brand experience is appalling with staff being snooty and unhelpful. Where experience is now so important how staff treat customers has to be better.
I love this place, you should try the chocolate there
The Christmas shop is beautiful! The store itself is a maze.
This place is for the extravagant and super rich not for ordinary people. If you are not a multimillionaire / billionaire, arab, oligarch or whatever they may call it. it is not a right place for you. You'd rather visit a mall where you can buy a thing or two. This place is suitable for window shopping only lol.
Must go shopping mall in London, even for sightseeing it's awesome
Great food, loads of brands to shop from and great customer service. Well worth going even if you don't plan on shopping
Enjoyed overall experience. Had cup of tea in cafe, crowded and hot and expensive.
Really nice staff! Everything you need under one roof! Cafes are nice as well with good food.
amazing place ..beautiful store .. it's a must see ...
The tech department in this museum of shops is extraordinary!
I even seen a TV for over $100,000!
Headsets for $2,000!
It's incredible, but if I was rich I'd have it all...
Oh my!
Wonderful! Been to London many times but my first time in Harrods.
Practically spent the entire day there, so much beautiful things to see regardless of many being out of our price range it was an experience in itself!
Absolutely fantastic.. Great selection and good sale bargains on selected items.
Either you go shopping or just to see, this place definitely on the London checklist.
Brilliant items!!!
Make sure you plan ahead and have enough time to shop-sometimes it takes longer than you think, as in, waiting for each staff check back and forth up/downstairs & stock rooms .
Prob not related to Harrods itself, some brands customer services(or employee training) have potential to improve - the brands have their own training ... Or maybe it s just the stock system s fault.
Its such a great shop with such a great feel and quality service
Greate Shopping Centre
It's super luxurious.
Also Greate Taste of Steak.
What can I say, it's Harrods! Floor after floor of clothing, housewares, jewelry, perfumes, shoes and most anything you want. Expensive yes, but you can find unique items for a fair price. Staff is attentive but not obtrusive. Has several restaurants including Harrod Cafe, Tea Room and others. A must experience!
I sat on the 3rd floor cafe and there are an array if teas and coffee. I chose the Moroccan mint and was torn between that and the rose tea. Lovely treat and lovely service. Definitely be back and try the food as well.
Excellent place. Sells everything from tasty steaks to elegant perfume. Though remember to grab a store map as the place is enormous and you can easily get lost or go out the wrong exit.
You need a lot of stock money to go this place... incredible label... high brand label in here... if you just wanna buy harrods bag label for souvenir its start from 40 pound... you can get ted baker shoping bag for 30-35 pound believe me... if you had 10 pound you only get nothing for souvenir... only get tiny pen... really small litte doll 10 cm start from 15 pound
This is a large store. They even have a Harry Potter Section. Darn hard to find the public toilets though.
No need reviews to a huge commercial store..i haven't been there and i wouldn't..not to my intetests.
Harrods is a luxury department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London. It is now owned by the state of Qatar. The Harrods brand also applies to other enterprises undertaken by the Harrods group of companies including Harrods Estates, Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods, and to Harrods Buenos Aires, sold by Harrods in 1922.
Premium luxury superstore. Harrods has everything, at a price. Always an experience visiting. Everything from the elevators to the produce in the food hall exudes class and quality. Highly recommended to visit during the Christmas period. The food hall is a marvel.
If you can visit over the Christmas period it's worth it. The store is massive and you would have to spend a good amount of time to see everything. They also have a cafe to grab a coffee
Food was amazing, great choice of teas and friendly helpful staff. Simple but great sandwiches.
Variety of food and many different flavors of coffee and delicious tiramisu.
As expected also I realised it's cheaper to buy food in the food court rather than eating in the local pubs
Staff are so friendly, great selection of luxury items
Spend hours great staff building great. Food halls great. The original department store
Personally way too big. But it s good to visit if you like high end brands and expensive goods. Good for for tourists to buy souvenirs.
The space was really cramped and maze-like. Do not recommend for claustrophobic people. Also it's so expensive. My family always says it's for people who have so much money they don't know what to do with it but like ???? Give it to people who do need it? Too. Fancy.
Very nice and extremely expensive. It used to be more interesting in the past especially on the outside marketing presentation. In my view it has become boring and less interesting. The store is still iconic in London, but reputation far more than its actual value. Always interesting to visit it.
What can you say. It's Harrods. It's fantastic. The food hall is brilliant. Whatever you want they will have it. It's rich. It's opulent. It's moneyed. It's busy!
The layout of the place is a nightmare. Obviously everything is very expensive, but that was to be expected. I was looking for a Barbour flat cap. They hardly had anything in stock that I could find. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time there unless you are a shopaholic.
My husband and I planned on spending a few hours there shopping and looking. We went to the Food Hall to have some lunch; and found out that our choices were either to "Take Out", or dine in one of their expensive restaurants. There were many different kinds of good food to choose from; however, there was no seating provided. We decided to walk 450ft. to a really nice pub, Tattersalls Tavern, and had a great lunch.
The only place you won t feel poor is the bottom floor with all the Harrod s souvenirs. Which are pretty decent quality, affordable and all extremely cute. But if you re not poor....welcome to your playground of 5 or 6 floors of endless designer pleasure. Let me know what it s like.
Beautiful shop so much luxury Good place to see beautiful things and if you don't have money Good place to dream.. Amazing coffee shop but expensive Amazing shop
Very polite and friendly security upon arrival and exit. Spent a while here, bought some food, some gifts and some memorabilia overall a really great experience!
Good for a look around but a lot of the place is under construction at the minute
the best luxury shopping destination in London. you can never go wrong with HARRODS. everything your soul desires is there.
Came for afternoon tea on Sat 18 Nov. 2017 to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. Amazing. Staff so attentive and explained everything. Kept topping up tea and asking if needed anything. Was so lovely and the cakes and sandwiches were lovely too. Thank you so much x
Tea bags. All I could afford was the tea bags. Lol. Love it.
Harrods... this famous place don t need any opinion, people always coming there ...
Love Harrods although the grand scale of it means ths only way you could possibly see it all is to stay all day. My 2 hours saw luxury accessories, home accessories, Christmas shop and gift shop.
It's something to do because it's a cultural institution, but be prepared to fend for yourself. If it's afternoon tea that you're after, look to Fortnum & Mason or Lyanesse for a frankly much nicer representation of this tradition.
-Hard to find anything
+really kind staff
It s a really big department store. They have so many brands around the world and collection. You can buy lots of things here. The stuff can speak good English and other language depends on their nationality. For the tourists, you can take your tax refund in cash. It s really convenient. Decorations in the building and outside of the building is amazing as well. Must use WiFi here. Otherwise No connection in the building.
Goh, verry expencive, and other than the food departement and the outside lightning not that interesting. A high upper class shopping mall
Lost a lot of its previous charm with the refurbishment in the food court. Used to be an excellent place to find rare ingredients. Now its a a lot more formulaic
The staff at the Pasta Bar were unwilling to cater to allergies and so cancelled food for half of the party and did not allow the rest the opportunity to cancel their food either. They were rather rude when we brought this up at the restaurant and a complaint has only resulted in a half-baked apology that was copy and pasted.
Sumptuous and glorious as expected! Loved the food Hall!
Wonderful Experience
Beautiful Store
Helpful Staff
Highly Recommended !
I worked in Harrods back in 1977 the Silver Jubilee! Bought my mother a complete tea + dinner service in the Harrods Sale!
Can't fault Harrods, it's a piece of history. You can spend hours in there.
Everything you'll ever need under one roof, if you can afford it, just go visit for the experience.
Great day out. Always a great experience and family love it.
I went in specifically for a few beauty items and some of their beautiful fresh pasta. I found the staff on the Huda counter rude, and they avoided eye contact with me until I interrupted their conversation and told me bluntly the product was sold out. Same experience on the YSL counter. I bought the brow product I went in for but only as I needed it. I'm sure they get a lot of uninterested tourists with no intention of purchasing anything but there's no need to be rude and look down on you. The staff in the food hall were much more pleasant.
Overall a good experience Only went to Food Hall looking for Tinned Whisky Cake i have had years ago and didnt find However lots of really great food was bought
Harrods is an amazing store which has everything and is huge. Premium prices but a must if visiting London
Known as the worlds most famous department store, it s safe to say they have everything you can look for. There s many brands and products Harrods offer. They sell everything from accessories, clothes, perfume to food. The prices can be high; which is why I am a rare shopper lol; however the service provided here cannot be compared to the service you can find anywhere else. It is very personalised and their is ALWAYS someone willing to assist you. I m not sure if their jobs are commission based; but they surely stand out. I must add, I was offered free samples for skin care products I wanted to try out which was very handy. So if anyone visits for the same reason; be sure to ask for samples before you purchase so you are able to test them beforehand and you won t have to pay ridiculous amounts for items that don t work well for you.
Good collection, helpful staff. Parking could be cheaper but I guess parking is also handy. Thanks
If you have excess money that you need to get rid of in a hurry then Harrods can help. I ve heard that this shop sells everything but I ve also been to Poundland and I saw a lot of things there, that you can t buy here. But when it comes to luxury watches and designer handbags, Harrods definitely has the edge.
The food halls are incredible although it does seem that every time I visit, they re becoming a little bit more like restaurants and a little bit less incredible. One of these days I m expecting to find Please wait to be seated at the entrance. But in the meantime, the Food Halls, by themselves, are worth taking a trip to Knightsbridge for, and even on their own, would make this the best shop in London.
Other things to see are the Egyptian staircase, the Technology department where you can stock up with gadgets for your next secret mission, and up at the top, the shoe department. Even though I m a man, and I already have a pair of shoes, I was impressed by this place. If you re a woman looking to buy a spare pair, as I believe you often are, then head up to the fifth floor. And if you re a man who doesn t believe that women have a higher pain threshold than you do, then head there too, and you ll see your wrong about that.
Too many things to explore there for one day. Stunning interiors. Having had an afternoon tea at the tea room is a must
Wot can i say, best shop in the world, love the food hall, been coming here for 40 years
Harrods, a British staple to the Knightsbridge shopping experience. In our family you have your child s first hair cut at Harrods & visit Santa in his grotto, for their first Christmas. It creates wonderful memories & instilled a sense of tradition in our family. Harrods is where we have celebrated two hen parties & where we fell in love with their afternoon tea & lunch buffet. No one does lobster like Harrods buffet!
Come during the off hours like after 7pm on a weekday and you won't feel rushed by all the crowds and tourists. And when you don't feel rushed you'll truly enjoy the place because it really is stunning and the selection of merchandise is pretty enormous. Absolutely check out the food court and spend a lot of time there.
Terrible service all around
If I could rate a negative I would!
Snooty and pretentious if the only way to describe my experience here from the staff
I have been here numerous tomes and every time I leave without buying anything and swear I will never go back
This time I mean it.
Sales staff make assumptions about you based on what you re wearing without knowing how much one is prepared to spend there. Unless you are visibly dripping in designer wear or diamonds etc then don t bother because staff won t bother!
Never again!!
I did t even bother taking photos. Not worthy of my film! Albeit digital
This has to be one of the most magical, if not, the most magical department store in the world for me. The range is exotic and vast, with a reputation that is hard for most other department stores to live up to. For me, the best place is the food hall. So much to see. Surroundings can leave you speechless. The ceilings in the food hall are ornate and majestical. Other departments are great to visit as well. Great range of electrical, and the bean to cup coffee machines are great to look at. Staff are so helpful with nothing too much trouble. Harrods to me is the best store in the world!
Great shops. Excellent tea selection/vendor. I was pleased. Harrods has pretty much everything you need.
We enjoyed our visit in The harrods store. There is a Lot to discover on The many different levels. We especially enjoyed The foodarea in The ground Floor. Here you can find a Lot of fresh produce but also bread and our Favoriten, The sweets and Desserts. Many different buns, Donuts or Brownies . You can also war The different Desserts in The counter Cafe or Take Them with you for later. A visit at harrods is defintely worth It.
Very nice shopping place and a lot of changes had been done there recently
This place is luxury shopping at its best! From your Fendi to Gucci or some toys for the kids this place has everything! The food options alone are worth a look inside: baked goods, chocolates, wines, dim sum or even oysters. Something for everyone
Everything you want to find axcept a toilet. But if you want to buy something you are sure that you can find it there .
The food court has scrumptious Indian fare specially if you are vegetarian the dal makhni and chana masala are better than the high end restaurants in London .Would recommend
Amazing sensory experience. The place is ridiculously expensive, but it s worth seeing for the interior decorations, fusion between old and new, shop displays and decorations and all the exotic, exquisite combinations of spices, teas, coffees and sweets. A pleasure for the eyes, for the nose and taste buds. You need a whole day to explore it entirely. If you prefer quieter times, it s better to go there in the mornings. In the afternoon, particularly late afternoon it starts to buzz with tourists and locals that do their grocery shopping there.
