Pleasantly surprised with the events center venue. A lot of poor ratings online made me suspect. However, with the small size it was great!

Nice row spacing. Easy in and out. No long lines to get in, alcohol stations right outside ballroom doors. Close to restrooms too! Close to home and no fighting all the traffic of a huge venue!!!

We saw REO Speedwagon in section A, last row, middle side of section, aisle seats (A row 25, seats 22-21) (floor) and would definitely see another artist/performer here!! Seats were also affordable.

***Update**"

***Update**"
We got a call from Ben, the hotel manager. He wanted to make things right. He comped us a suite on a busy weekend. I am giving this review one more star, and I will re-evaluate after our next stay.

There were issues with this stay right from check in. They had trouble checking me in because I changed the date of my stay. They had the new and updated dates, but had not refunded the difference in room costs from a weekend to a weekday. After taking a long time to check in, they told me they would fix it at check out. The cocktail service at the pool was incredibly slow. I ended up having to get up and go over to the 21 and up pool to get my drink and then come back to the lazy river with my family. The drinks were delicious however. I wish I could have had more of them. Cocktail service on the casino floor was slow as well. In about 4 hours of playing, we got 1 drink. The line setup at the buffet is a joke. We were next, a woman came up to seat us. When she saw that we had a small child, she took someone from another line. It seemed like she didn't feel like getting a high chair. And then, they seated a large group who had been behind us in line before they seated us. The food that I did get to eat was good. But by the time I got in, it was almost 9, and they were closing down many food stations. Then, we called the front desk to request a late checkout. We waited on hold for 18 minutes to talk to someone, then they wanted to charge us 30 dollars to check out at noon. Ridiculous. We called and complained, we got a partial refund, but as of writing this review, we are still waiting for a call from the general managet. Garbage. The lazy riverer is pretty awesome, and was the only redeeming feature of our stay. There are plenty of casino resorts in this area, I'll stay at one of those next time.

First time at this property and it should have bee...

First time at this property and it should have been a wonderful experience if not for a few minor unpleasant things. Before booking I read their Covid safety guidelines which took me to Caesar's Las Vegas page since they are affiliated. I was just in Las Vegas the week before and masks were optional for guests; so, there were plenty of guests walking around without any masks on. I thought it was the same for Harrah's but they were stricter about wearing masks. They even have the mask police, ok, more like one guy walking around telling people to pull up their masks. It happened when I was standing with my husband at a slot machine while he was waiting for a seat to open up at the Blackjack table. There was no one around within 14 ft of us but an employee still told me to pull my mask up. For the record, I am not a pandemic denier, I use hand sanitizer frequently and stay home when I am sick even before Covid-19. I have difficulty breathing with a mask on and sometimes pull it down to breath. I do the same thing when I am in a store with no one around. Anyway, while I walked around the casino floor, I noticed that at the interior slots, some guests also did not have masks on. Since they recently re-opened, they were not crowded and the hotel/casino is spacious enough that guests can freely walk around and still keep a good distance from one another. After having breakfast in a hotel restaurant, we went to pay at the register and the lady standing behind the plexi-glass told my husband to pull his mask up. He was wearing it but it inadvertently fell below his nose and between her mask, the plexi-glass, about 4-5 ft between them that still wasn't good enough. They check your bag when you enter the pool area. Never had this experience at any other hotel property. Pros: Nice property, well kept rooms are up to Las Vegas standard, friendly employees. Cons: Soft mattress, toilet flush sounded like roaring rapids, not enough table games/seating due to restrictions, waited 40 minutes before food came out at dinner. I may give them another chance when the pandemic restrictions are lifted.

Staff was great. Room was clean. AC was loud and the air coming out smelled of cigarette smoke. We were on the 1st floor pool side and couldn't hear the pool but heard everything in the hall. Patio was nice and private but would have been nice to have access to the pool. Patio walls were high for privacy but didn't need to be that high. The non smoking section of the casino was small.

This place is unprofessional and not worth the win...

This place is unprofessional and not worth the windy drive through the pines. The one star is representative of our kind bartender Kate.

On our second day here, housekeeping came in on my dad while he was resting, disregarding the courtesy card on the door knob, and told him he had to leave, this was at around 11am. Me, my mother, and brother were downstairs at the pool when my Dad comes to the bar telling us what happened. We thought he had misunderstood housekeeping as we had not booked two different rooms for two different nights.

When we returned to our room from the pool we received a phone call saying exactly what my dad had told us. The front desk was trying to get us to move from a 2 bedroom to another 2 bedroom which made no sense. After going back and forth, my mother finally spoke with a supervisor who refunded us for that night and we gathered our belongings and went home. The kicker: After going back and forth for over an hour, he says we can stay in the room *cue heavy eyeroll*

I say all of this to say: This was such a shocking and unrelaxing experience that I will never be back. Also, they tried to do the same thing to my aunt (mind you it was her birthday!), however, she was able to stay in her room while we, on the other hand, were over the entire pointless extravaganza and were ready to go home.

Ok so my review definitely doesn't come from winning a jackpot. In fact, I don't tend to do well in the slots or on the tables. However, I always have a good time there. The hotel has always been clean and the hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms are modern and well kept.
The lazy river is a cool place to hang out at on a hot day. It's fun to just lounge around the pool.
Harrah's has come a long way when it comes to their food and restaurants. They have a good selection. They have Starbucks or Robeks for a morning pick me up which I love. They have a steakhouse for a nice dinner. The prices at all places are pretty decent but what you would expect from dining out.
There's a decent selection of slot machines. The dealers we played with at the tables were pretty friendly. Overall, we always have fun going there and we'll be sure to go back again in the near future.

Harrahs is an awesome casino small but great! Have many places to eat inside and drink. Buffet is great! It's also linked to Las Vegas so it's all through total rewards so of you earn credits you can use them in Vegas as well. That's a big reason I most go here to get comps in Vegas as well. During summer they have lots of pool activities going on and they have a lazy river.

Harrah's is a Las Vegas style hotel and casino. They have a beautiful pool area with food and bar. Everything is super expensive though (except during happy hour). $17 grilled cheese, $17 pack of cigarettes, drinks by the pool $10-25. Nice place though.

Great pool resort area. Good variations of tables. Total rewards is a great program. Great number of slots, but not enough of newer machines. Also shuttles to certain areas do not run on weekdays, and on days it does, it is one shuttle in the morning, and leaves the area only a few hours later, not giving enough time to make a day of it.

Spent the day at Harrah's yesterday trying to enjoy the Lazy River. Arrived at 2:30 and there were no chairs to sit on. I ended up having to rent a "day bed" in order to have somewhere to sit. I was really disappointed to see so much trash around the pool area. I didn't see any employees supervising. I was also surprised to know that babies with diapers are allowed in the Lazy River. Along with inflatable toys, food, drinks, etc.

Went to Harrah's to try out their brunch buffet on Saturday. They service was excellent, they seated us closest to the food and always took away our dirty plates in a timely manner. The food was great too. No complaints with the selection and food quality. I will definitely repeat again and recommend it to those who like buffets.
